My Soccer Players - lo

On a sunny afternoon, this Passover vacation, my kids were playing soccer with friends at the playground nearby. Boy, they run... so much energy! so much fun! Two stones for each goal and there they are, free like birds. It was hard to take those photos (I'm not that expert... LOL), but I find that there is beauty in that catching the movement, even if some of the photos are a little blurry.
The title says simply, in Hebrew: "soccer", and the journaling says: "two stones and we already have a goal, a goaltender, a player and a ball".

This lo was made as DT over simple doodles- the challenge is "inspire others", and anything goes. Come and play with us!

supplies: cs - DCWV; dp - ATD; blue vellum - Miss Elizabeth; punch - EK corner punch; stamp - a freebie from Bugaboo stamps; cs for the title & the matting for the photos - unknown; letters - vinyl letters page from a local 1$ shop, that I transfered into hebrew; doodling - white pen (unknown); watter color pencils; stickles; ribbons, sticker - from my stash.

I'm entering this lo to these challenges:
earthy colors (brown, blue, green) - #49 gingersnap; #55 cinspirations
use some green - #89 stampavie and more
one for the boys - #98 a spoon full of sugar;
it's a man's world - #20 sweet stampin

Thanks for stopping by! Have a lovely weekend!

A Spring Bouquet

This is the bouquet I've made for the family dinner tonight, for Passover. The flowers were made out of plain cs,. based on this tutorial. I added leaves cut in free hand, some tulle and swirls.
After all, Passover is known also as the "spring holiday", and this bouquet is very springy...

I'm entering this bouquet to the following challenges:

Holiday's tags... and a RAK

We are celebrating Passover next week, and look what my talented sister made for the family dinner table! Each one will get a tag on his plate. She really surprised me with these lovely tags.

So I'm entering them for her to the following challenges of anything but a card: #30 creative inspirations and  #35 pals paper arts. Wouldn't it be cool if she wins? :)

And she surprised me with this riboons rak:

Now, isn't she the sweetest sisters of all?

Thank you, sis. I promise to use it asap... LOL

Thanks for stopping by! Wait to my second post today, with my DT's card for Simple Doodles...

Simple Doodles...

Happy Hanukkah

One of the most cheeful customs of Hanukkah is giving money to the children. It called "Hanukkah's money".
My kids are waiting for their hanukkah's money probably from the Jewish New Year (three months ago...).
So for the "lots of money" they'll get (as they think....we don't give so much...), they made these lovely saving boxes.
and they go for these challenges:
the holidays are here! - occ
gift (anything but a card!) - #23 creative inspirations

Completing last week's 365 challenge:
This Tilly image is freebie from Wendy's digial doodling, and I put on it cotton woole, to give it the furi look. I colored the coat with glimmer gel pen. the snowflakes were made by me, no machine.. :) and I sprayed them with silver spray, to give them the glimmer look. the round snowflakes are punched. I also embossed and distressed the pale blue cardstock and put under the image vellum. the sentiment is rub-ons.
even though it might give a chilly feeling, I find it quite a warm feeling card. that's it.

My hunged love for you

This hung up challenge at 365 cards was quite hard for me, since we don't celebrate Christmas, so the theme is not familiar to me. We do have one holiday, when we hang up ornament, but it was 2 month ago and I didn't feel like making decoration fot this holiday.
I just crossed this tutorial for a very beautiful heart shaped card (highly recomended to hop and take a look, the have very beautiful tutorials), and was planning to make one for this challenge, but then Tesab was quicker tham me, so I felt I can't make the same card to this challenge (Tesa, once again- I think your heart card is just fab!
So I made a different heart, with a hidden sentiment, seen when you open the heart... It is small enough to be hung over the car's mirror, for example..
I love this color combo, it is so elegant. the swirls are in silver, but it is hard to tell from the photo.
still have tomorrow to finish the last card for this week at 365 cards... (have I already said I'm adicted?...)
and it goes for these challenges:
1. I'm hung up - day #254 365 cards
2. color combo - blue, white and silver - colour create
3. hidden (the sentiment inside the heart) - abc
4. store ad inspiration - etsy inspired (see the photo I chose)
5. doodling - creative inspirations
6. another doodling - creative card crew
7. thinking of you - simon says
8. glittery - cute card thursday
9. recipe - 1 tag, 1 sentiment, 1 ribbon - C.R.A.F.T.
10. tags so much! - my time to craft
11. bling it on - frosted designs

An easel birthday cupcake inspiration, just too late..

I was planning to do this easel card on time, since the web was full with easel cards challenges, but plans are sooooooo good till you come to implement them.. I just didn't plan right the order of making the 365 cards challenges. Well, it doesn't matter that much, since I got to learn this new technique of easel card. for those of you who are not familiar with this technique, here is a wonderful video tutorial. it's amazing how easy it is to make these cards.
I fell in love with these kind of cards, and I'm sure I'll be making lots of them in the future.
I love the outcome - cupcake is one of my fav images, the color combo is also one that I love, and I think that the dp goes perfectly with the colors here.
so it goes for the following challenges:
1. picture this - day #257 365 cards
2. cupcake inspiration - hope stamp eternal
3. punching - the digikitty (the corners of the pp under the cupcake)
4. geting punchy! - la la land (same)
5. dry embossing - just us girls (the whole front was dry embossed - the pp under the cupcake, the cup itself' the 3 layers of the toping), and it was made as a birthday card (Happy Birthday, Dana!).
6. emboss something - die cuts r us
7. embossing - lots to do
8. hand stamp or digi - paper cutz (the sentiment is from new hand stamp I got)
9. feeling a bit distressed - design dollies (the edges of the sentiment were inked with 'really raspberry' pigment ink).
10. buttons - gingersnap
11. digi sparkle - paper take (the pink paper of the layer and the cherry are shimering and I add some glitter touch.
12. glitter my silly -cute card thurday )again)
13. new or neglected - cinspirations - the sentiment stapm is new.
14. stamp something - crafty cradmakers
15. glitter - prosted designs
16. out of my comfort zone - paper manic - not using any flower, any riboon, any rehinestones, just the image on front - that was a challenge for me.

Let's play tictactoe rick rack!

Well, I guess rick rack & buttons are perfect pair.... they sure can play together... LOL.
The last days were very intensive at work and at home. so I couldn't find enough time to scrap :( . But now it's weekend, so I hope I can catch up a little.
anyway, I had no real rick rack riboons at home, and didn't have time to go shopping (did I hear a relife sigh from my bank accountant?), so I had to use what I already have... and that happen to be paper accents I bought a few weeks ago and hardly used (neglected...), and since it was in neutral colors, I just colored it with acrylics and so I did to the small buttons, just to get to the exact color I wanted.
The only problem is that my kids want to play tic-tac-toe with the card...
The colors of this card make it another 'male card'... )where are all the pink florish card had gone?...., well, don't worry, now I'm off to make the cupcake challenge at 365 cards, so pink will glory again...
have a lovely weekend. here it finally starts raining...
and the cards goes for the following challenges:
1. perfect pair: rick rack & buttons -day #256 - 365 cards
2. sketch - #42 icsketches
3. colors - #4 play date cafe
4. buttons - gingersnap supply
5. cardstock - practical scrappers
6. new or neglected - cinspirations - the rick rack was neglected, the sentiment is of new rub-ons I just bought.
7. color - color dare

Pink Alice in Green Wonderland

This is a birthday card for a 7 years old girl. She is having a birthday party in 2 days and my older kid will bring her this card (plus a present, of course... LOL).).
I made the flowers from a tamplate I have, and the leaves were made according to this tutuorial.
I like the way Alice came out, she looks so young, innocent & expect something exiting to happen. The greeting letters I made myself long time ago.
I'm not sure whether it is a 'green card' or a 'pink card'. so I put it for both ot them....
and it goes for this challenges:
the corrosive challenge - sketch; bee crafty - photo inspiration (lovely colours); abc - G is for green; craftycardmaker - stamp something (My alice is stamped; my time to craft - so many scallops; digital tuesday - flowers; ; creative card crew - Ribbons & gems; - bring the bling; la la land - pink. ; one stop craft challenges - cards for kids; 2redbananas - recipe; pile it on - leaves.

White space

A real challenge for me, to leave the card almost untouched... LOL.
Day 252 at 365 cards, and the instruction were to leave the "white" space with no decorations. I decided to leave the whole card only with the white lace ribbon as a decoration.
I think the embossed white paper and the black and red dp are enough. kind of simple and elegant.
I haven't decided yet for what purpose this card will be, so I didn't write anything. If necessary,I can always add it.
and this time it goes for not many challenges (don't know if I can sleep quietly not fulfill many challenges as possible... LOL)
and the challenges are:
3. Inspiration - http://theplaydatecafe.blogspot.com/2009/11/play-date-cafe-challenge-pdcc03.html with this card I fulfilled all 7 cards of this week. It was a great challenge for me, combining it with all other life projects (full time job, kids, house - you name it), but I"m so glad I did it.

Thank you so much!

Gloria from 365 cards brought this ad to inspire us all. I know I'm not too original being inspired to a wreath, but still from the very begining I knew that I'll be making a wreath of fall leaves on a golden platform. and so it was. later on I saw this sketch at carismacardz, that looked to me just perfect for the wreath. and I realy placed the enormous small punched leaves on a golden cardstok my sister gave me a few weeks ago.

at first, I stamped a heart rubber stamp in the middle of the wreath, but I didn't like the outcome at all, so I took this green paper I ambossed in a cold ambossing, and printed this rake digi stamp. It was a good opportunity to use it.

I could't resist making and using another fan flower... LOL.

Rounding Dream Duo for Jaimie

No question, Pam from 365 cards does realy challenging... this time she asked what are our 2 colours that we love best when we scrap. I won't say I love them all, but much more than just 2!!
but a challenge is a challenge, and so my two most fav colours in scrapnig are brown and pink.
I crossed this project of rownding Jaimie with love, and I was touched by her sad and tragic story, that you can read here.
and the sketch at cps-card sketch was perfect for this request for "rownding" jaimie.
at spcc, it's finally friday, and Mariana wanted us to use our fav stamp and our fav colour combo - and here it is:
the stamp is fairy cake tilly is from this blog (I've just missid the cupcake tilli, but still this stamp is my fav, and as I said before, brown & pink are my fav colours for scraping.
so this card goes to the following challenges:
3. Finally Friday - http://spcolorcombos.blogspot.com/2009/10/finally-friday_30.html(used my fav stamps & my fav. colour combo.
5 more Rounding love for Jaimie + recipe: 1 ribbon, 2 papers, 3 embellisments - http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/2009/11/recipe-for-love-somethings-challenge.html

20. Favorite things - http://flourishesnewsletter.blogspot.com/2009/11/favorite-things-challenge.html (my inspiration for this card is: "Brown paper packages tied up with strings".)
