An autumn thank you card - Guest Designer at Color ThrowDown no. 659

I was honored to be invited as a Guest Designer at Color ThrowDown #659 challenge:

At first I felt this color combo is very challenging me, but then I just started with stamping the orange flowers, with red center spots, and went on with stamping the purple leaves, and I was stunned by the outcome! I really love it!

It has such an autumnal feeling!

I stamped kind of a small red flowers wreath around the flowers and leaves assembling, add a 'Thank You' sentiement, matted on a red cs.

I mounted the white cs with a red basis cs, and that's my card!

It goes for the 'Nature' challenge at Addicted for Cas:

It also goes for the 'Stamp It' challenge at Simonsays Stamps Monday challenge.

Thank you, CTD ladies, for inviting my to be your Guest Designer!

And thank you all for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments very much.

Just be yourself - an art journal for Art and Soul Studio

Happy Monday, I'm excited to share with you my creation as a Guest Designer for Art & Soul Studio blog.
I was inspired by the current challenge, which is a bold and beautiful moodboard, and you have to use red:
I took my inspiration from the feminine photos, the checkered pattern and the splatters, and decided to make an art journal, with a message from the older me to the younger me.
Here're some close ups:

I also made a video of the creative porcess:
I was also inspired by two more challenges:
7 Dots Studio, with this stunning moodboard:
7 Dots Studio products I've used - Writer's block tags and die cuts; Furtune teller 6x6 pad; Thoughts Keeper stamps.
Lindy's Gang November colorful challenge:
Other products I've used:
Ranger's Archival ink - vermillion, watering can, shadow gray, jet black.
Kaisercraft - texture stains clear stamp set.
Unknown - circle stamps.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comments are much appreciated.

Together Forever - GD for Scrap The Boys

I was very honored to be invited to be a Guest Designer at Scrap The Boys for November, with the them of:
The only problem was to decide who will be my valentine - my eldest boy or the younger? Choosing one, or the other, could have caused WW3.... LOL
So I solved the dillema by picking a photo of me with my eldest, while I was pregnant with the youngest. So it's me with my two men.
I've used the Beautiful Altair Art papers, from the Ever Dream collection, and did a lot of fussy cutting.
I did some stamping here and there and used Lindy's products to add color to this beautiful pp. I used:
sprays: Sweet Violet Purple Teal, Aloha Avocado.
ep: Weeping Willow Green Gold, Mery-Go-Round Green, King Midas Gold.
magical shaker: Bavarian Blue.
The chipboards are all Creative Embellishments.
Here are some close-ups:

I really loved working on this layout. I hope you like it.

MIni Album with Graphic 45 papers - GD for Mini Album Makers blog

I was invited to be a Guest Designer at Mini Album Makers blog, and today I'm up over there with this gorgeous mini album.

It's a super quick and fun mini album, you can easily make in an hour or so, using one cardstock or designer paper and some DP and embellishments.  The size of this mini album is 5 1/8" x 3 7/8", and it can hold up to 15 small photos plus some journaling tags.  You can either make it as a mini album that stands for itself, or as an insert in a larger mini album, to document separate events or trips, etc.
For a long time I've been intrigued by the concept of 'One Sheet Wonder (OSW)' to make a mini album or an insert that holds a few photos, and I searched Pinterest for ideas.  There are many tutorials, with many variations of OSW, and I decided to use this tutorial by Claudia.  The measurements are in cm, so if you need the instructions to be in inches, you can use this tutorial, which has a table of measurements in inches.

I used papers from a very beautiful Graphic 45 collection - 'Portrait of a Lady'.  For the base I used 12x12 DP (these papers are so thick, and it's perfect for mini albums!) and for the decoration I've used some 8x8 papers, fabric flowers, lace flowers, eyelets and baker's twine.

My mini album is a little different from the original one, as I wantd it to hold more photos, so I did some flaps and pockets, and also made a booklet.  I could do it easily since the construction had gussets of 1/4".

You can see that I've added a small pocket on the outer part of the middle section:

And a little decoration I adhered partially, so it can hold a journaling tag and a small tag for date etc.

And the booklet:

A tip: when making a mini album based on folds and flaps, without a hinge, keep your embellishments in the inner part of the mini flat, otherwise you won't be able to close it properly.

You can close the mini album either with a ribbon (make sure to adhere it to the base before you decorate the front and back cover.  Another option is to use magnets to close the album (again, make sure to put the magnets before decoration the base.

Here are some close-ups:

I hope you'll give this mini album a try. If you do, let me know so I can come and look and leave you some love.

True Beauty - a lo for Stuck?! June 1st reveal plus GD for Color Me Scrappy

One of my April's layouts won Top 3 at Color Me Scrappy, and I was invited to be a Guest Designer over there for June. Here's June 1st palette, with the added creteria to use at least 3 different manufacturers. Here's the palette:
I combined it with my DT assignment for Stuck?! June 1st sketch:
I flipped the sketch to the side, and this is what I came up with:
At first, the color combo, with the pink, was very challenging for me, but I'm so pleased with how my lo came out! so soft and serene. The photo was taken on March this year, on the deck at Tel Aviv port. I've had a wonderful day, great weather and meeting my BFF.
The products I used to meet the CMS creteria:

Prima - pp, flowers
K & Co. - die cuts
Crate Paper - pp, a brad
My Mind's Eye - pp
Basic Grey - a brad
Fancy Pants - flair buttons
Purple Pumpkin - crochet doily
Petaloo - flowers
Kaisercraft - flowers
Here are some close-ups on the details:
Thank you, Tammy, for inviting me to be a Guest Designer at CMS. I enjoyed making this lo very

much.
