A birthday card - Freshly Made Sketches + CAS Colours & Sketches

Today I would like to share with you a card I made following two challenges:

Freshly Made Sketches #530:

And CAS Colours & Sketches #464:

I used a pierced leaves die for the white cs, and matted it with a green cs. I stamped the flower in pink, the stem in green and the leaves in sage. I die cut all the parts and adhered them to the pierced panel. I added glittery enamel dots to the stem.

I adhered the panel to a sage/moss cs.

I stamped the sentiment on a white cs, matted with green, and both cut in an angle, for some interest.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comment are much appreciated.

A flowery birthday card (1)

I'm not much of a Valentine Day's card maker, and the colors of red/pink are so so Love themed, but I wanted to play with these colors (plus kfrat), so I made a birthday wishes card.

I die cut the background outline image twice - one from a dotted kraft dp, and the second from a dark red cs. I used the flower and leaves die also twice - from white cs and from pink cs. I really love how it turned out!

For the lighter shade of red, I stamped the sentiment with Hero Arts Pale Tomato ink on t a pink cs, that I first kind of embossed with dotted leaves die.

I matted the pink cs with dark red cs, and mounted it on a kraft cs basis.

Since I was left with some die cut left overs, I made a very similar card, playing differently with the colors. I will share with you the 2nd card later.

It goes for the following challenges:

The Color Throwdown - pink, red, cranberry and kraft:

Tic Tac Toe - I chose cas, pink and flowers:

AAA Birthday - pattern:

Another leafy Birthday Wishes card

Honorable Mention

The rain finaly came to Israel... so it means we're having a little bit of autumn! I love autumn colors, and this card is no exception.

I started with a dark green cs, and die cut in with a stitched woodgrain pattern. The same die I used for the white cs in the middle.

My sentiment was stamped directly on the white cs, with crimson ink.

I matted the white square with a dp in moss/sage color, and die cut along thin leaf from this dp.

I die cut two big leaves, one in crimson and one in yellow. I then adhered the 3 leaves on the white cs, and add a bow with tripple dark green twine.

The whole panel was adhered to a white cs basis.

I would like to enter it to the challenge at The Card Concept:

I was inspired by the colors of green and red, with a hint of yellow, to create my clean and layerd card.

It also goes for the 'Birthday' theme at Addicted to Stamp and More:

Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate your comments very much and wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Joy, with pine cones

One of the winners

Today I would like to share with you this rather CAS card, made for several challenges:

Time Out Challenges #201 - Simplicity:

Happy Little Stamppers - anything goes with dies:

I used a spotted die cut for the white panel. I adhered a dp strip for the wide strip in the sketch, and a thin stitched ribbon for the thin one.

I die cut the pine cones from a kraft cs, and inked it with distress ink (tea dye). The pine needles were cut with a die cut from a dark green cs, and the other leaves were cut from a sage dp.

I die cut the Joy word from the same dark green cs and adhered it with foam to the panel.

Once everything was in place, I adhered the panel to a green dark cs basis.
