Just for You - a mixed media card

A mixed media card, in a way CAS.

I used the Fussy Navel Peach spray with a sponge over a TCW feathers stencil, fussy cut the feathers and tied them with a twine. The pale pink flower's petals were colored with the Rasperry Lemonade spray. I added splatters of the Raspberry Lemonade spray and Opal Sea Oats spray.
The sentiment (Dovcrafts) was stamped with VersaFine Toffee ink.
Than I adhered the pannel on a kraft cardstock basis.
This card also goes for the current challenge at Mixed Media Place, with this beautiful mood board:
I was inspired by the warm colors of pink, coral and brown/kraft  and by the big letters on the  love tag and flowers.
Another challenge I would like to enter this card is at Less is More blog, which asked for 'More (but still CAS).
I added lots of splatters here :).

Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments very much.

A handsome guy - Scrap The Boys

Honourable mention at Scrap The Boys

Scrap The boys blog has a wonderful moodboard for this month:
The minute I saw it, I knew I wanted to play along. The mix of blue and green is just fab.
I used lots of scraps for this one - Basic Grey, Echo Park, 7 Dots Studio, K & Co., Crate Paper.
For the background I used mostly 13@rts mediums, plus stamps from Prima, 7 Dots Studio and Blue Fern Studio. I also use TCW stencils and TH distress ink.
I really love the messy background, and the colors go perfectly with my boy's photo.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

Happy Hanukkah - Stuck?! Sketches December 15th reveal

Today I want to share with you my DT layout for Stuck?! Sketches mid December reveal.
This is the sketch we've been working with:

It's the middle of Hanukkah, so what is more appropriate to scrap than a Hanukkah Lamp tour we did a few years ago?
Walking through the narrow streets in the old city of Jerusalem, watching the bright and warm candle lights in every window and doorstep, was  really spectacular.
I flipped the sketch upside down, as I didn't want the Christmas tree look for my layout, and this is what I came up with:
In this layout, I tried to catch and mimic the warmth and light, in contradiction to the darkness outside.
I've used Echo Park dp and embellishments, mainly from 'The story of fall' collection. I really love the colors of all fall collections from Echo Park.
For making the golden triangle frame, I worked with modeling paste over TCW stencil, and then I sprinkled Lindy's Gang embossing powder (angel wings gold) and embossed it with a heating gun.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

Thank you for visiting my blog and I really appreciate your comments.
I wish all of you happy holidays. May joy and happiness be in your homes and hearts.

Dare to Dream - Stuck?! Sketches Nov. 15th reveal (Blue Fern Studios & Lindy's Stamp Gang)

I love working with Blue Fern Studio papers, not only they're so beautiful, but they're heavy weight. As I was in a girly girl mood, I decided to work with BFS products and some beautiful Lindy's Gang mists to make my DT layout for Nov. 15 reveal at Stuck?! Sketches. I really love the shabby chic look of my layout.
Here's the sketch to work with, made by Laura Whitaker:
I've started with covering the  BFS paper (Love Story/ The Grand Ball) with clear gesso, then I worked with a modeling paste over TCW stencil. After it was dry, I stamped with some BFS stamps (Halftone, Dreamy), and IBS and Maya Road stamp, using Ranger's black archival ink.
Now was the time for some misting... I used Lindy's Stamp Gang products: Cotton Candy Pink, Delphinium Turquoise and Pop Rock Purple.
Matting the photo with BFS papers (Blush/ Devoted; Sanctuary/ Calling Cards), ading a stamped title (BFS /Dreamy), and some sentiments from TH chit chat, matted on a BFS paper (Timeless/ Song).
Decorating with Cheery Lynn Design die (English Tea Party), Prima flowers, metal rose, lace from my stash and microbeads). Topping all with some deluted white gesso, and that's it - finished!
Here are some close-ups:

I would like to enter this layout to the following challenges:
Moodboard at Off the Railsscrapbooking - I was inspired by the feminine feeling and the colors of the moodboard.
The vintage and shabby chic mood board at Mixed Media Place:
I was inspired by the pastel colors and the shabby chic look, as well as the colors, of the shabby chic moodboard.
Challenge YOURself asked for their challenge to use sprays/inks and to include a photo of ourselves:
I used lots of sprays and inks here and this is me in the photo :).
Country View Challenges, which asked to use stencils. I used TCW stencil on the background.

Dream (live full the life you have imagined) - Stuck?! Sept 15th reveal

A new sketch at Stuck?! Sketches, and I was really inspired by this sketch, though my take on it is a little different from the original sketch.
Here's the sketch:
And this is my take on it:
As you can see, I didn't use multi-photos, but instead of the rectangles in the original sketch, I used diamond  chipboards (Creative Embellishments) as an accent to the photo I used.
This lo is full of mixed media techniques and mediums - gesso, stencils, masking and misting, modeling paste, stamping, embossing, etc.
I was inspired by two challenges - the challenge at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo for September, with the theme of 'Imagine':
I tried to give a dreamy look and feeling to my page. I strongly believe that setting one's imagination free, dreaming, is aSn essential part of a healthy soal. building castles in the sand, which is what my boy was doing when I took this photo, is one of the ways to set your imagination free.
The other challenge I was inspired by is the September moodboard at Sassy Scrappers:
Isn't this moodboard just gorgeous? I was inspired by the colors, the beach theme and the distressing look. I tried to mimic the sand look with the embossing powder, and I added some stamped shells.
I would also like to enter it to September's challenge at Creative Embellishments, which is to use a fav CE products. I just LOVE their chippies, and can't have enough of them :). and it also goes for the 'Summer Memories' challenge at Stampendous, and I used some of their gorgeous embossing powders.

Door hanger

I've made a door hanger for my office, to hang when I'm at a meeting. the background is in a mixed media style, while the flowers were cut from felt. I love the contradiction between the two parts, plus I got to use some of my hoarded felt :).
To make the flowers I used Die-namics dies, in different sizes.
I would like to enter it to the flower challenge at Craft Hoarders Anonymous, for their 'All pretty flowers' challenge.
For the colors I was very inspired by September moodboard at Sassy Scrapper:
I loved this moodboard so much, that I've made another project, inspired by this moodboard, to be revealed in a couple of days ;-).
