Autumn - a mixed media layout

We've had some strong thunderstorms with rain, and it's quite unsual here to have that strong thunderstorms. On the other hand, it's very hot too.  Autumn, anyone?
So no wonder my new layout is all about autumn. The photos of my youngest, were taken 5 years ago, on a stroll we had in a lovely place, and as you can see, it was all autumn around.
I was inspired by the fab moodboard at Mixed Media Place:
I took inspiration from the autumn photos - the acorns, the mashroom, the falling leaves.
I must say, this layout was a Lindy's festive for me. I used so many of thier products to achieve the colors I wantd for my layout.
I started by tearing some of the papers and distressing the edges with TH Tea Dye distress ink. Then I  layered the papers and splattered with Oktoberfest Orange shaker and Antique Bronze shaker:
I stamped with 49 and Market stamp (Pascale writing), using Ranger's Coffee archival ink here and there:

For the redish-brwon leaves, I mixed some Lindy's shakers: Aged Copper, Antique Bronze, Autumn Maple Crimson, Cowabunga Copper and Oktober Orange. I added from each shaker till I got the right color I wantd. Then I die cut the leaves.
For the brownish-orange leave, I mixed Lindy's flat sprays: Luscious Lime, Queen of Hearts Red and Mango Mania I also added Yellow Rose of Texas starburst spray. I made sure to color both sides of my watercolor paper, and die cut another shapes of leaves.
As for the mesh die cut, it started as an experiment for a previous project (which you can see HERE) - I used the same ebmossing powder, Terra Cotta Rust, once on a white cs, and then on a black cs. In the previous project I ended up using the one on the white cs, as the other one was too dark for that project:
I was left with the darker version and when I worked on this layout, I thought it's a perfect match:
I really like the different looks of using Lindy's products on white or black background.
I adhered the photos and made two clusters, using Petaloo flowers with my diy leaves.
On the clusters I splattered Lindy's Grag a Guy Gold spray, to get the gold look:

I just LOVE how it turned out!
I finished up with sparkly alphas and enamel dots:

A mixed media birthday card - Lindy's Stamp Gang

Winner of the Autumn moodboard
Continuing with the autumn mood, I've created a birthday card, using Lindy's Stamp Gang products, along with Finnabair's products.
I used papers and embellishments from my October Counterfeit Kit (7 Dots Studio pp, Lemoncraft pp, Prima flowers, Petallo flower, sequins, Robin's Nest's dew drops, DIY enamel dots).
I started applying Finnabair's clear gesso all over the 7 Dots Studio pp, then I used Finabbair modeling paste over a foliage stencil.
After all was dried, I stamped leaves and foliage stamps (one from 7 Dots Studios, and the other I don't know the manufactor) with Ranger's black Archival ink.
I colored the masking areas with 2 LSG sprays - Go Greased Lightinin Green and Summer Lovin Sun, to get the lime color. With this combination I also colored the swirl die cuts.
The other leaves were colored with a combination of two other LSG sprays - Buccaneer Bronze and Mango Mania.
Then I adhered some microbeads with Finnabair matte gel, and some Prima's & Petaloo's flowers (after adding Finnabair's white gesso on them).
This is how it looked in the process:
Later I added some sequins, DIY enamel dots and Robin's Nest dew drops.
I added Finnabair's Art Alchemy Sparks Acrylic Paint - Ginger Magic on the flowers and the edges of the sentiment block.
Topping with splatters of LSG Sidewalk Chalk and the lime green sprays combination.
The sentiment was heat embossed, and so was the flower next to the sentiment.
Here are some close-ups:

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
Lindy's Stamp Gang October challenge:
I was inspired by the leaves and the orange and green colors.
Mixed Media World - mixed media with a twist - glass or something that imitate glass (the Robin's Nest dew drops are transparent).
Dies R Us - leaves (I used two metal dies: Cheery Lynn's mini fanciful flourish and Die-Namites Large Ivy).

A DT layout I've made for the current challenge at Stuck?! Sketches, with this awesome sketch by Laura Whitaker:
I've used my October Counterfeit Kit, and went a little crazy with the mixed media background.
I've used Finnabair's products and Lindy's Stamp Gang mists. The circle chipboard under the photo and the pp layers is Creative Embellishments.
I enjoyed making this lo very much.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

Back 2 School - case file no. 138 at CSI

A new case file at CSI, case file #138:
I used a photo of mine, taken on my 3rd year at the University, studing hard for an exam.
I used Sept. sketch from C'est Magnifique:
My clues to solve the case were:
Scheme - all colors are here.
Evidence - woodgrain (one of the pink papers), grid pattern, damask (stamped in brown on the background, so it can hardly be seen, and on the hidden tag in the envelope), envelope, tape measure, a tag, numbers, buttons, triangles, paint and loops.
Testimony - on a tag, tucked inside the brown envelope, and it reads: "At the end of October 2014, I will return to school :), I'm going to start my Master's degree study at the university, more than 20 years after I graduated my Bachelor's degree :).  I'm about to finish my degree in one calendar year. studying is a little tight - twice a week, while I'm still working full time job, and it's far from home. I'm excited and worried at the same time. September 2014".
All papers are from Fancy Pants (mostly from 'Collecting Moments' collection), and so are the envelopes, flair button, stickers, buttons, cork arrow and the clock die-cut. the flowers are Petaloo's. the flourishes chipboards are from Creative Embellishments, and they're one of my most fav chipboards from this manufacturer, so this page goes for their Sept. challenge. I coated the chipboards with gesso, and painted them with TH distress stain and distress ink, and used Stampendous embossing powder. stamps are American Crafts' and Kaisercraft's. I also used TCW stencil and I colored the modeling paste with LGS magical.
Here are some close-ups on the details:
