A wedding mini album

 

אלבום חתונה, לזוג שהתחתן באמצע המלחמה, כששניהם משרתים בצבא, בקבע ובצו 8.

השתמשתי בהדרכה הנהדרת הזאת כדי לבנות את האלבום, אבל עשיתי כמה שינויים והתאמות (למשל, הוספתי מפל שלא נמצא בהדרכה המקורית, ומעטפה עם נפח להכניס מזכרות וברכות).

האלבום בנוי בצורה של פולדר מצד אחד, כי כל הקונסטרוקציה של שלושת הדפים היא על הכריכה האחורית, ולא על השדרה.  מצד שני, המראה שלו הוא לגמרי של אלבום, עם כיסים, מעטפות ודיפדוף.

גודל האלבום הוא 8.5X8.5 אינץ' (מידות חיצוניות), הוא בנוי מצ'יפבורד ועטוף בנייר אפלין.

יש בו מקום לכ-30 תמונות, כמעט כולן בגודל סטנדרטי (15X10 ס"מ).

השתמשתי בסטאק היפהפה הזה של אושרת קורן. זה סטאק קלאסי לאלבום חתונה, עם ניחוח וינטאג'י משובח, אליו הוספתי גם דיסטרוס של כל הדפים המדוגמים עם דיו דיסטרס.

בסטאק יש גם כרטיסיות וכיתובים, בהם השתמשתי ביד רחבה ונדיבה, והוספתי גם כמה החתמות בעברית ובאנגלית, ,שתואמות את האירוע.

בצד הימני, שני פלאפים רוחביים שמכסים חלקית אחד את השני, נפתחים עם מקום לתמונות:

בצד השמאלי, שוב שני פלאפים שעולים חלקית זה על זה, הפעם אורכיים. על אחד הפלאפים הוספתי ריבוע שמאפשר להכניס מאחוריו עוד כרטיסיה, עם מקום לתמונה מאחוריה. הפלאפים נפתחים עם  מקום לתמונות נוספות:

בצד הימני, שני כיסים, עם כרטיסיה וספרון - מקום  לתמונות:

בצד השמאלי, כיס ובתוכו מעטפה עם נפח, בתוכה הכנסתי עוד חיתוכים מהסטאק, כדי שהזוג יוכלו להדביק בנוסף, וגם יוכלו להכניס במעטפה מזכרות וברכות:

כריכה אחורית, עם כיס קטן עם שקף, בתוכו הכנסתי כרטיס ברכה:

את האלבום הכנתי כמתנה לזוג שכלל לא הכרתי, כי התרגשתי מאד מסיפור החתונה שלהם. 

את התמונות הם ישבצו בעצמם.

האלבום נמסר לכלה הטריה, ושתינו התרגשנו מאד :).

I {heart} you with a tag - cas card

 A cas card, with color combo that was a little challenging for me, but I really like how it turned out.

I had this journaling card for ages, from a 12x12 journaling page, in pink-purple colors. These colors are far away from my comfort zone.

As soon as I saw the challene at Inspire. Create challenge blog, with a not so usual color combo, I new this journaling card is perfect for the challenge!

The sentiment on the card says in Hebrew: "I {heart} you".

I die cut a stitched scalloped tag from a textured yellow cardstock. I trimmed the journaling card to fit and adhered it on the tag. I added some punched flowers in matching colors, and added glitter enamel dots in the center of the flowers.

I matted with pale blue cardstock and adhered to the basis.

Thank you for all you do - a card with scalloped banners

 

This 'Thank You' card is the 3rd 'pay it forward' card I've made (you can see the 1st and the 2nd), this time in yellow tones, with some kraft.

I die cut nesting scalloped banners and adhered them on the pp (which had a big white banner in the middle).

I really love the 'Thank You' font! so whimsical (Doodlebug design 'many thanks' stamps).

A heart full of thanks card

This is my 2nd card today, and also 2nd in the 'pay it forward' cards I'm making (you can see the 1st one HERE).

The pp had a big white heart, and I die cut a smaller heart in the middle of that white heart, and matted the pp with a mango cardstock.

From the die cut heart, I die cut a smaller heart, and inked it with distress oxide ink (saltwater taffy), and stamped the sentiment in the middle (it says Thank You! in Hebrew).

I adhered the small heart to the middle of the bigger heart with foam tape, and added some mat enamel dots in mango color, to match the inside of the heart.

I followed, loosely, the sketch from My Favorite Things challenge, replacing the hexagon with the heart:

A 'pay it forward' thank you card

 Along with my latest purchase, the dear shop owner gifted me with some 12x12 journaling cards pages.

I felt so grateful for this lovely gift, and decided to 'pay it forward'. The shop owner operates a 'happy cards' donation to a hospital. The cards can be with any sentiment, and they'll be given to both patients and staff. Isn't it just a lovely thing to do?

For the first card, I stamped some leaves in dark bluish gray (weathered wood distress oxied ink), and other with dried marigold distress oxide. I then stamped tiny leaves here and there, with aged mahogany distress ink, and used the same ink for the sentiment (Thanks in Hebrew).

I then distressed the edges with this redish ink and placed the panel on a white basis.

I used orange, apricot, dark red and dark bluish gray.

I used the middle vertical row - patterned paper, leaves (as my choise) and circles. I have the sentiment stamp I think for more than 5 years, and the leaves stamps are about 2 years old.

A notebook folder in blue and green

 

A good friend got a promotion and a new position at work, so I made her a notebook folder, using my September counterfeit kit.

On this one, I went for the colors of blue and green, with a little touch of yellow.

I just love this denim blue pp!

Measurments are 8.75" X 6.5" X 1".

On the right side there is an envelope style pocket. 

On the right panel I made some stacked pockets for notes etc. Inside the pocket she can save bigger papers.

I placed a 3 subjects notebook in a pocket on the left side. When she finish the big notebook, she would be able to replace it with another.

As the spine is soft, without chipboard, it can be folded, which makes it much more convenient while writing.

A flowery Good Luck card

Today's card was inspired by the beautiful sketch at Freshly Made Sketches:

For my project I used scraps from my September Counterfeit Kit, after using it for 3 other projects I made earlier, with dies and stamps.

The dp is from 'New Spring' collection, made by a local designer.

The sentiment says, in Hebrew: Good Luck, using a die set by Tanya Sol, also a local designer. The card was made for a friend who got a promotion at work and starting a new position there.

I will give her the card along with a handmade folder I made, which I will share later.

Mazal Tov card with hearts

 A CAS card that can be used for many occasions, but with the hearts looks great for a wedding or anniversary ocassion.

No stampin, using only cs, pp, dies/punches.
