Sending WAVES of birthday wishes - Guest Designer for More Than Words

Last February I was the winner of the mini challenge at More Than Words challenge blog (you can see my card HERE), so I was very honored when the ladies from MTF asked me to be their Guest Designer for May mini challenge.

The Special Guest post.

The challenge is to use the word 'Wave' on your card, tag or atc.

When I saw Mintay Papers 'Marina' collection in my stash, I just had to use them. Such a beautiful collection!

I went back to my former style of multi layers, vintage and distressed look.

It also goes for the color challenge at Just Us Girls:

A steampunk birthday card

The minute I saw the new challenge at Just Us Girls, I loved the colors:

I used simmilar colors a few times lately - HERE and HERE.

I thought these colors can be perfect for a masculine card. After all, masculine cards are always in need.

I also took inspiration from the sketch at Just Add Ink:

My take is a little loose one, but I think you can still see it in my card.

I die cut the gears frame and colored it with TH's distress inks (vintage photo, peacock feathers and spiced marmalade).

I also die cut the sentiment and colored it with TH's distress ink vintage photo, to match the frame.

It also goes for Little Red Wagon, which asked for Masculine.

Best Wishes with a wintery scene

Hello dear crafty friends!

I made this card for the current challenge at Less Is More, which asked for a silhouette:

To make my background, I did some ink blending with TH ditress inks - Dusty Concord, Faded Jeans and Black Soot.

I sprinkled some white Lindy's Gang mist and stamped the sentiment in Hero Arts Navy ink.

It also goes for the following challenges:

Birthday wishes with autumn leaves

A winner at Just Add Ink

I hope you're not fed up with autumn leaves and colors... I really love autumn colors.

I was inspired by the challenge at Just Add Ink, with this beautiful photo:

The colors, the dewdrops, the leaves...

I stamped some leaves on the white cs basis, and then added some die cut leaves, that I colored with distress inks. I really loved the dewdrops on the leaves, so I added some on mine too.

Thanks for dropping by!

Enjoy the journey - CTD + CASology

I loved the colors of this week's challenge at The Color Throwdown so much, that I've made another card using turqouise, brown and kraft (you can see the first card I made HERE).

This time I went on much subtle hues of these colors, using TH distress inks for the background. I then stamped the urban skyline in brown, and the sentiment in turqouise.

I inked the edges of the pannel with TH distres ink in dark brown, and adhered it on a kraft basis.

It also goes for the 'View' challenge at CASology and the CAS 'one layer' challenge at Happy Little Stampers.

You are Amazing - Less Is More 453

Happy Friday! The current challenge at Less Is More asked for the colors of
purple and yellow:

A typical combinaion for Halloween, but I don't celebrate this holiday.

Still I was challenged by this color combo. I believe the time I spent thinking about this card, took me more than making it!

I used vanilla cs for the basis, and masked two flowers in TH distress inks - wilted violet and dusty concord.

The mask I used was from die cutting the same flower, and the die cut one I colored again with TH distress ink, this time scattered straw.

The sentiment is from Altenew set, and I used Hero Arts ink - orchis.

For the final tuch, I made a small bow from two thred in the matching colors and adhered it to the bottom of the yellow flower, and attched the flowe on top of the inked flowers.

A leafy cas birthday card

A cas birthday card made for some web challenges.

I started by inking the upper portion of the basis with TH peeled paint distress ink, following the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches #441:

I kept the lines by masking tape. Then I stamped leaves, in different shapes and many orange hues and green hues, following the challenge at Color Hues #27, which asked for orange and green only:

I outlined the design with two thin stripes, in dark green cs.

The sentiment says, in Hebrew: Happy Birthday, and was stampped with orang ink, while the edges of the stripe was distressed with green ink.

I was also inspired by the inspiration photo at Cookie Challenge #161:

Follow your heart - a card for Color Throwdown

A card, again clean & simple, for the current challenge at Color Throwdown #601:
I must admit - the colors combo was a bit challenging for me, not my colors combo, but the photo inspiration was so beautiful and the DT's works gave so much inspiration, so I had to give it a try.
For the 'brush storkes' I used distress inks, and for the sentiment and the small spots - archival ink.

A memo notes holder

My final project using 'Farm Life' collection by Mintay Papers is a memo notes holder.
You can see my previous projects using this beautiful papers: Self closing gift bag, Countryside style box, Birthday card and a Paper cup.
All of them were given to a very good friend of mine, and she was thrilled.
To make this memo notes holder, I used Yael Youtzis' tutorial.
For the base I used heavy whieght cs, and then decorated with the pp.
I would like to submit it to the challenge at The Paper Players, which asked for 'Fun & Fancy Folds' paper project:

A countryside style birthday card

Happy Independence Day to all my American friends!

I made a birthday card, in a countryside style, to match the previous projects I made with this beautiful Mintay Papers 'Farm Life' collection (you can see them HERE and HERE).

I used the fantastic sketch provided this week at CAS(E) This Sketch #379:

Farmhouse style box

When I saw Keren's tutorial for this box, I knew I just have to give it a try.
I used Mintay Papers 'Farm House' collection, and put inside some small cards, with inspirational and encouragements sayings.

The recipient will be able to change between the cards, as they're attached with a scotch dots.
A close-up on the details, fussy cut from one of the papers:

Self closing gift bag

I made this self closing gift bag for  a triangles challenge that runs in a local Facebook group.
I used kraft cs for the base and Mintay Papers dp for docorating.
I distressed all edges, both ot the cs and the dp.
As you can see, it has triangles all over:
It measures 5" hight and 4" width. The base is 2" square.
I also dcorated the inside lid:
