Sending WAVES of birthday wishes - Guest Designer for More Than Words

Last February I was the winner of the mini challenge at More Than Words challenge blog (you can see my card HERE), so I was very honored when the ladies from MTF asked me to be their Guest Designer for May mini challenge.

The Special Guest post.

The challenge is to use the word 'Wave' on your card, tag or atc.

When I saw Mintay Papers 'Marina' collection in my stash, I just had to use them. Such a beautiful collection!

I went back to my former style of multi layers, vintage and distressed look.

It also goes for the color challenge at Just Us Girls:

Be Yourself

Hello crafty friends, today I'm sharing a mixed media card I've made, inspired by two moodboards:
I was inspired by the dark shades against the crystal blue, and by the snow.
I was inspired by the sketch, the snow, and by the touch of purple.
I've used many 13@rts beautiful products - papers, stencil, clear gesso, violet mist, microsphere beeds and a sticker.
I also used Lindy's Gang Pure White embossing powder and some Finnabair's mini art stones.
Here're some close-ups on the details:

A birthday card for 'Celebrate' challenge at Altair Art

This month is my turn on Altair Art blog to host the monthly challenge, and since August is my birthday month (actualy - today!), I chose the theme of 'Celebrate', and kind of celebration:

Hop over to Altair Art blog to see the fab creations my fellow DT made for this challenge.
I made a birthday card, using the beautiful papers by Altair Art, but this time with some mixed media techniques.
I was inspired by the colors of the monthly challenge at Lindy's Gang blog:
So I went with this beautiful soft and subtle pallet. For my card I chose the colors of pink, purple and green.
I used my bigshot to cut the doily and then used embossing ink with Lindy's Weapping Willow Green ep to get this beautiful shiny subtle green color. I also die cut a circle using the same technique, for the center, and matted it with a circle cut out of Altair Art paper. I really love the shiny look it got!
I also die cut the flourishes and colored them with Lindy's Pop Rock Purple flat fabio spray.
The flower in the center was colored with Lindy's Chteau Rose flat spray and the center was colored with the Pop Rock Purple spary.
I used a beautiful pinky paper by Altair Art, both for the main rectangle, and the matting circle and the sentiment.
I heat embossed Kaisercraft stamp on the pinky paper with Lindy's Oom Pah Pah Pink ep, and splatterd some Lindy's Mad Hatter Mint shimmer spray and Chateau Rose spray.
The sentiment was heat embossed with Lindy's Weapping Willo Green ep and then stampped again with Ranger's ink, so it got a little shaddow.
For the final touch I used gauze, pink enamel dots and micro beads.
The Altair Art papers I've used are:

Happy Dreams - a beach inspired card

Happy Saturday dear crafty friends,
Today I'd like to share with you a beach inspired card, all full with summer vibes, I've made using beautiful Lemoncraft's papers.
I love to add more and more layers to my projects, and this card is no exception:
I had some stamped and heat embossed seashells from a previous project (you can see it HERE), and I used them in this card:
I really love the one that is stamped and heat embossed on a vellum (Lindy's Gang Orange Creamsicle embossing powder)!
The sentiment is also stamped and heat embossed (Lindy's Gang Desert Moon Turquoise).
I used pieces of gauze, a twine and Finnabair's mini art stones, all adhered with Finnabair's soft gel medium:

I would like to enter this card to 2 challenges:
