Bloom in red - with love

Monochromatic projects are always very challenging for me, and inspiring too. So I decided to jump in with Color Dare #387, which asked for monochromatic red:
I used the same stamp with the same ink, for the first stamping the stamp was coverd all with the ink, while the second and the third ones, I first stamped on a scrap paper to wipe out some of the ink, and so I achieved this ombre effect.
I so loved this challenge that I made another card for it, which I'll be sharing very soon.
I also took inspiration from the MTF sketch 482:
My take is a little free take on the sketch - I followed the theme of 3 elements with a sentiment partial overlapping them, but instead of palcing it in the middle of the card, mine is on the bottom.
It also goes for the 'All Occasion' challenge at Krafty Chicks.

A birthday card - CAS(E) meets Just Add Ink (and more)

I was very attracted to the new sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch  #365:
It has an unusual layout. I had some scraps from the 6X6 STACKS BOX project I made, some of them were cut in a diagonal cut, so it seemed a perfect match.
I added 3 handmade flowers, using long-forgotten punches, and added Enamel dots in the center of the flowers - perfect for the 'Just Add E' challenge at Just Add Ink:

It also goes for some other challenges:
CAS on Friday - 'Birthday'
AAA Birthday - 'Flowers'
Little Red Wagon - 'Leftovers'

Three in a row - scrappy game for kids (and adults...)

One of the local scrapper dragged many of us to make a fun game for the long 'Stay at Home' period, and it became a kind of 'pandemic' at the local scrppy community :).
To make it, all you need is a chipboard, a cardstock and some beautiful patterned papers (we all have it, right?). I actually used leftovers polka dots papers by Echo Park.
I skipped the stage of adhering the pp to a black cardstock, and used only black chipboard.
You can find the tutorial right HERE.
My own boys are too grown up to play with this game, but I made it for a neighbor, who is a nurse with two young kids. I will give it to her, along with one my new 'Thank you' cards, to show my appreciation to her, being in the front line of the battle against the Corona Virus.
It's a game of 3X3 cards, and you need to match them by the half circles.

This is how it looks, when the cards are all mixed up:

And this is how it looks after you solve the riddle:

From the leftovers, I made a smaller version, only 2X2 cards, and I already gave it to another neighbor, a very good friend of mine, who is staying at home with her little one, and it can give her some quite time...
Fetured at Liitle Red Wagon

It is so simple to make it, and so enjoying. You can make it with the kids and then let them play with it.

It goes for the 'Use your leftovers' challenge at Little Red Wagon.
The box for the cards goes for the 'More than one score' challenge at Scor-Pal.

Stay at home, stay safe!

Thanks card in spring colors

Another Thank You card, this time in spring colors.
For this card I used some scraps from projects I've made lately.
I used the colors from Global Design Project #233:
I added white matting to the patterned papers, and I find that it made the papers just pop from the kraft background.
I would like to enter this card for another 2 challenges:

A thank you card - CAS(E) this Sketch meets Just Us Girls

In these challenging days, when people all over the world fight the CoronaVirus, it's good to stop for a moment to give thanks to all the medical and para-medical people, who are in the first line of this fight.
I made this card for two challenges:
I tried to give a happy and an optimistic feeling with these bugs and bee,  and with these bright colors.
Just Us Girls #528 - colors combo: green, yellow and blue:

Another challenge I would like to enter this card is AAA Cards - 'Along the edge':

Thank you for visiting my blog. I wish good health to you and your families.

A CAS good luck card - Color Throwdown meets Freshly Made Sketches

I loved the simplicity of sketch #427 at Freshly Made Skethces:
I went with the color combo at Color Throwdown #585, even though it was a little challenging for me:
For a little extra texture I embossed the white panel. A tiny enamel dot fot the flower center and a sticker for the sentiment witch says, in Hebrew: Good Luck!
I would like to enter this card also for the CAS challenge at Krafty Chicks.
Have you seen my new greeting card box? I'm so proud of myself for making it on my own!

A DIY cards box - thinking of better days

We have to believe there will come better days, and we will again have lots of happy occasions, reasons to give greeting cards to people we love.
Since lately I'm making lots of greeting cards, and my old greeting cards box is too small for hosting all of them, I made a new one!
It's all from chipboards and patterned papers (Echo Park 'Happy Summer' collection).
I still need to label the dividers...
The measures are 7.5"x5.5"x6", and it can hold over 60 cards!
Basicly, building it is just like the 6x6 stacks holder I made with a tutorial, which you can find HERE.

A CAS ombre birthday card

Crafting, in these not-so-easy times, is my therapy, like many other crafters around the globe.
The springy color palette of green and yeallow, with a touch of brown, makes my heart sing :), so I made this card for 4 challenges:
I went on a subtle palette of the greens and yeallow, and made the ombre main panel, using Bonjour Butter flat spray, Lucious Lime magical from the Caribbean Cruise magical set, and Frosty Forest Green shimmer spray.

A CAS birtdhay card, in green and crimson

When I finished making my DT layout for CSI (HERE), there were left more stamped flowers in crimson, so I used them on this CAS birthday card.
A leftover of striped pp with some green leaves, fussy cut crimson flowers, with glittery green enamel dots as flower centers, a stamped sentiment in green (saying 'happy birthday' in Hebrew) - and my card is ready!
It goes for the following challenges:
Little Red Wagon #540 - Etc, Etc, Etc (3 of something). I have 3 flowers, 3 leaves (or parts of them...), and 3 enamel dots, so it makes it 3 of 3...
TimeOut #157 - Birthday:
AAABirthday #11 - Flowers:
SimonSays Stamp Monday challenge - A Bit o' Green
SimonSays Stamp Wednesday challenge - Use Some green.
Here's a close-up:
