Clowns - a mixed media layout for 13@rts Circus challenge

I had so much fun making this mixed media layout for the current challenge at 13@rts, which is Circus.
Here's the fab moodboard:
I knew I would use a photo I took at Madame Tussaud's museum at London, whith the clowns.
To make my layout even more clownish, I turned the patterned paper, so the printed words were upside down :)
I added lots of stitched circles to the already printed ones on the pp, and used lots of mediums to create a fun atmosphere.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

13@rts products I've used:
Alice in Candyland - 'Whatfever U Want', 'Queen of Hearts'
Untill Dawn - 'Days and Nights'
Mediums - Gesso clear, Gesso white, Gel medium
Mists - Pastel Blue, Chalk Blue Light
Color Glow - Ruby, Amber

A handsome guy - Scrap The Boys

Honourable mention at Scrap The Boys

Scrap The boys blog has a wonderful moodboard for this month:
The minute I saw it, I knew I wanted to play along. The mix of blue and green is just fab.
I used lots of scraps for this one - Basic Grey, Echo Park, 7 Dots Studio, K & Co., Crate Paper.
For the background I used mostly 13@rts mediums, plus stamps from Prima, 7 Dots Studio and Blue Fern Studio. I also use TCW stencils and TH distress ink.
I really love the messy background, and the colors go perfectly with my boy's photo.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

Nature - Timeless Beauty

Winner at More Than words
one of the Top Picks at Words & Paintery
Hello dear crafty friends,
I'm sharing a layout I've made with the inspiration of some challenges.
All papers are from 13@rts, and so are the different mediums (list of 13@rts products in the end of this post).
One challenge is at More Than Words, with asked for Nature and an aminal image.
The photos I've used are from Paris, a little place of nature in the middle of the big city, with a beautiful tree next to the river Seine. I love water and trees, and I love little places with nature in the middle of an urban city. Butterflies are my ultimate image of freedom, so I've stamped lots of butterflies on my layout.
Onother challenge is at Words & Paintery, with this wonderful image:
I was inspired both by the colors and the encourgement phrases, and I've use one on my layout: "A flower blooms more than once".
The 3rd challenge I was inspired by is from Mixed Media Place, with this beautiful mood board:
I love the colors of blue/aqua with kind of orange in the sky with the clouds photo, and also by the white flowers photo.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

13@rts products I've used:
Untill Dawn collection - paper -Sending Flowers, A4 element #2, stencil - Berries, A4 stickers.
Stencil - Strip mesh.
Alice in Candyland - paper - Destination Unknown.
Mediums - gesso clear, gesso black, gesso white, modeling paste, gel medium.

A Postcard from Paris - February Counterfiet Kit

I'm playing again with the Counterfeit Kit Challenge. The inspiration kit for this month is 'Weekend in Paris' by Noel Mignon:
It's a very rich and luxurious kit, jam packed with lots of beautiful pp and embellishments, all in soft colors.
I have ton of photos from our journey to Paris, so the theme was perfect for me. I named my kit 'A Postcard from Paris'.
At first, I thought it's going to be a tough mission for me to counterfeit this kit, but let me take you through my process.
The first thing I was attracted to was the black/white bows, so I made 1 large bow and 2 small ones:
Then I picked the cardstocks, in matching colors to the inspiration kit.
The next stage was going through my endless pp, and I just couldn't stop adding more and more beautiful papers.
I just got my DT package from Altair Art, and it is full of beautiful papers! So naturally I've put some to these papers to my kit. I added 7 Dots Studio papers, Prima papers, Lemoncraft papers, and Blue Fern Studios papers.
So this is how the papers in my kit look:
Now it was the alphas turn, but I couldn't resist adding some 6x6 pp too, once again from Altair Art and 7 Dots Studio:
Then came the fun part - gathering the embellishments!
Lace, flowers, flair buttons, crystals, die cuts, Robin's Nest dew drops, wood embellishments, pom pom trims, crochet flowers, baker's twine, washi tapes, DIY enamel dots, resin embellishments, chipboards, rub-ons, stickers, and gold sequins. I didn't have any puffy stickers, so I counterfieted them by die cutting some foam with words dies.
And some close-ups:

Since my table was still ful with beautiful papers and embellishments, and I just couldn't put them back, I've made an Add-ons kit:

I'm not sure I will actually use all of the content of my kit this month, but I had so much fun gathering it and I will sure try to use up as much as possible.
I'm already working on a project, using this kit, so please stay tuned...
