A notebook folder with a fox

A notebook folder made for a woman who loves atumun colors.

The size of the folder is 9"X7" and it has a soft spine sizes 1.25".

The covers are from chipboards, while the spine is from kraftex, so the covers can be twisted fully, for more convenience while writing in the notebook inside.

On the rigtht side there's an envelope to store bigger papers, invoices, etc.:

On one of the envelope's covers there are stacked pockets for notes etc.

On the left side, there's a big pocket, where a 2 subjects notebook is insereted. I added 10 tabs on the notebook, as this woman is starting a new project, with some milstones.

The notebook can be replaced with a new one.

And that's how the outside covers look like:

Sending WAVES of birthday wishes - Guest Designer for More Than Words

Last February I was the winner of the mini challenge at More Than Words challenge blog (you can see my card HERE), so I was very honored when the ladies from MTF asked me to be their Guest Designer for May mini challenge.

The Special Guest post.

The challenge is to use the word 'Wave' on your card, tag or atc.

When I saw Mintay Papers 'Marina' collection in my stash, I just had to use them. Such a beautiful collection!

I went back to my former style of multi layers, vintage and distressed look.

It also goes for the color challenge at Just Us Girls:

Featured at Little Red Wagon

A quick card I made for several challenges:

Time Out - 'In love':

The Card Concept - photo inspiration:

I was inspired by the flowers, the b/w strips and some of the colors, to make this clean and layered card.

A CAS card in pink

 Happy Friday!

CAS card usually means lots of 'white space', but it doesn't have to be only in white color!

As long as you keep your card uncluttered, minimum layers and embellishments - you can use any color you like.

And so I did with this card.

I used the colors from Global Project Design #317, which asked for pink, blue and mint:

The design follows the sketch from CAS Colour & Sketches #445:

I stamped the rose flower in some pink hues and then fusy cut it. The leaves were die cut from a water color paper, that first was sprayed with Lindy's Gang Mad Hatter Mint shimmer mist.

I die cut the stitched and scalloped banner from a blue dp, that has like white light spray on it.

I adhered it to the PINK cs basis, and on it I adhered the flower with the leaves. A few translucent 3-d drops and my card is done!

I'm still not sure for what occasion I'll be using this card - a birthday, an anniversary, a good luck card, etc., so I didn't add any sentiment at the moment.

A flowery card - Color Throwdown 662

Happy Saturday!

I made this card for the color challenge at Color Throwdown #662, which asked for green, orange, purple and kraft:

I stamped a flower in orange, some leaves in green and some butterflies in purple - and then fussy cut them.

The orange flower was mounted on a kraft paper and fuusy cut again, so there's a tiny kraft edge around the flower.

I double scored the edges of the white cs pannel, and aranged the different elements and added some glittery kraft enamel dots.

Once finished, the pannel was adhered to a white cs basis, and my card was done!

I'm not sure for what occasion I want it to be, so I left it without any sentiment. I'll add one, once I decide for what occasion I'll give it.

An autumn thank you card - Guest Designer at Color ThrowDown no. 659

I was honored to be invited as a Guest Designer at Color ThrowDown #659 challenge:

At first I felt this color combo is very challenging me, but then I just started with stamping the orange flowers, with red center spots, and went on with stamping the purple leaves, and I was stunned by the outcome! I really love it!

It has such an autumnal feeling!

I stamped kind of a small red flowers wreath around the flowers and leaves assembling, add a 'Thank You' sentiement, matted on a red cs.

I mounted the white cs with a red basis cs, and that's my card!

It goes for the 'Nature' challenge at Addicted for Cas:

It also goes for the 'Stamp It' challenge at Simonsays Stamps Monday challenge.

Thank you, CTD ladies, for inviting my to be your Guest Designer!

And thank you all for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments very much.

An all occasions card - FMS #487 plus CTD #644

Hi everyone, I'm back with a clean & simple card.

I loved the color scheme provided by Color Throwdown #644 - black, gray and yeallo:

I paired this color challenge with the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches #487:

The daisies and the leaves were stamped and then fussy cut. A sentiment and some enamel dots in coordinating colors. I matted the main pannel with gray cs, and adhered it on the card base.

Dare to Dream -playing with colors for Kraft +

I really liked the August inspiration moodboard at Kraft +:
Amazing colors and the DT outdid their selves with loads of inspiration.
I decided to make a card. At first I thought of a flowery card, but I ended up with a rather masculine one...
I used two different inks on the gears stamp, creating a gardient look, then stamped on another kraft cs the winged gear in a teal ink, fussy cut it and adhered it a little under the sentiment (which is also matted on a kraft cs).
This is one of the things I really love about challenges - it makes me go out of my comfort zone, trying new colors combo this time.

Precious Memories (Platform 9-3/4)

Is it August already?! time flies....
The new case file (challenge) at CSI is all about traveling:
Although the inspiration photo was screaming 'Summer', my layout is rather Autumnly one, photos of my youngest taken at Platform 9-3/4 in Kings Cross station London.
We had such a blast there! We went to the shop after we've been to the Harry Potter's Studios and since we arrived to the studios a bit late, we didn't have time to shop there, so we went to the Harry Potter Shop!
While we were queuing, the shopper run a trivia test. My son knew all the answers and won a nice prize! Then we took our photos 'running' into the wall. It was so much fun!
I used all 5 colors from the scheme. For the evidence I used: stripes, grid pattern, gingham pattern, postcards, travel themed elements (I just LOVE this trunks stamp!), a clock, cursive font, a camera, a ribbon, vintage themed elements, borders (doodled border around) and triangles.
My journaling is about our visit there. I placed it on the tag, to be pulled with the ribbon.
I used Laura Whitaker's sketch for July sketch at MCS:
I love working with Laura's sketches!

Three colors and a flower - Less Is Simple meets AAA Cards

A CAS card I made for two challenges:
Less Is More #423 - asked for Fuchsia, Yeallo and Grey:
As the fuchsia is so vibrant, I went on soft and subtle hues of yeallo and grey.
I did some masking on the right bottom corner with yellow and then stamped some small spots with grey ink.
I stamped the flower in fuchsia and fussy cut it, and added some punched leaves in grey cs.
The 2nd challenge is AAA Cards #168:

I decided to leave the card with no sentiment, so it can fit to any occasion in the futre.
