Farmhouse style box

When I saw Keren's tutorial for this box, I knew I just have to give it a try.
I used Mintay Papers 'Farm House' collection, and put inside some small cards, with inspirational and encouragements sayings.

The recipient will be able to change between the cards, as they're attached with a scotch dots.

Self closing gift bag

I made this self closing gift bag for  a triangles challenge that runs in a local Facebook group.
I used kraft cs for the base and Mintay Papers dp for docorating.
I distressed all edges, both ot the cs and the dp.
As you can see, it has triangles all over:
It measures 5" hight and 4" width. The base is 2" square.
I also dcorated the inside lid:

A monochromatic gift box for a baby boy - Alratir Art September challenge

At Altair Art blog we have a new challenge for September - 'Monochrome', which means you need to create something with only 1 color plus white/grey/black:

I've made a gift box for a baby boy, who just turned 1 year!
Naturally, I used blue as my main color, with the addition of white and grey.
I embellished it with some stars die cuts, enamel dots and dew drops.
Here're some close-ups on the details:

An altered appointment calendar with a box - for Altair Art

Happy Friday to you all!
Today it's my turn on Altair Art blog, and I'm sharing with you an altered appointment calendar I've made for a good friend of mine, and I also made a box for it.
Usually, I don't do 'clean & simple' style, but this time I wanted to make something different and also I knew my friend would take this calendar with her everywhere in her bag, so I made it without 3D embellieshments.
I rapped it with white paper and then added layers of beautiful Altair Art papers, a doily and a heart die cut (using beautiful dies and Altair Art papers). I only added a few enamel dots to highlight and my friend's name and the year (Jewish year).

With the box, I also kept it clean & simple. I made the box from a heavy weight white cardstock, and decorated it with Altair Art paper, again a doily and a sentiment die cut, a few enamal dots, a fussy cut of a butterfly, and a satin ribbon.
