A Magical Journey-CSI plus OUAS

Today I want to share with you a lo I've made for two challenges sites, both concentrate on journaling.
Here's case file S365-2 at CSI:

And here's October sketch from Once Upon A...Sketch, which also asked for journaling about 'The Journey'.

My clues to solve the CSI case file were:
Scheme - all 5 colors are on my page.
Eveidence - circles, book pages, tearing, buttons, hearts.
Testimony - on the hidden tag, behind the photo: "Once upon a time there were two little princes and their Mummy. Every night Mummy read stories to her princes, and they were facinated by the magical worlds she revealed in her reading. They kept asking for 'one more story' and Mummy was so happy to see her little princes' delight, so she went on and on. As the princes grew up they learned to read, but still they insist to hear Mummy's reading, so she keeps on reading to her princes every evening, as she dreams of the days she will read to their little princes and princesses. Nov 2012."

השתמשתי בהרבה distress stain גם לרקע וגם כדי לצבוע את את דפי הספר הקרועים.

So Cool! - GD for Scrap Africa

I was very thrilled when my lo 'Strike a Pose' lo was chosen as one of the Top at Scrap Africa  for their 'Blue/Green and White challenge , and I was very honored when Denise asked me to be their Guest Designer for October 1st challenge.

I was asked to make a lo based on this sketch from Page Maps:

The photo is of my youngest, about 18 months ago, at the beach. 

For the background I used CW bricks mask with modeling paste and then I maked the 'bricks' with another CW circles mask, to mimic the pebbles in the photo. I used some lace, zig-zag trim, star and film strip die-cut (both Sizzix TH Alternations). I also used some gauze, and  placed some metal embellishments on it, as if you've found a treasure comming out of the sea.

זכיתי במקום ראשון בבלוג של Scrap Africa באתגר של כחול/ירוק ולבן, עם הדף הזה, והוזמנתי להיות מעצבת אורחת שלהם החודש, עם אתגר סקיצה.

עבדתי עם תמונה של צעיר הבנים בחוף הים, שצולמה לפני כשנה וחצי. הרקע מורכב ממסיכה של לבנים עם משחת עיצוב, ולאחר שהמשחה התייבשה, החתמתי אותה עם מסיכה נוספת של עיגולים, כדי לדמות את חלוקי האבן שעל חוף הים. השתמשתי בתחרה ובסרט זיג-זג ובחיתוך של סרט צילום שנעשה עם ידידי הביג שוט. הוספתי גם תחבושת עליה מיקמתי כמה קישוטי מתכת, כאילו מצאת אוצר שנפלט מבין גלי הים.

My take on the challenge at Once Upon A... Sketch (I turned the sketch to the side, cause I really love the vertical way of this sketch):

The hidden journaling, on the tag behind the layers on the right side, says: "love is a magic. you can't really explain it, but you sure can understand it. I Love you forever. Mom.".

Most of the materials I used here are from my Feb Counterfeit Kit, and this is my 2nd lo with this kit.

I made the chipboard frame usuing acrylic paint, embossing ink, UTEE, Perfect Pearls and Unity script stamp. Here are some close-ups:

I love the contrast between the grungy/metal look of the frame and the soft/vintage look of the doilies and lace.

I added some felt flowers and topped them with pearls and did some masking on the circle. I used lots of Cheery Lynn dies here - French Pastry Doily, English Tea Party Doily, Fanciful Flourish and Francesca border. I just love their dies!

Patterned papers are Kaisercraft, Simple Stories and some scraps of Ruby-Rock-it.
This lo also goes for the 'passion' challenge at another freaking scrappy challenge, as my kids are my biggest passion :), and for the Love theme challenge at Tando.

דף שני מקיט החיקוי שלי לחודש פברואר, הפעם בסגנון יותר וינטאג'י. מסגרת הצ'יפבורד עברה טיפול מסיבי בטכניקה שלמדתי אצל ענת, Mrs. G, המשלבת צבע אקרילי, דיו אמבוסינג, UTEE שקוף, החתמות ו-Perfect Pearls. אני מאד אוהבת את הקונטרסט שנוצר בין המראה המטלי המשופשף של המסגרת למראה העדין והרך של הפרחים  מלבד והתחרה.

השתמשתי כאן בהרבה תבניות חיתוך, שאת כולן אפשר למצוא בחנות של ענת, איקס מיקס.

מחר אעלה דף נוסף, לאתגר השני בבלוג של קיט החיקוי, אלא שהפעם הסגנון יהיה שונה לגמרי, אם כי עדיין אותם צבעים שולטים. אתן מוזמנות לבוא גם מחר.

My 10th laout with my Counterfeit Kit! and I thing it's going to be the last one this month, cause I used my kit to the most little pieces. I still have some leftovers, so I just might surprise myself and make onother lo with this kit.

The photo is again of my oldest, this time when he was about 5Y old. Love the happiness on his darling face :))).

The inspiration was, again, #56 case file from CSI:

The clues were:

Evidence: string, wet medium, plain cardstock background.

Testimony: my hiddend journaling is on a tag with a string, behind the photo.

דף עשירי (!!) מקיט החיקוי של חודש ינואר. אני חושבת שזה יהיה הדף האחרון שלי לחודש הזה, כי נותרו לי רק שאריות קטנות מהקיט, אבל אולי אפתיע ובכל זאת אכין עוד דף איתן (ועם השלמות).

הסקיצה הפשוטה מצאה חן בעיני והדפים המדוגמים שהיו בקיט שלי ממילא התאימו לאתגר המשולב ב-CSI.

השפרצתי קצת מיסט שחור, ו'לכלכתי' את שולי העיגול בדיו שחור. וגם הפעם השתמשתי ב-flair buttons. הם פשוט תוספת מוצלחת ביותר לקישוט דפים.

Mr. Happy

The challenge for January at White With 1 is a color swatch (aqua plus red) and a summer photo. The photo is of my youngest, at the end of summer vacation 2006. I just love that smile :)). The title says: "Mr. Happy". 

I used my January counterfeit kit for this lo. I used some texture modeling paste as a frame and inked it gently with bluish pigment ink.

הדף הזה הוכן עם חומרים מקיט החיקוי של חודש ינואר, לאתגר שמחייב שימוש בקארדסטוק לבן, בתוספת משתנה של אלמנטים. החודש האתגר היה שימוש בפלטת צבעים (כחול ואדום) בצירוף תמונה קיצית. התמונה היא של צעיר הבנים בסוף חופשת הקיץ בשנת 2006.

השתמשתי במשחת עיצוב עם טקסטורה כדי ליצור מסגרת, ועליה הנחתי את שכבות הניירות המדוגמים, הדוילי, התחרה והתמונה.הסלסולים הם מסיכה שיצרתי מחיתוכי Cheery Lynn, והוספתי קצת כפתורים ו-pearl pen לעיטור. בצדדים הדבקתי וואשי טייפ ושאריות של נייר מדוגם, כדי להוסיף עניין לדף.

Sweet Summer Days - Aug page kit for CKC blog

This month at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog we're doing it a little different. Each of the Master Forgers, and some other talented Guest Designers, have two posts. The first post is a page kit along with a sketch and a layout. The second post is about the creative process of each.

Each designer was assigned for one month. Mine was August, cause my birthday is on this month :). I named my page kit: "Sweet Summer Days", and here it is:

I added a sketch from Creaitve Scrappers, sketch # 233:

I really liked this sketch and even made a layout based on it (HERE), but eventually I did my layout with no sketch at all... I love this design and made several layouts using it, so I just used once again.
Here's my layout, with a photo of me, taken by my kids, on summer 2010:

The day this photo was taken was one of my worse days ever. I was in a very critical point fighting on my youngest's educational future. On that day, I left a meeting concerning my kid with tears in my eyes. The best I could do afterwards was to take my boys and go to the seaside. Being by the sea have a calming effect on me, so whenever I'm troubled - that's the place for me.
Me and the boys had one of our best afternoon there. I finally coould breathe a little. When you just breathe, you can get over many obsticles. Just Breathe....
I used 4 different dp here (3 from my page kit for the background, for the matting and for the stripes; and some scraps for the punched leaves). I also added some felt flowers made with my Big Shot, topped with pearls.

בבלוג של קיט החיקוי החודש אנחנו עושים את הדברים קצת אחרת. במקום קיט לחיקוי, כל אחת מחברות הצוות, ביחד עם מעצבות אורחות, מעלה שתי רשומות עוקבות. הראשונה היא של קיט לעיצוב דף, ביחד עם סקיצה לבחירתה ודף שאותו היא הכינה. החלוקה היא לפי חודשי השנה, ואני זכיתי לקבל את חודש אוגוסט - חודש יום ההולדת שלי. הפוסט השני הוא על התהליך היצירתי של כל אחת.

הקיט שלי הורכב מכמה דפים מדוגמים, קארדסטוק קראפט, בראדים ומדבקות של MME, סרטי תחרה וסרטים נוספים ביחד עם כפתורים מהאוסף הפרטי. הסקיצה שצירפתי היא סקיצה שמאד מצאה חן בעיני ואף הכנתי ממנה בזמנו דף, אבל בסופו של דבר את הדף שלי הכנתי בלי אף סקיצה. חזרתי לעיצוב שאותו אני מאד אוהבת ובו השתמשתי כבר כמה פעמים.

השתמשתי ב-4 דפים מדוגמים: 3 לרקע ולרצועות וגם למאטינג של התמונה; השתמשתי גם בשאריות של דף מדוגם נוסף לפנצ'ץ' את העלים. הוספתי גם פרחי לבד שהכנתי בעזרת הביג שוט.

התמונה צולמה ע"י הילדים שלי בקיץ 2010. זה היה אחד מהימים הגרועים ביותר שלי. הייתי בנקודה קריטית במאבק על החינוך העתידי של צעיר הבנים, ויצאתי מישיבה עם דמעות בעיניים. כדי לשפר את המצב, לקחתי את הילדים ונסענו לשפת הים. זה המקום האולטימטיבי עבורי כשאני מוטרדת. על שפת הים, עם המרחבים והאוויר, והים הגדול - יכולתי סוף סוף קצת לנשום. וכשנושמים נשימה עמוקה וטובה, אפשר להתגבר על הרבה מכשולים.

My take on the sketch from My Creative Sketches, with a photo of my youngest, when he was about 1 year old. It was his older brother's birthday party, and he fell a sleep. So precious, so perfect.

I used dp from different manufacturers - Bo Bunny, Glitz, DCWV, October Afternoon and Prima; Mr. Huey's color mist, Prima say it in crystals; MS punches; WP story tellers alphas. The felt flowers and the shaped matting were made with the Big Shot; lace and flowers are from my stash.

באחד מימי ההולדת של הבכור, בשלב כלשהו צעיר הבנים, שהיה  כבן שנה, תפס תנומה. העברנו אותו מיד ליד, ובאופן מפתיע זה בכלל לא הפריע לו והוא המשיך בתנומתו. המתיקות והשלווה המושלמות שהונצחו בתמונה, הצדיקו דף.

הסקיצה שהתפרסמה ב-My Creative Sketches התאימה לי לעיצוב התמונה הזאת. השתמשתי בשאריות דפים מדוגמים של חברות רבות, כשאת חלקם פינצ'צ'תי. פרחי הלבד והמאטינג של התמונה נעשו בעזרת הביג שוט. השפרצה של Mr. Huey's לבן השלימה את המראה האוורירי והחלומי של הדף.

I really loved the new case file at CSI, with it subtle palatte:

This lo is about my youngest, who suffers from hyper sensetivity, and as a baby/young kid had many difficulties coping with verious stimulations. On the hidden tag I documented some things that he felt "comfortable" with, and some that just made him totally carzy.

My clues to solve the case were:

Theme - I used all 5 colors.

Evidence - woodgrain (the background paper has a light woodgrain pattern, which is better seen on the close-ups), a button (on the jouranling tag), silver metal accent (the frame of the brownd dotted brad on one of the flowers).

Testimony - my hidden jouranling tag has a button on it.

I used November's sketch from Once Upon A...Sketch, with the open theme plus jouranling:

I would like to enter this lo to Frosted Designs blog hop. I used the following ingredients: embossing (dry, swiss dots on the off white banner); a button, die cut (the chickenwire - Cheery Lynn; the frame - bought die-cut); spray mist (gray spllaters and the chickenwire mask with brown chalkboard mist); alphas stickers; flowers; lace.

דף מעוצב שהכנתי לאתגרים של CSI, OUAS ו-Frosted Design.

הדף הוא על רגישות היתר של צעיר הבנים, ממנה סבל מאד כתינוק וכילד קטן (וכמה טוב שיש שיפור והטבה עם חלוף השנים). המצב הכל כך טבעי עבור תינוקות, של נינוחות ותחושת נעם בזרועותיה של אמא, בכלל לא הייתה מובנת מאליו אצלו. בתגית הכיתוב הנסתרת, מאחורי התמונה, תיעדתי כמה מהדברים שגרמו לו להרגיש "בנוח", וכמה דברים שפשוט הטריפו אותו.

רשת הלולים מככבת כאן בשני אופנים - גם כחיתוך בביג שוט וגם מסיכה עם התזת מיסט. וכמובן שלא יכולתי שלא להשתמש שימוש מסיבי במכשיר ההשחתה של אינגוילד :). וכפי שאני אוהבת -גם הכנתי פרחים מעשה ידי (הגדולים, עם הבראדים כמרכזי פרחים).
