You & Me - Sketchabilties #107

A new sketch at Sketchabilities, and a fantastic one, as usual:

For this page, I used my Jan Counterfeit Kit. I really love my counterfeited pieces - the 'button sticker',  the wooden stars, the vellum arrows and the little blue star on the string. Here are some close-ups:

The layers under the photo are from Simple Stories 24/7 6X6 pad. The circle sticker for the title is from Echo Park 'Beautiful Life' collection. I also used some Studio Calico's heart wood veneer.

סקיצה חדשה ונהדרת ב-Sketchabilities, והשתמשתי בקיט החיקוי של חודש ינואר כדי להכין את הדף.

אני אוהבת את הקישוטונים שהכנתי בעצמי - כוכבי 'עץ', חיצים של וולום, 'סטיקר של כפתור' והכוכב המנצנץ על חוט מתכת.

סקיצה חדשה ב-Stuck?! שאפשר לתת לה פירושים שונים, כפי שתוכלו לראות מעבודות צוות העיצוב השונות זו  מזו. בעוד כמה ימים אעלה פוסט 'מתחילה ועד סיום' על איך הכנתי את הדף הזה, ותוכלו להתרשם איך עובדים עם סקיצה, איך מיישמים עקרונות עיצוב שונים וכיוצ"ב.

Ready, Set, Go!

This week's case file at CSI had bold colors, with a whimsical image for inspiration. 

Here's case file #90:

I used Sept 15th sketch from Stuck?!:

The photos are of my youngest, getting ready to eat chocolate from a giant syringe at The Chocolate Bar, where we went for his birthday.

My clues to solve the case were:

Scheme - I used all 5 colors. by playing with the stamping and re-stamping the polka dots with distress ink (spiced marmalade), I managed to reach the two colors of orange. kind of ombre effect. I like it.

Eveidence - tie something, polka dots, kind of white space (at first I thought of a more 'white space' design, but finally I used 2 photos, so with the matting, it took more space on my page), 2 different alphabets, triangles, something transparent (vellum as photo matting and dew drops).

Testimony - I wrote my journaling on the hidden tag on a diary form, and tosd the story of going to the Chocolate Bar for my son's birthday, how excited he was about it, what he ordered and 5 fun facts about his endless love for chocolate.

דף שהכנתי לאתגר המשולב ב-CSI, והשתמשתי בסקיצה מ-Stuck?!. התמונות הן מהביקור הראשון (אך בהחלט לא האחרון...) שלנו בשוקולד בר של מקס ברנר בנמל ת"א, לכבוד יום ההולדת של צעיר הבנים לפני כשנה וחצי. הוא כל כך התרגש ושמח, והזמין לעצמו כמויות של מתוקים, כשגולת הכותרת הייתה מזרק שוקולד ענקי (את ההתנסות השניה שלו עם מזרק השוקולד (המשעשעת ביותר), תעדתי גם במיני אלבום על חופשת הקיץ של 2012 וגם בדף אחר).

for case file #56 at CSI

My 9th lo with my Jan Counterfeit Kit(!), made with the inspiration of case file #56 at CSI:

The photo is of my eldest at the seaside, 2.5 years ago. He really looks groovy :)).

The clues Iused to solve the case were:

Scheme - I used all 5 colors.

Evidence - clouds, string, somehting that dangles/hangs (the pompon trim), wet medium (I used Mr. Huey's mists), something translucent (vellum envelope as the matting of the photo, stick pin in the flower on the right lower part), plain cardstock background.

Testimony - my hidden journaling is on a tag that has a string, and it's tucked behind the vellum (translucent) envelope.

דף אוורירי וקיצי (באמצע החורף...) שהכנתי לאתגר המשולב ב-CSI, והשתמשתי בסקיצה של Creaitve Scrappers. מרבית החומרים בהם השתמשתי הם מקיט החיקוי של חודש ינואר, אם כי אלו כבר שאריות ובחלקן - שאריות של שאריות :))). הכפתורים המגניבים הם מזכיה טריה, והם נקראים flair buttons. גם זה קישוט טרנדי, שיש ממנו עכשיו בכל מקום בעולם הסקראפ.

המאטינג של התמונה הוא מעטפת וולום שהכנתי בעצמי, כשאת דוגמת הדוילי עשיתי עם הביג שוט ותבנית חיתוך של דוילי. 

הוספתי כמה השפרצות של Mr. Huey's, קרעי גאזה, עננים שהכנתי מפאנץ' של פרח ותפירה ידנית.

Warriors

This is my take on case file #43 at CSI:

My clues to solve the case were:
For the evidence: damask; something transparent (one of the flourishes is from vellum); flourishes, b/w patterned papers.
For the testimony: the jornaling is on a framed journal spot.
I used October's sketch from ScrapFriends:

I really enjoyed playing with the Mr. Huey's mists. they have such a wonderfl effect.
I alos played with my new toy, the Big Shot, and cut the flourishes(Sizzix Bigz) and the chickenwire (Cheery Lynn). I embossed gears (TH) on a plain white cs, and worked with distress inks and TA chalkboard mist. I love how it turned out.
I used 13 buttons (one of them is for the "O" in the title), and placed one of them on a bottle cup (for the challenge at ScrapItGirl)

הפעם קצת השתגעתי, לא? השפעות סביבתיות מובילות אותי, אט אט אך בבטחה, אל עבר מחוזות המיקס(ד) מדיה. בקיצור - יש לי על מי להטיל את האחריות: אש קטנה (וגם Mrs. G האגדתית מ-Xmix).

נהניתי מאד לשחק עם כמה וכמה מהרכישות החדשות שלי אצל Xmix - ספריי של Mr. Huey's, שבעיני הוא מוצלח יותר מאשר הגלימר מיסטים (אלא אם כן אתן לא יכולות בלי הניצנוץ). ההשפרצה שלו יפה יותר בעיני, וגם יותר נשלטת. תראו איזו התפוצצות של צבע ירוק יש בדף הזה... גם הצעצוע החדש, ביג שוט, עבד יפה על הדף הזה... הסלסולים (סיזיקס) ורשת הלולים (צ'ירי לין) נחתכו בעליזות, גם על דף וולום צהוב. קארדסטוק לבן עבר התעללות מסיבית כדי לשמש מאטינג: הבלטה של גלגלי שיניים, יישון עם שני צבעים שונים של דיו דיסטרס, שיוף (אח, אינגוילד, אינגוילד, מה היינו עושים בלעדי מכשירי ההשחתה שלך...), וריסוס בגלימר מיסט צהבהב, שנוגב עם מגבון לח. רק אז הייתי מרוצה ממה שיצא. תהליך יישון דומה, רק בלי ההבלטה, עברו גם שולי הדף.

האם העתיד טומן בחובו עבורי קנבסים עם נערות אנורקטיות וצבעים פסיכודליים? לא בטוח. אבל אין ספק שאני רק בתחילת הדרך בהתנסות עם המיקס(ד) מדיה, ועוד נכונו לי עלילות רבות....

Between Heaven to Earth - lo

This is my take on the lovely sketch from Creative Scrappers, sketch # 152:

The photo is of my eldest, 3.5 years ago, at a playground. The title says, in Hebrew: "Between Heaven to Earth". 

All dp are DCWV and the cs are Canson, stars embellishments are from my stash. I also used blue vellum as a matting. 

The tag for the title is recycled cloth tag, which I dressed with cs and doodled faux stitching with white gel pen.

דף מעוצב חדש לאתגר סקיצה. סקיצה פשוטה ולא עמוסה, שהתאימה לי לעיצוב מינימליסטי (יחסית לסגנון הרגיל שלי). הפשטות גם הביאה למהירות :). לקח לי מעט מאד זמן להכין את הדף הזה.

הדפים המעוצבים הם כולם DCWV והקארדסטוקים הם Canson. התגית של הכותרת היא מיחזור של תגית בגד, אותה ציפיתי בנייר ושירבטתי תיפורים עם עט ג'ל לבן. השתמשתי גם בוולום כחול, כדי לעמעם במקצת את דף הרקע המאד רועש. האותיות הן של "תוצרת הארץ".
