You're amazing - a CAS snowy card

Today I would like to share with you a CAS card I've made.

I was inspired by the photo at Less Is More challenge blog:

I took the colors of kraft, red and b/w, and also the tied twine.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:

For the main element I used a snowflake die, and I die cut the white cs 3 times, to give some dimension.

A few scored line and a sentiment, and for the final touch I adhered a red sequin to the middle of the snowflake.

The kraft panel was adhered to a red cs basis.

Simple card, yet very elegant, don't you think?

I will give it to a very dear friend, along with a beautiful handmade gift. I think she'll like it.

Winter sun - CSI case file no. 343

I've been MIA for very long time, due to some health issues, but was able to make this layout for CSI Case File no. 343:

I used all 5 colors from the scheme. For my evidence I used: woodgrain background, winter-themed embellishments, snowflakes, lacing, string, wood, trees, hearts, tringles, chevrons and grid design (the blue paper for the matting has a gentle grid pattern).

I documented a boat sailing in Nantes, two years ago. It was freezing on the boat, but the winter sun poped here and there, and warmed us a little.

Here're some close-ups on the details:

Hello, First Grade

Is it September already?! this year is just flying...
Anyway, a new month means a new challenge at CSI - case file no. 330:
This is how I solved this case file:
I used all 5 colors;
From the evidence I used: text patterns, school-themed elements, clips, washi tape, gold, bows, sequins and hearts.
The photo if of my eldest, on his first day at school, but the journaling is from today's point of view, as he graduated school last July!
The title says: Hello, Frist Grade!
Here're some close-ups:
Some school-themed elements -

The clips are either chipboards or stamps:

Circles and Dots for a Thank You card

A CAS Thank You card for 3 challenges:
Just Add Ink #514 color challenge:
The 3rd challenge is from a local Facebook group, which asked for dots.
I stamped the circles and adhered a grey baker's twine and matted it all on a light grey cardstock.
Then I adhered it on a polka dots pp, added the sentiment and put the panel on a white cardstock card basis.
I love this combination of circles and dots. What do you think?

A CAS ombre birthday card

Crafting, in these not-so-easy times, is my therapy, like many other crafters around the globe.
The springy color palette of green and yeallow, with a touch of brown, makes my heart sing :), so I made this card for 4 challenges:
I went on a subtle palette of the greens and yeallow, and made the ombre main panel, using Bonjour Butter flat spray, Lucious Lime magical from the Caribbean Cruise magical set, and Frosty Forest Green shimmer spray.

Childhood Hero - CSI no. 312

Happy March 1st to all! it's time for a new challenge at CSI - case file 312, with this awesome inspiration photo:
The colors of the inspiration photo screamed 'Disneyland', so I used two photos that were taken on our visit to Disneyland Paris on April 2016.
Winnie the Pooh was my eldest's childhood here. He just loved it so much, and went with his big puppet everywhere, and even went to sleep with it by his side on bed.
Naturally, we went to meet Winnie on our visit and took many photos with him.
I used all 5 colors from the scheme. For the eviedence I used: tone-on-tone patterns, wood (the arrow wood veneer), stripes, dots, checker pattern, speach bublles, stars, flair badage and stitching (faux).
My testimony is about how awesome and adorable was my son with his Winnie the Pooh.
I used Laura Whitaker's sketch for My Creative Scrapbook:
I used two photos, and for the third one on the sketch I just added stickers.
Here're some close-ups on the details:

A CAS birthday card

It's cold and rainy outside, and winter is here...
It  goes with the new color palette at The Paper Girls challenge 192:
I used CAS(E) This Sketch #355 (which is a retro one):
For the colored rectangle I used Lindy's Gang sprays (Tiffanylou Blue and Afternoon Delight Denim).
I colored a piece of white cs with TH distress ink (Wild Honey) and then die cut feathers and stars.
A little bow with baker's twine, a sentiment stamped with Versafine ink (Majestic Blue), some silver Robin's Nest drops - and my card is ready.
It also goes for the 'Use a Die' challenge at Happy Little Stampers:
