You & Me - Sketchabilties #107

This is my 2nd post today.

A new sketch at Sketchabilities, and a fantastic one, as usual:

For this page, I used my Jan Counterfeit Kit. I really love my counterfeited pieces - the 'button sticker',  the wooden stars, the vellum arrows and the little blue star on the string. Here are some close-ups:

The layers under the photo are from Simple Stories 24/7 6X6 pad. The circle sticker for the title is from Echo Park 'Beautiful Life' collection. I also used some Studio Calico's heart wood veneer.

סקיצה חדשה ונהדרת ב-Sketchabilities, והשתמשתי בקיט החיקוי של חודש ינואר כדי להכין את הדף.

אני אוהבת את הקישוטונים שהכנתי בעצמי - כוכבי 'עץ', חיצים של וולום, 'סטיקר של כפתור' והכוכב המנצנץ על חוט מתכת.

נשמח לראות את הפרשנויות שלכן לסקיצה הנהדרת הזאת.

Let's Dance Together

Photos of me with my youngest, dancing together on a party he had for the ending of the 1st year at the daycare.

I used December 15th sketch from Get Creative:

y inspiration was case file #49 from CSI:

My clues to solve the case were:

Scheme - I used all 5 colors.

Evidence - numbers (on the background dp); stickers; buttons; baker's twine; ribbon; lace (the doilies and the envelope).

Testimony - my journaling is on a tag inside the envelope, and I wrote about the 1st year at the daycare, the ladies who took care of my son, etc.

9 pearls - frosted designs (I have 8 pink pearls on the envelope and one cream pearl on top of the felt flower).

דף עליז וצבעוני שהכנתי לאתגר המשולב ב-CSI. המעטפה בה השתמשתי במקור בצבע קראפט, וצבעתי אותה עם ג'סו וצבע אקרילי כדי להתאים לצבעי האתגר. השתמשתי בכמה דוילי'ס שנחתכו עם הביג שוט, חוט אופים, פנינים, כפתורים ופרח לבד. הדוילי'ס הגדולות נצבעו עם שני סוגים של דיו, כדי להגיע לגוון הרצוי.

שילוב הצבעים הזה הוא ממש לא השילוב שאני רגילה לעבוד איתו, וזה היופי באתגרים בכלל, ובאתגרים של CSI בפרט - הם מוציאים אותי מאזור הנוחות שלי.

התמונות, שלי רוקדת עם צעיר הבנים, צולמו במסיבת סוף השנה במעון, בסוף השנה הראשונה שלו שם.

דף נוסף מקיט החיקוי, הפעם עם תמונות מטיול שעשינו לפני כחודש לכרמל. כבר הכנתי שני דפי אלבום עם תמונות מהטיול ההוא, ועוד היד נטויה...

בדף הזה, בשונה משני הקודמים לו מקיט החיקוי, הצהוב פחות דומיננטי. הקיט הזה גורם לי להשתמש בצהוב כל כך הרבה, שבעתיד כבר לא אוכל לומר שזה צבע שאני כמעט שלא משתמשת בו... 

תוצאה מבורכת נוספת לאתגר של קיט החיקוי הוא שהוצאתי כמה מהדפים הזנוחים ביותר שלי, אלו שכל פעם שהסתכלתי עליהם בעבר, לא היה לי שמץ של מושג אם ואיך להשתמש בהם. כך גם הדף המדוגם בכחול ולבן המשמש כמאטינג לדף כולו. הדוגמא שעליו מאד חזקה וקשה היה לי להתחבר אליה, אבל כשזה רק כמסגרת לדף עצמו, הוא התאים לי מאד. מאחר שלא השתמשתי בכולו למאטינג, אלא גזרתי מתוכו את הריבוע הפנימי, אז נותרה שארית די גדולה ממנו. אולי במינון קטן יותר, על כרטיסים, הוא יראה לי יותר שמיש...

יש לי כמה וכמה תובנות מהאתגר של קיט החיקוי. אולי בסוף החודש, אקבץ אותן ביחד, לשמר לקחים שעזרו לי.
