Winter sun - CSI case file no. 343

I've been MIA for very long time, due to some health issues, but was able to make this layout for CSI Case File no. 343:

I used all 5 colors from the scheme. For my evidence I used: woodgrain background, winter-themed embellishments, snowflakes, lacing, string, wood, trees, hearts, tringles, chevrons and grid design (the blue paper for the matting has a gentle grid pattern).

I documented a boat sailing in Nantes, two years ago. It was freezing on the boat, but the winter sun poped here and there, and warmed us a little.

Here're some close-ups on the details:

Childhood Hero - CSI no. 312

Happy March 1st to all! it's time for a new challenge at CSI - case file 312, with this awesome inspiration photo:
The colors of the inspiration photo screamed 'Disneyland', so I used two photos that were taken on our visit to Disneyland Paris on April 2016.
Winnie the Pooh was my eldest's childhood here. He just loved it so much, and went with his big puppet everywhere, and even went to sleep with it by his side on bed.
Naturally, we went to meet Winnie on our visit and took many photos with him.
I used all 5 colors from the scheme. For the eviedence I used: tone-on-tone patterns, wood (the arrow wood veneer), stripes, dots, checker pattern, speach bublles, stars, flair badage and stitching (faux).
My testimony is about how awesome and adorable was my son with his Winnie the Pooh.
I used Laura Whitaker's sketch for My Creative Scrapbook:
I used two photos, and for the third one on the sketch I just added stickers.

Piles of Smiles - Sketches in Thyme

Another layout done with my November Counterfeit kit, and it's the last layout with this kit. I really used my kit a lot this month, and I'm so happy about it!

And a minute before Autumn is leaving us, and Winter is coming, I've made a fall layout.

I used sketch #398 from Sketches In Thyme:
My photos were too large for 3 in one layout, so I used only two, and my title is rather small, comparing to the title in the sketch, but that's how it goes with sketches - a starting point....

It also my 2nd entry for the challenge at Creative Embellishments, with this beautiful moodboard:
For the twist of using wood, I used both wood veneers and wood feathers (these are CE ones). This time I took inspiration from the left upper photo, with the subtle tones.

Here're some close-ups on the details:

Just Coffee

The falling leaves, the cooler days and nights, all are screaming for somthing warm and cozy, and drinking coffee with a good friend is so perfect.
I used my November Counterfeited kit for this layout.
I used 1st sketch from Sketches in Thyme:

I was inspired by several challenges:
13@rts, with this beautiful moodboard:
I was mainly inspired by the 2 photos on the right and left corner on the bottom - the beautiful blanket and the table.
13@rts products that I've used are:
Ayeeda mists - pearl brown light, chalk yeallow amber and pearl old gold;
Rainbow color - brown;
Alice in Cancyland stickers.
The 2nd challenge was Mixed Media Place, again with a beautiful autumnly moodboard:
I was inspired by the colors: different shades of brown and cream, orange, yellow and gold.
The 3rd challenge is the soft and suble moodboard from Creative Embellishments:
I was inspired by the colors of brown, cream, gray and yellow/gold. For the twist of wood, I used heart and arrow wood veneer.

My November Counterfeit Kit

I loved the inspiration kit for November at Counterfeit KIt Challenge blog, with a very beautiful color palette.
The inspiration kit is from a Dutch club:
I used Lisa's tip to use Coolors.Co to play with the colors, and this is what I came up with:
And this is my kit, first papers side A (along with solid cardstock in coordinating colors):
Papers side B:
I love the houses and the coffee cup to go images, and especially the watercolor strocks paper, so I counterfeited them. I played with Lindy's Gang products and made my a paper with strocks of the kit colors. I stamped a house stamp, and colored it with the same colors I already made, as for the coffee cups, I found this digital stamp, and then playes on my pc with the colors:
Finally - the embellishments:

Lots of buttons, some wood veneer embellies, stickers, alphas stickers, flair buttons and chipboards.
I didn't include flowers, stamps and enemal dots, as I will use them enyway as I make my projects.
I love my kit and hope to use it as much a posiibble!

Shabby or Rusty - As you like it... May Counterfeit Kit

When I saw inspiration kit for this month at Counterfeit kit challenge blog, I thought I'd skip it this month. This kit is totally far away my style and my stash.
The inspiration kit is April 2018 kit from Mind the Scrap:
See what I mean? totally not me. But if you know me, nothing I love more than a good challenge!
So I used 'Just the gist of it' post from Counterfeit kit blog, and marked what I was attracted to in the inspiration kit:
Colors - different shades of pink, teal, gold, dark blue, bright pale blue, yellow, dark purplish brown.
Patterns - circles, stripes, polka dots, woodgrain, gold foil, multi-colors elements.
Embellishments - light bulbs (the first element I was attracted to!), flowers clusters, icecream scoops, black script words on a white background, gold elements, glittery alphas, gold sequins (I forgot to add some to my kit, but will use them later!).

So with these guidlines, I dived into my scrappy goodies and came up with my OWN version of kit. As it's a mix of shabby chic style and some rusty style, I named it 'Shabby or Rusty - As you like it':
A mix of American and Europian companies - 13@rts, 7 Studios, Lemoncraft, Simple Stories, Echo Park, kind of eclectic, don't you think?
I wanted to use some of the non 12x12 papers I have, so I've added some 8x8 papers and 6x6 pads (Lemoncraft and 75 Studio):
As for the embellishments, I've grabbed 3(!) ephemera packs...
The 1st one is with 6x4 and 4x3 cards from Push collection by Simple Stories, plus two big patterned envelopes from Fancy Pants, with colors and elements that match my guidlines:
The 2 nd emphemera pack contain bits & pieces:
Did you notice my counterfeited elements? I stamped a light bulb over some shiny papers, and fussy cut them. I also used some of my words dies to cut words and backed them on a white cardstock and then fussy cut them:
The 3rd pack is from 13@rts, and it has some lovely element that I can use for layouts and/or cards:
As for my alphas, I took some long forgotten glittery alphas, both in English and in Hebrew, along with some glittery numbers foam stickers:
Lastly, I add stickers from 13@rts. they're simply great to use, as they're black on a transparent background:
Thinking of what my starting point was, I guess I managed to build a pretty big and beautiful kit :).
Now it's time to use it!

Thank you for visiting my blog and I really appreciate any comment you care to leave me.

A Postcard from Paris - February Counterfiet Kit

I'm playing again with the Counterfeit Kit Challenge. The inspiration kit for this month is 'Weekend in Paris' by Noel Mignon:
It's a very rich and luxurious kit, jam packed with lots of beautiful pp and embellishments, all in soft colors.
I have ton of photos from our journey to Paris, so the theme was perfect for me. I named my kit 'A Postcard from Paris'.
At first, I thought it's going to be a tough mission for me to counterfeit this kit, but let me take you through my process.
The first thing I was attracted to was the black/white bows, so I made 1 large bow and 2 small ones:
Then I picked the cardstocks, in matching colors to the inspiration kit.
The next stage was going through my endless pp, and I just couldn't stop adding more and more beautiful papers.
I just got my DT package from Altair Art, and it is full of beautiful papers! So naturally I've put some to these papers to my kit. I added 7 Dots Studio papers, Prima papers, Lemoncraft papers, and Blue Fern Studios papers.
So this is how the papers in my kit look:
Now it was the alphas turn, but I couldn't resist adding some 6x6 pp too, once again from Altair Art and 7 Dots Studio:
Then came the fun part - gathering the embellishments!
Lace, flowers, flair buttons, crystals, die cuts, Robin's Nest dew drops, wood embellishments, pom pom trims, crochet flowers, baker's twine, washi tapes, DIY enamel dots, resin embellishments, chipboards, rub-ons, stickers, and gold sequins. I didn't have any puffy stickers, so I counterfieted them by die cutting some foam with words dies.
And some close-ups:

Since my table was still ful with beautiful papers and embellishments, and I just couldn't put them back, I've made an Add-ons kit:

I'm not sure I will actually use all of the content of my kit this month, but I had so much fun gathering it and I will sure try to use up as much as possible.
I'm already working on a project, using this kit, so please stay tuned...
