for case file #83 at CSI

1st layout from my August Counterfeit Kit, made for case file #83 at CSI:

The photo is from Venice, from my traveling to Italy, 18 years ago.

Venice is very special, some people love this city, and some just dislike it. I didn't like the city at all... I came there from Florence, which I simply adored, so the disappoitment was big. I really didn't like Venice and the morning after my arrival, I just got out of town and went to the lakes in north Italy.

I used #96 sketch from Sketchabilities:

The clues to solve the case were: 

Evidence - stripes, punches, jewels, tags/labels, stamps, circles.

Testimony - the joranling tag is a Prima stamp. I stamped it and fussy cut around and then adhered it on a piece of cork, and matted it with a scrap of diagonal stirpes. On the cream tag, behind the photo, I wrote about my traveling to Venice.

את הדף הזה הכנתי לאתגר ההשראה ב-CSI, ובחרתי לעבוד עם תמונה שצילמתי בונציה, בטיול לאיטליה לפני 18 שנים. הגעתי לונציה אחרי פירנצה, עיר שבה התאהבתי. את ונציה, לעומת זאת, ממש ממש לא אהבתי. עד כדי כך, שבבוקר למחרת הגעתי לעיר, פשוט תפסתי סירה מוקדם בבוקר ועזבתי את העיר בדרך לאגמים בצפון איטליה. דווקא התמונות שצילמתי בונציה יצאו די יפות...

החומרים בהם השתמשתי להכין את הדף כולם מקיט החיקוי לחודש אוגוסט, וחלקם קישוטים בהכנה עצמית.
אני מעלה את הדף הזה גם לאתגר של יוצאות מהקווים, הפעם לרשימה של עינת - תחרה, פרחים, פרפרים וחותמות.

Summer Vacation - a lo for #80 case file at CSI

At CSI, case file #80 was a soft summery one. I took one of the photos that was taken way back on  summer 1994, when I was on vacation at Alania, Turkey. The title says: "Summer Vacation".

Here's the case file:

The clues I used to solve this case were:

Scheme - all 5 colors.

Sketch - by Em Stafrace.

Evidence - flowers, triangles, buttons (flair buttons), lace (both ribbon and cs, cut with my Big Shot), floral pp.

Testimony - the hidden journaling, in the envelope says: "Not without some fears, I finally went to a summer vacation aborad all by myself. I went to Alania, Turkey, with a group of people I never met before. It was a bliss! The place was simply gorgeous. We went to the seaside, took jet ski, drove to the a village on the mountains, went to the old city and walked to the fortress on the hill. What can I say? it was so easy to take this vacation :))), and it gave me the courage to take tours on my own afterwards."

דף שהכנתי לאתגר המשולב ב-CSI של השראה, סקיצה וצבעים. הפעם פלטת הצבעים הייתה מאד עדינה ונשית. לקחתי אחת מהתמונות שצולמו במהלך חופשה שלי באלניה, תורכיה, לפני כמעט 20 שנה. זו הייתה הפעם הראשונה שהעזתי לצאת לחופשה בחו"ל לבד, עם קבוצה של אנשים שלא הכרתי קודם לכן. הייתה חופשה מושבחת ביותר :)).
השתמשתי בביג שוט לחיתוך מפיות התחרה ובאותיות של יעל יניב. יכולתי גם להשתמש, סוף סוף, בכל מיני חומרים ורודים ונשיים ששוכבים להם מיותמים בקופסאות.

case file #60 at CSI

When I saw #60 case file at CSI, I knew right away I'd be working on it with a photo of my youngest. The inspiration photo, full of chocolate and cream immediately reminded me of my youngest's love for chaoclate :)).

Here's #60 case file from CSI:

The title says, in Hebrew: "Second Child". I used all 5 colors of the scheme.

My 'clues' to solve the case were: circles (polka dots), hearts & tiny brads (on the jouranling tag), layers, drops (stamped with Ranger's brushed corduroy distress ink, and then heat embossed with UTEE), decorative border, something glossy (the heat embossed drops), and solid white background.

For the testimony - hearts on the journaling spot. My jouranling is actually continues the title, and it says: "But not second loved. In mom's heart there's plenty of room for each and everyone of you. I wanted to have you ever since I gave birth to your brother, and I was impatient to finally see you and hold you in my arms. I will always love you, to heaven and back. Mom."

It also goes for Feb challenge at Scrap For Help, which asked to use plastic (and recycled item) - the date on the photo is a plastic tag, part of cloth tags. I'm not sure it can be seen in the close-up, but I hope you'll be able to trace it.

דף לאתגר נוסף מבית היוצר של CSI - שילוב של צבעים, אלמנטים  וכיתוב. מייד כשראיתי את תמונת ההשראה, היה לי ברור שאעבוד עם תמונה של צעיר הבנים. תמונת ההשראה, עם עוגה מצופה שוקולד וקרם, הזכירה לי מיידית את אהבתו העמוקה של צעיר הבנים למאכלים מתוקים בכלל, ולשוקולד בפרט.

הג'ורנלינג, בתגית הנסתרת מתחת לתמונה, היא המשך של הכותרת "ילד שני", וכתוב בה: אך לא שני באהבה. בלב של אמא יש המון מקום לכל אחד ואחד מכם. רציתי אותך מהיום בו ילדתי את אחיך, והייתי קצרת רוח סוף סוף לראותך ולהחזיק אותך בזרועותי. תמיד אוהב אותך, עד השמיים וחזרה. אמא".

מתאים גם לאתגר של סקיצה ולאתגר של מיחזור שהקריטריון בו היה להשתמש בפלסטיק. הכיתוב של התאריך, על גבי התמונה, הוא תגית פלסטיק, חלק מתגית של בגד.

בדף הזה השתמשתי בחותמות חדשות של רקעים, של המסטר טים הולץ, ועשיתי להם הבלטה חמה עם UTEE. הן חותמות פשוט מדהימות להוספת עניין ברקע. הפרח והסלסול נעשו שניהם באדיבות ידידי הביג שוט. שכבות של בד יוטה ושאריות דפים מדוגמים בצבעים המתאימים לאתגר, ותגית ג'ורנלינג, שהוצמדו לה שתי סיכות מתפצלות בצורת לב.

This is my take on sketch #82 from Sketchabilities:

The photos are of my boys with me, taken about a year ago.  It was a cold but sunny day on December and we took a trip not far way from our home. The winter theme was inspired by the look I had from my window a few days ago (photo at the end of this post), but I used a warm palette. I love the contrast.

The colors of this lo are based on the inpriation photo from an Israeli challenge blog "Out of the lines":

דף שהכנתי לאתגר סקיצה ב-Sketchabilities, עם השראת תמונה וצבעים מהאתגר של "יוצאות מהקווים". תמונת ההשראה הייתה של טוסקנה, וזה ישר מעורר אסוציאציות של קיץ חמים, עם קרני שמש מלטפות. אז בהפוך על הפוך הכנתי דף עם תמונות של הילדודס איתי בטיול שטיילנו בחרבת בית עיתאב בדצמבר לפני שנה. באותו יום מזג האוויר היה קר למדי, אך בשלב כלשהו של הטיול השמש יצאה וזרחה במלוא הדרה. האוויר היה נקי וצלול, ומראש החורבה נשקף נוף יפהפה של שפלת יהודה.
 זה לא ממש מפתיע שהלכתי על תמונות חורפיות, בהתחשב במזג האוויר ששרר פה בימים האחרונים, ובמראה שנשקף מחלון ביתנו בבוקרו של יום חמישי האחרון:

הדף הזה הוא למעשה מיחזור/עשיה מחדש של דף שהכנתי בעבר, ובדיעבד לא כל כך אהבתי. אולי הפעם הוא ימצא חן בעיני יותר :).

קופסא מעוצבת שהכנתי לעצמי בשביל כל התגיות שלי, במיוחד תגיות הג'ורנלינג שאני מכינה בעצמי.

במקור זו הייתה קופסא של תיונים, שעברה עיצוב  מחדש. גם התגית עם הכותרת על המכסה היא מיחזור - תגית בגד שקושטה בדף מדוגם  וקישוטים.

Misbehaving?

This is my take on case file #47 at CSI:

The photo is of my youngest, wearing his clothes upside down. This is one of is favorite shows :). In many of his behavings, including this one, I guess there are people who might think that he's misbehaving, but I thing it's his artistic free spirit and I find it quite charming.

I've used these clues to solve the case: mesh, stirpes, fabric (the bluish flower was made from used dryer sheet). My hidden jouranling is on the tag behind the photo, and it has two flourishes. The jouranling tell about how my son loves to act and perform.

דף חדש שהכנתי לאתגר השבועי ב-CSI. התמונה היא של צעיר הבנים, והיא  אחת מסדרת תמונות שצילמתי אותו לפני כשנתיים וחצי. אחת ההצגות המועדפות עליו היא ללבוש את הבגדים שלו בואריאציות משונות להפליא. הוא ילדון מאתגר ביותר, ויש מי שיכול לסבור שהתנהגויות מסויימות שלו, כמו זו לדוגמא, הן התנהגות לא נאותה. אני חושבת שזה חלק מאופיו הסוער והעצמאי, ורואה בהצגות הללו ביטויים לתכונותיו הדרמטיות משהו (קריירה בקאמרי מובטחת...).

מרבית החומרים בהם השתמשתי בדף הם שאריות. לא פסחתי הפעם על שימוש בידידי היקר, הביג שוט, עם תבנית החיתוך של הכוורת. השתמשתי גם ברשת שנוצרה וגם במשושים של החיתוכים. הפרח הכחלחל עשוי מדף של מייבש כביסה. התזות של גלימר ו-Mr. Huey's הוספו כדי להשלים את התחושה הפרועה של הדף והתמונה.

So Gentle - a lo

#3 challenge at Counterfeit Challenge Blog is 3-2-1 challenge - use 3 embellieshments, 2 dp and 1 photo. On this lo, my embellies are: doilies, tag and floral vine; the two dp are one for the background and the second is the piece of dp under the tag. The (one) photo is of my eldest, 4.5 years ago, petting a deer very gently, so I titled my lo: "So Gengle". It's also describes my boy :).

I admit - this challenge was really challenging for me, but I love the outcome.

I used #209 sketch from Creative Scrappers:

The tag and the floral vine are home made, and all the supplies, except of the large doily, are from my May Counterfeit kit. This lo is my 10th lo from this kit!

האתגר השלישי החודש בבלוג Counterfeit Kit Challenge הוא 3-2-1, ובו יש להשתמש אך ורק ב-3 קישוטים, 2 ניירות מדוגמים ותמונה אחת.. האתגר הזה היה בהחלט מאתגר עבורי :). הקישוטים שלי הם מפיות תחרה, תג וענף פרחים (התג והענף הם תוצרת בית). הניירות המדוגמים בהם השתמשתי הם אחד לרקע והשני - חתיכה קטנה מתחת לתג. התמונה היא של הבכור, מלטף עופר באגם חי יראון לפני כ-4.5 שנים. התמונה משקפת עדינות רבה בליטוף, והעדינות הזאת בהחלט מתארת את הבכור :). האותיות לכותרת הן כמובן 'תוצרת הארץ'.

כל החומרים, למעט מפית התחרה הגדולה, הם מקיט החיקוי שלי של חודש מאי. זה הדף ה-10 שאני מכינה מהקיט הזה!

3rd Birthday - a lo

My eldest, on his 3rd birthday party at the kindergarten. I love how this photo is so colorful, and it inspired my in choosing the dp for this lo. As for the cake... well, I've been trying to make him a Winnie The Pooh shape cake... LOL my kid loved it, and that's all that matters, right?

Almost all supplies are from my May Counterfeit Kit, except the redish washi tape and the red alphas. It's my 9th lo from this kit.

דף תשיעי שהכנתי מקיט החיקוי של חודש מאי. תמונות מיום הולדת 3 של הבכור. העוגה היא ניסיון יצירתי שלי להכין לו עוגה בצורה של פו הדב... הילדון התלהב מהעוגה ועד היום מספר ש'אמא הכינה לו עוגת פו הדב' ליום ההולדת, אז זה בעצם כל מה שחשוב :).

לאחרונה אני מוצאת את עצמי מכינה יותר ויותר דפים בסגנון גרפי, עם צבעים חיים ובולטים. כל כך שונה מהסגנון אליו הייתי רגילה - שאבי שיק/וינטאג'י, מרובה שכבות ופרחים. אני אוהבת את הגיוון בסגנונות. מה דעתכן?

DIY Kraft Journaling tags - a tutorial

Here's an easy tutorial how to make your own kraft journaling tags.

הדרכה קלילה ופשוטה לתגיות כיתוב קראפט תוצרת בית.

Supplies:

kraft cs;

white acrylic paint;

dauber/ sponge
frame shapes stamps

journaling blocks stamps

white gel pen (I didn't put it at first, but used it later)

scissors (okay, I didn't put the either on the photo, but did use them later..LOL)

חומרים:

קארדסטוק קראפט

צבע אקרילי לבן

ספוגית

חותמות בצורת מסגרות

חותמות של בלוקים של כיתובים

עט ג'ל לבן

מספריים (או סכין גרפיקאים)

step 1:

stmp the kraft cs with different frame shapes with white acrylic paint.

מחתימים קארדסטוק קראפט בחותמות של מסגרות, עם צבע אקרילי לבן. 

step 2:

stmap the inner parts of the frames with lines from journaling blocks stamps (I painted only the part of the lines).

another option - draw lines with a white gel pen.

בתוך המסגרות, מחתימים שורות לכיתוב עם חותמות של בלוקים של כיתובים (צבעתי רק את החלק של השורות), או משרטטים שורות בעט ג'ל לבן.

step 3:

stamp the kraft cs with journaling blocks stamps painted with white acrylic paint.

מחתימים בלוקים של כיתוב עם צבע אקרילי לבן על קארדסטוק קראפט.

step:4

Cut the shapes using your scissors (or crafting knife).

And that's it! you've got your own kraft journaling tags:
