Everything Beautiful has it's Moment - a CAS card

A Top Cup at Sundy Stamps

I've been a little MIA lately, health issues, but now I'm getting better each day.

Today I'd like to share with you this CAS card I made.

I stamped some 'paint splatters' with pale aqua distress ink, and added some real gold splatters. I stamped the background of the butterfly with two tones of lime green ink, and the detaild one with black ink. The sentiment was also stamped in black.

I adhered two b/w stripes pp, and added a thin gold washi tape in the middle of each of them.

The pannel was adhered to the white cs basis with foam tape.

Selfie (families are forever) - Stuck?! Sketches Feb 15th reveal

Today I would like to share with you a new layout I've made for Feb 15th reveal at Stuck?! Sketches.
This is the wonderful sketch, designed by Laura Whitaker:
I turned the sketch on the side.
I used my Feb Counterfeit Kit for this layout, with the beautiful paper from Altair Art.
I created some texture with modeling paste and stencil, and then added some colors with Lindy's Gang sprays - Sassy Sapphire & Cotton Candy Pink. I also used this sprays plus Silent Night Silver and Creme Brulee Cream to add splatters all over.
Stamping with Kaisercraft's stamps, fussy cutting from more beautiful papers from Altair Art and some DIY enamel dots, flair button, doily and homemade resins - all to embellish around the frame and the photo of the 3 of us. I also used some Robin's Nest dew drops. I think they add so much to my lo
I've used some Creative Embellishments chippies - the frame and, diamond shape and the 'Selfie' title. All of the chippies were coverd with white gesso, and then got several coats with Lindy's Gang embossing powders (King Midas Gold & Desert Moon Turquise for the title and the diamond shape; Cosmic Blue Violet and Silver Moon Sapphire for the frame).
Here are some close-ups on the details:

I would like to enter this lo to the following challenges:
More than Words - Forever & Heart
I was inspired by the theme of love forever and the heart shape created by the couple's hands. I thought of the begining of a family and that families are forever, hence the sentiment I've placed on the right side of my lo.
Creative Embellishments - moodboard plus hand writing.
I was inspired by the shabby chic/vintage design and colors and by the flower. I was also inspired by the multi layers and so is my design. I also have hand writing both on the stamped sentiment and the foam die-cut.
Summer Studio - moodboard #41:
I was inspired by the pastel colors, with the combination of pink, pale blue, turquise, pale yellow and a touch of glod. The flowers were also an inspiration.
I Kropka - challenge #54 LOVE. This layout is all about my love for my boys, my family.

@ Wonderland - Jan 15th reveal at Stuck?! Sketches plus CSI case file no. 246

Hello to you dear crafty friends!
Today it's reveal day both at Stuck?! Sketches and at CSI, and I'd like to share with you my layout for these two challenges.
Here's Laura beautiful sketch from Stuck?! Sketches:
And Here's the case file 246 from CSI:
I went on the traditional way, with the clues. I used all 5 colors from the scheme and my clues were: solid white background, stripes, floral pattern, swirls (on the tag), hearts, flowers, doily, lace, bordr punch, tags, keys, clocks, script stamp, labels, monograms letters.
I was inspired by the Alice in Wonderland theme from the inspiration photo, and used a photo of my boys at the labyrinth at Disneyland Paris. My journaling in in the hidden tag, attached to the papers with a paper clip.

Happy Moments - CSI Jan 1st reveal, with 7 Dots Studio and Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hello  dear crafty friends,
This is my DT layout for case no. 245 at CSI.

Starting this month, you can either go with the photo prompts, the clues, or you can go freestyle and just use the photo as your inspiration anyway you like it.
I went with the clues...
I used all 5 colors, and the clues I've used are banners, triangles and distressing. I also documented a winter activity, and my journaling says: "We've been waiting for the snow to come for a very long time, and when it came, it came in a huge storm. Despite the freezing cold outside, you couldn't stop playing and enjoying in the snow. December 2013."
The background paper is Graphic 45, and the banners are 7 Dots Studio, and so is the small sentiment.
I would like to enter this layout to the current challenge at 7 Dots Studio, which is to use 3 colors. I worked with blue, yellow and green, along with neutrals of black and white.
I also used Finnabair art basic products (white gesso, modeling paste and gel medium), and Lindy's Gang products (sprays: TiffanyLoo Blue, Afternoon Delight Denim, Green with envy, Tawny Turquoise, Silent nieght silver and Summer loving sun. embossing powders: Tannenbaum Green Gold and King Midas Gold).
Flowers are from Prima, I am Roses and from my stash.

Follow Your Dreams - Maja Design and Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hello crafty friends,

Today I want to share with you a wintery layout I've made for several challenges. I've also made a video tutorial, so make sure you scroll all the way down.
Here are some close-ups:

The inspiration moodboard at Lindy's this month, has two options - one is a traditional Christmas colors, and the other is the combination of blue with either silver or gold.
Blue with gold is very royal, while blue with silver is very wintery. I went on the wintery option, with a photo of my youngest a few years ago, playing in the snow.
Lindy's Gang products that I've used:
embossing powders: cosmic blue violet, desert moon turqouise.

I was also inspired by the moodboard at Maja Design:
Blue, cream, brown is one of my all time fav color combo. I've used papers from the Denim & Friends collection, along with Vintage Romance 6x6 paper pad and Vintage Autumn 6x6 paper pad.
The chipboard frame is Scrapiniec. I would like to enter this lo also for the following challenges:
Mixed Media & Art, with this magical snowy/wintery moodboard:
I was inspired by the snow theme and the colors of white, blue, brown and gray/silver.
Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo, which gave the theme of 'splashes'.
Well, there're lots of splashes on my layout :).
Anything mixed media - Creative Artiste. And the last, but not the least, Creative Embellishments with this wintery moodboard:
I was inspired by the blue color and the snowflakes. The twist was to use a border, so I tore the dark dp diagonally and made a border :).

As promised, here's my tutorial of 'how to' for this layout:
Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate your comments very much.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Happy Hanukkah - Stuck?! Sketches December 15th reveal

Today I want to share with you my DT layout for Stuck?! Sketches mid December reveal.
This is the sketch we've been working with:

It's the middle of Hanukkah, so what is more appropriate to scrap than a Hanukkah Lamp tour we did a few years ago?
Walking through the narrow streets in the old city of Jerusalem, watching the bright and warm candle lights in every window and doorstep, was  really spectacular.
I flipped the sketch upside down, as I didn't want the Christmas tree look for my layout, and this is what I came up with:
In this layout, I tried to catch and mimic the warmth and light, in contradiction to the darkness outside.
I've used Echo Park dp and embellishments, mainly from 'The story of fall' collection. I really love the colors of all fall collections from Echo Park.
For making the golden triangle frame, I worked with modeling paste over TCW stencil, and then I sprinkled Lindy's Gang embossing powder (angel wings gold) and embossed it with a heating gun.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

Thank you for visiting my blog and I really appreciate your comments.
I wish all of you happy holidays. May joy and happiness be in your homes and hearts.
