When my virtual friend, Val, invited to join in with Orange Paperie & Co. challenge, I went to see what it's all about, and saw a lovely sketch:

I wanted to join in but didn't find the time, with a very busy period at work and some family events. But finally I did find a time and could make this lo, on the last minute :).

I used Carta Bella's papers. The bright wide stripe was made with distress stains, distress inks, stamping and heat embossing, and cold embossing. The cogs are die-cuts with the Big Shot, and the stars were painted with white gel pen over TCW mask.

The photo is of my eldest, about 18 months ago, running in a botanical maze.

אהבתי מאד את הסקיצה הזאת  וידעתי בדיוק עם איזו תמונה אני רוצה לעבוד עליה, אבל הזמן... הזמן לא מצא את עצמו בהתאמה לרצונות שלי. בסוף הצלחתי להגניב גם את הדף הזה לאתגר, בדקה ה-90.

התמונה צולמה במבוך הצמחים בגן גורו לפני כשנה וחצי.

השתמשתי בדפים של Carta Bella, מהקולקציה הזאת. את הרצועה הבהירה במרכז הכנתי בעזרת distress stains, distress inks, החתמות עם אבקת אמבוסינג והבלטה קרה. גלגלי השיניים נחתכו בביג שוט בעזרת תבנית החיתוך הזאת, ונצבעו גם כן ב-distress stains.

Just Rolling Down

My take on September's challenge at White With 1. 3 photos of my boys, rolling down the hill at the Biblical Zoo. 

For the background I used several materials & techniques, including: distress stain, modeling paste, masking, heat embossing, washi tapes, distress ink. I also used Purple Pumpkin's flair buttons. I've made the polaroid style frames and embossed it.

דף שהכנתי לאתגר ב-White With 1, כשהצבע הנוסף הוא ירוק ומשתמשים גם בכפתורי מתכת.

את הרקע הכנתי משילוב של חומרים וטכניקות: דיסטרס סטין, דיו דיסטרס, הבלטה חמה עם UTEE שחור, וואשי טייפ, משחת עיצוב ומסיכה. את המסגרות פולארויד סטייל הכנתי בעצמי והבלטתי עם תבנית הבלטה של גלגלי שיניים. הוספתי כפתורי מתכת עם כוכבים לקישוט, ואת התאריך הוספתי עם הדיימו.

התמונות הן של הבנים,  מתגלגלים להנאתם שוב ושוב במורד גבעת דשא בגן החיות התנ"כי בירושלים.

Birthday Wishes - a card

A few days ago, I found out that my cards box is too empty, just when I need one for a birthday girl. So I decide to make some cards to fill my box.
