Guest Designer for AAA Birthday card challenge 38 - 'Flowers'

 

I was absolutely thrilled and honored to be invited to be a Guest Designer for AAA Birthday card challenge blog.

The theme for the current challenge is 'Flowers', well you can't go wrong with flowers for a birthday, can you?

I chose a very unusual (for me) colors for my card, which made it quite dramatic - dark purple, dark green (the long vertical panel, though it doesn't show so much green in the photo...), sage and cherry red.

As it goes for a very unique and dear friend of mine, I knew what sentiment I'll be using for this card.

Disney colors birthday card - Featured Stamper for The Color Throwdown

 

I was invited to be a Featured Stamper for The Color Throwdown #694:

I absolutely loved the colors, and they reminded me a Disney theme 😊.

I don't have any fireworks stamp or stencil, so I used some of Kaisercraft ink splashes stamps, using the challenge palette. 

I added some  tiny dots from solid cardstocks, in matching colors, and stamped the sentiment in black. I matted the white panel with a grayish blue cs, and adhered it to the yellow  basis.

An autumn thank you card - Guest Designer at Color ThrowDown no. 659

 

I was honored to be invited as a Guest Designer at Color ThrowDown #659 challenge:

At first I felt this color combo is very challenging me, but then I just started with stamping the orange flowers, with red center spots, and went on with stamping the purple leaves, and I was stunned by the outcome! I really love it!

It has such an autumnal feeling!

I stamped kind of a small red flowers wreath around the flowers and leaves assembling, add a 'Thank You' sentiement, matted on a red cs.

I mounted the white cs with a red basis cs, and that's my card!
