Find your balance - CSI case file no. 316

A 2nd layout for the Corona days... it's my DT layout for CSI case file no. 316, only I'm a little late for the reveal... here's the inspiration photo with the 'clues':
I used all 5 colors in th scheme. From the clues I used chevrons, tirangles, clouds, flowers, leaves, branches, butterflies, gold (gold embossing over a stencil in the background), stamps, scallops and 'rain drops' for the weather-realated element.
My jouranling is about our new 'everyday', the new routine, how I need to find my balance everyday from the begining, in a state of social distance. A very challenging period.

The colors went so well with the April challenge at Lindy's blog, teal, purple and pink:
Lindy's products that I used-
Starburst sprays: Azure Sea Asters, Hi Maintenance Magenta, Sweet Violet Purple Teal.
Shaker - Time Travel Teal.

I loved how you can play around with one product and get different shades of the color, only by adding water. So purple and pink were both from the purple shimmers - from the bold to the mute shades.

This layout was also inspired by April challenge at More Than Words - Everyday plus Bugs/birds:
We have a new 'everyday' now, not like we used to have. At this chaotic and challenging period, every day I need to find my balance from the begining, remember to breathe, relax. I often do this when I walk with my dog in the early mornings.

Here're some close-ups on the details:

I wish you all good health.

A different spring - my April Counterfeit Kit

Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog has a beautiful Cocoa Daisy kits to counterfeit this month - Orchard Path kits. Here's the inspiration kit (part of it, as Cocoa Daisy has many kits in for this line):
Being home dew to the Corona Virus, I have plenty time to craft, so I joined the challenge!
I named my kit 'A different Spring', as this spring is really so different, and with the inspiration of  The 4 Questions we ask at Passover Seder, which was last night. Every Seder we ask 'Why is this night different from all nights?'. This time it had an additional meaning, as we all celebrated the holiday applying social distance, apposed to our usual habbit, which is to celebrate the Passover with the whole family.

As always, when I make my counterfeit kit, I start with the colors: apple green, pale pink, blush pink, mango orange, peach, coral, grey, pale blue, some gold black and a touch of red.
Then comes the patterns: floral, stripes, chevrons, scattered dots, lace circles in squares, plaid, scales.
Here're the 12X12 papers in my kit:
I have here Carta Bella, Altair Art, DCWV and Echo Park. The scattered dots paper is foil gold, but it doesn't show in the photo.
I wanted to use up more of my 6x8 & 6x6 papers:
Papers are from Simple Storeis, Carta Bella, WhiteRus.
Another goal was to use up scraps, large enough for matting, cards and making more embellies:

I added stickers, enamel dots (lots of them..), chipboards, Prima's flowers, washi tapes and AAll & Create stamp set:
Last, but certainly  not the least, are my counterfeited items. There are so many embellishment in the kits, but what my eys were drawn to was the large golden clip with the peach ribbon bow, and that was the first item to counterfeit. I also made some 'chipboard' circles, labels, tabs, floral embellishmet and lots of butterflies:
And here's again the full kit:
I'm looking forward to using my kit!

A birthday card in bloom

This month colors at Lindy's Gang blog catched my eyes - so springy!
I decided to make a birthday card and use Lindy's product as water colors
I stamped AAll stamp with Ranger's archival ink and started painting it using Lindy's products:
For the flowers I used Flat Magical Pineapple paradise from the Caribbean Cruise set.
The buds were painted with Guten Tag Teal shaker and for the leaves I used Lucious Lime flat magical from the Caribbean Cruise set.
The final touch was some splatters with Drop Dead Gorgeous Green starburst spray.
Here're some close-ups:

I would like to enter it also for the following challenges:

Congratulations - a CAS spring card

It's cold and rainy outside and it makes me unhappy, so a spring card is something that can cheer me up.
Cas on Sunday 174 has a wonderful and cheerful color challenge:
I stamped AALL & Create stamp on a watercolor page, then colored with a waterpen the flowers with Lindy's Bonjour Butter flat spray and Pineapple Pardasie magical. The leaves were colored with Luscious Lime magical and the stamens with Sassy Sapphire starbust spray.
I colored the white panel with Tilt a Wheel Teal flat spray, stamped the sentiment with Ranger's Vivid Chartruse archival ink and adhered the fussy cut flower.
For the final touch I added some green dew drops. Their transparency add so much to the card, don't you think?
It also goes for the CAS challenge at Krafty Chicks;

A CAS birthday card, with beautiful color combo, from Color Throwdown 580:
The card base is dark gray cs, and I used pale gray pp and green pp (both Lemoncraft). The sentiment was stamped on 75 Studio paper, and I added baker's twine and dew drops.
I also goes for the 'Let it Grow' challenge at Global Design Porject 227:
