Looking like an airplane

Another page in my youngest's 'first year' album, this time when he was 8 months old. The way his hands and legs were in the air - just like an airplane! LOL and that is  the title, in Hebrew.

I used #58 sketch from Sketches In Thyme:

I went on autumn colors, as they fit my baby's toy on the photo :). If you wonder what are all those towels behind him on the photo... well, it's laundry of course! there was (and is) always laundry to do...LOL

I used a little glimmer mist and a lot of layers and distressing. I just love the felt border and flower! Here are some close-ups:

בוקר יצירה משותף עם בחברה משובחת, הניב את הדף הזה. דף נוסף באלבום (הכמעט מסתיים) של השנה הראשונה בחייו של צעיר הבנים. בתמונה הוא בתנוחת 'אווירון', שמח ועליז מול 'מגרש המשחקים' הביתי. אגב, הצבעים של הצעצוע הזה, היוו את נקודת המוצא לבחירת הדפים המדוגמים. הוספתי גם  בורדר ופרח - שניהם עשויים מבד לבד, סרט ואותיות של 'תוצרת הארץ'.

וכמובן - שכבות ודיסטרסינג, וקצת התזות של גלימר מיסט. 

כדי לאזן, אני עובדת על דף במראה אחר לגמרי, אם כי לא 'נקי ופשוט'. שילוב צבעים מאד לא שגרתי אצלי, שהיווה לי אתגר רציני. אני מקווה שאוכל להעלות את הדף החדש (גם הוא באלבום של צעיר הבנים) מחר או בקרוב מאד.

This is my take on #177 sketch from Creative Scrappers:

The photo is of my eldest with his BFF, when they where 6 months old. They're still best buddies :).

I used one of my fav color combo - brown/kraft/cream/blue. 

I made the felt flowers my self, as well as the bling. Here are some close-ups:

On the belly

A photo of my youngest, when he was 10 months old, crawling on his belly, on the ground. Look at his hat! you've gotta love it! :)))

I used the lovely sketch, designed by Debbie, from Artful Delight:

I used cs & dp from different manufacturers: Bazzill, October Afternoon, Webster's Pages, Little Yellow Bicycle, Summer Seeds by Tzruya Ilan. I used a big doily and some buttons from my stash, and I also made some felt embellishments - the flowers in the right corner and the semi-circle on the left one.

דף נוסף לאלבום של צעיר הבנים, הפעם עם תמונה שלו כבן 10 חודשים, זוחל על הגחון, על האדמה החשופה בשפך הקישון.

השתמשתי בקארדסטוק של Bazzill וניירות מדוגמים מכמה יצרנים - October Afternoon, Little Yellow Bicycle, Webster's Pages ומקיט 'זרעי קיץ' של צרויה אילן.

את פרחי הלבד הכנתי בעצמי, וכך גם את הקישוט של חצי עיגול בצד. הוספתי דוילי גדולה וכפתורים מהאוסף הפרטי. האותיות של הכותרת הן 'תוצרת הארץ' של רחלי גזית ו'מסטיקים'. כותרות המשנה הן אותיות מתגרדות  של 'עירית'.

A Touch Of Black

This is my take on this week's sketch at Sketchy Thursdays:

I changed the arangement of the squares so they overlap each other, to mimic a tower builed from toy cubes. To give a little twist from the square look, I added the round felt flower. The photo is of my eldest, about 4 months old. He loved those fabric cubes, with the different texture. It was one of his birth presents.

Sorry for the bad photo. In real the background cs is more yellowish, but I just couldn't get a proper photo, no matter how much I tried, in different times of the day.

For the squares I used some scraps of dp - BasicGrey, October Afternoon & Cosmo Cricket. The cs is Bazzill.

I really like the handstitched frame and the black matting of the squaers.

דף מעוצב נוסף באלבום של הבכור, עם תמונה שלו כבן 4 חודשים, משחק עם קוביות בד. הוא מאד אהב את הקוביות הללו, אותן קיבל כאחת ממתנות הלידה. המרקמים השונים של הבדים, החלונות של "קוקו", הציורים - פשוט משחק אידיאלי. אחת ההנאות הגדולות שלו היו לראות איך מגדל הקוביות מתמוטט בנגיעה אחת. אפשר היה לחזור על המשחק הזה שוב ושוב, אינספור פעמים.

ניצלתי שאריות של דפים מדוגמים מפרוייקטים קודמים כדי ליצור את הריבועים (BasicGrey, October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket), ומיקמתי אותם אחד על השני (בשונה מהסקיצה), כדי לחקות את מגדל הקוביות. למראה הריבועי, הוספתי גם מסגרת של תפירה כפולה ביד. כדי לשבור מעט את המראה הריבועי, הוספתי את הפרח מבד לבד עם כפתורים. האותיות הן 'תוצרת הארץ' של רחלי גזית ומסטיקים (גם הדפים המדוגמים ממסטיקים).

A vacation at Alanya - lo

Here's my lo, , with my photo on a vacation at Alanya (Turkey), about 17 years ago......

I used Bazzill cs, and some leftovers dp (Fancy Pants & Little Bicycle). I also used a clock stamp (Inkadinkado), hand stitching, felt flower and chipboard (I don't remeber where from) and BG circle die-cut).

דף קיצי חדש שלי, עם תמונה שלי מחופשה באלניה (תורכיה), מלפני 14 שנים...

השתמשתי בקארדסטוק של Bazzill (מסטיקים), שאריות דפים מדוגמים - Fancy Pants (המשובץ - my punch), ו-Yellow Bycicle (מסטיקים). אותיות של 'תוצרת הארץ' (גם כן מסטיקים), ושילבתי גם כמה אותיות באנגלית. תפירה ביד, חותמת של שעון (Inkadinkado, מסטיקים), צ'יפבורד מביג דיל, חיתוך של BG ופרח לבד עם בלינג גדול.

התמונה הקטנה היא של דף קיצי נוסף שהכנתי ואותו אעלה גם כן בקרוב....

Little Red Riding Hood - lo כיפה אדומה

It's Friday again, and it's time for a new challenge at Frosted Designs, and at Simply create!

The challenge at Frosted Designs is Monochromatic (and we have a sponsor  and the challenge at Simply create is "Give your heart away"!

At Frosted Designs we're also having a sponsor for this week's challenge - Craft Your Passion, and I used one of Lauretta's digital stamps - Little Red Riding Hood, which was perfect for my own photos from age 4 or 5, dressed as Little Red Riding Hood!! :))

And since I scrapped those photos, it was easy to make the lo monochromatic - all in red and redish shades and with some neutrals (white and grey, and I'll get to that GREY part... ).

I used #39 sketch from sketchabilities, but I've made it my own by turning it into a multi-photos lo:

Once again I made a vintage multi-layers layout, with lots of embellishments - lace, ribbons, heart brads, felt heart, and flowers.

I've done this lo also for the challenge my bloggy friend, Tesa, gave me - use grey, use lace/ribbons, use at least 3 photos. Well, I must say I was not too pleased with the grey part, but I did playes by Tesa's rules - the cs is grey and there're also some grey shades on the crumpled dp.

דף אלבום שהכנתי כ-DT job בשני בלוגים: Frosted Designs לאתגר מונוכרומטי וב-Simply Create, שם האתגר הוא להשתמש בלבבות.

שוב במראה הוינטאג'י, השאבי-שיק, עם הרבה שכבות והרבה קישוטים. בדף הזה השתמשתי בתחרה, סרט נקודות, פרחים שונים, סיכות מתפצלות ולבד. וכמובן - הרבה יישון של הדפים. האותיות הן של "תוצרת הארץ" (אמרתי כבר שאני מכורה להן? פשוט מדהימות! גם יפות, גם נוחות, גם במחיר סביר. עכשיו רק נשאר לחכות לעוד גוונים שיצאו, כמו גווני ירוק שונים, כתום, קרם וסגול).

BFF - lo

It's Friday again!!!! and it means a new challenge at Frosted Designs. This week we ask you to distress your creations. I just love distressing! It's my no.1 favorite technique.

On this lo I used a lot of distressing - the edges of the pp, of the photo and of the dp underneath the photo (BG and K&Co.), the doilies, the butterflies.

I used the sketch from creative scrappers, this week's challenge at Sketches In Thyme (yep! I combined my two DT's jobs... LOL). Here's the sketch:

 

The flower was made of fabric and covered with green stickles, and was layered on a felt flower. The letters of the title are also felt.

The photo is of my BF and me. We're friends for over 20 years, ever since we met at the university. Our friendship is one of the best things in my life, which I'm very thankful for.

Little Wonders, Free Like A Bird - lo חופשי כציפור

That afternoon we spent at the beach 2 months ago, was so great. We've been to the beach many times, but still that particular afternoon goes with me as a memory of magical hours, our little wonders. And so the song "Little wonders", the inspiration for this week over Scrap it with a song, was so perfect for scrapping this photo.

The photo is of my eldest, runnig with his arms wide open, free like a bird (and that is the title in hebrew).

I used the sketch from Stuck?!:

Look at those felt birdies on the branch:

I hand cut them my self. Aren't they lovely? The branch is a Unity stamp and I used acrylic paint to stamp it. Stamping with acrylic paint gives a different look than using ink. I love it.

I'm entering it also for 'all winged things' - #123 flutterby wednesday; anything but a card - #38 stampin royalty; #24 crafty ann; monochromatic - lots to do; distressing - abc. עוד תמונה בסדרת תמונות שצילמתי באחה"צ קסום אותו בילינו לפני כחודשיים בחוף הים בפלמחים. אותו אחה"צ חקוק בזכרוני כשעות קסומות, וזה השתלב עם האתגר של השראה משיר - Little wonders.

הפוזה של הבן הבכור שלי, עם זרועות פרושות כאילו הוא ציפור, השתלבה לי עם ציפורים, וכך גזרתי מלבד ציפורים, החתמתי עם חותמת של יוניטי ענף עם צבע אקרילי ושירבטתי את הרגליים של הציפורים. האותיות הן מקסם שימושי.

This lo is for the sketch challenge over Sketches in Thyme. I really liked this sketch, cause I like sketches where the photos are placed diagonally.

I've had a very stressful week, and I really didn't have the time, engergy and muse to scrap. But I'm so happy that finally I did made it on time.

The photos were taken on November 2007 at a place called Tel Dan reserve, and there is a tree that was burned, so you can crawl inside and climbe out at it's top. That exactly what we did... Oh, and the name that was given to this tree is "The tree of Winnie the Pooh!

For the title, I used different types of letters, some of them glittered, some are stickers, and some are rub-ons.

זו תמונה שלי ביום ההולדת הרביעי שלי בגן.

השתמשתי במפיות תחרה (למסיכה ולמאטינג של התמונה), אותיות מלבד, פרחי פרימה, פרחי קרושה, פרחים מסרט משי, סרטים, תחרה, כפתורים, פנינים וסיכות מתפצלות.

ההחתמות האדומות נעשו עם צבע אקרילי בעזרת תחתית של בקבוק קטן ופקק שעם של בקבוק יין.

Brother Bear lo אחי הדוב

The photo of my kids was taken on last year Pessavor vacation, at the Biblical zoo in Jerusalem.

At practical scrappers they've asked: ""Behind Closed Cupboards". Here at Practical SCrappers, we would like you to open those kitchen and bathroom cabinets/cupboards and see what items you can find to use on a project". So I used sterile pad that was inked with blue ink for the "clouds", and I used an old toothbrush to splash some acrylic paint over the cs.

I made the tree out from felt, using the digi stamp from Simple Doodles. I hand stitched it all around and stitched buttons.

The fence was made of small popsicle sticks, painted with acrylic paint, and for the "grass" I used feathers.

And yes, once again my crochet flower, with a flower button on top.

The title says, naturally, "Brother Bear" :). This came to me the minute I saw the photo, with my kids riding that cutie bear.

התמונה הזאת צולמה בפסח שנה שעברה, בגן החיות התנ"כי בירושלים. לצערי לא הצלחתי לצלם את הדף עם תאורה מתאימה (וניסיתי גם בשעות אחה"צ, גם בתאורה פנים ביתית), כך שהצבעים לא עוברים בצילום טוב כפי שהם מופיעים במציאות.

השתמשתי במברשת שיניים ישנה כדי להשפריץ צבע תכלת על הקארדסטוק הירקרק ואיתה גם 'לכלכתי' את שוליו. את 'העננים' יצרתי מפד סטרילי אותו העברתי בדיו כחול.

העץ נוצר מבד לבד עם תפירה ביד מסביב.

את הגדר הכנתי ממקלות קטנים של ארטיק, אותם צבעתי בצבע אקרילי, ומתחת הדבקתי נוצות ירוקות למראה של 'דשא'.

הציפורים הקטנות מוסיפות הרבה חן בעיני, ופרח הקרושה (כזכור - האובססיה החדשה שלי :)) נותן השלמה בפינה הנגדית לעננים, ובכלל הדף הזה מצא חן בעיני בגלל ה'סצינה' שנוצרה בו. אהבתי גם את שילוב הצבעים שלו - מאד 'גברי'.

האותיות מ'קסם שימושי' שהודבקו על סרט אורגנזה חום, והכותרת פשוט קפצה לי לראש למראה הילדים שלי רוכבים על הדביבון החמוד הזה.
