A butterflies 'thanks' card, in blue and brown

One of my all time fav color combo is blue hues and brown hues. Usully, it reminds me of seaside and sand, but this time I'm in the 'butterfly mood'...

I blended several TH's disress inks - Broken China, Faded Jeans and Peacock Feathers, on a textured white cs. I then die cut 4 stitched squares and mounted them with foam tape.

I stamped the butterfly twice, with Pink Fresh inks - Doe and Warm Buff, fussy cut them and adhered them partially overlapping each other, with foam tape. I then adhered the two of them on the bluish squares with foam tape.

Before adhering the squares and butterflies, I stamped the sentiment with Pink Presh ink Gathered Twigs.

I added a thin stripe of turquoise cs for more interest, and some translucent dots.

A steampunk birthday card

The minute I saw the new challenge at Just Us Girls, I loved the colors:

I used simmilar colors a few times lately - HERE and HERE.

I thought these colors can be perfect for a masculine card. After all, masculine cards are always in need.

I also took inspiration from the sketch at Just Add Ink:

My take is a little loose one, but I think you can still see it in my card.

I die cut the gears frame and colored it with TH's distress inks (vintage photo, peacock feathers and spiced marmalade).

I also die cut the sentiment and colored it with TH's distress ink vintage photo, to match the frame.

It also goes for Little Red Wagon, which asked for Masculine.

Bloom and Grow

Mini challenge Winner

Headliner at The Paper Players

TGIF!!! and how lovely that it's a sunny day here, so no wonder my card is a fluttery one.

I blended ink in colors following the challenge at The Paper Players:

I then stamped the butterflies and sentiment, die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die, die cut with the same die from a coordinating cs, just to pop a little behind the panel and adhered it to my white cs basis.

To finish up my card, I added some yellowish dew drops.

Love with flowers and leaves

Hello dear crafty friends!

Today I have for you a CAS card I made.

I played with some Lindy's sprays on a watercolor paper, in colors of green and blue. I then die cut the leaves branch (Memory Box) from that paper.

I wanted to give more subtle look to the branch, so I die cut one more branch from vellum. I adhered the colored branch on the card basis, and the vellum one ot top of the previous one.

I stamped and die cut the flowers in blue (Stampin' Up In Symetry), and adhered the flowers on top of the branch.

I die cut the 'love' word (unbranded) from shimmery gold cs and adhered it on top of the leave.

To finish up, I adhered some gold sequins.

It goes for the following challenges:

Square 'thanks' card with mushrooms

Here's a square 'thanks' card I made, in w/b and red.

Each mushroom was die cut 3 times - red, black and white cs.

I used my watercolor brush with black ink to make some background for the mushroom on a water color paper, and with the same ink, I stamped the sentiment.

I mounted the panel on a dark red cs, and adhered it to my white cs basis.

It goes for the following challenges:

Another pink/red/kraft birthday card

I had some leftovers die cuts from my previous card (HERE), so I made an identical card, using the design and colors, only this time the main color is white.

The color Throwdown:

Thank you for stopping by!

A flowery birthday card (1)

I'm not much of a Valentine Day's card maker, and the colors of red/pink are so so Love themed, but I wanted to play with these colors (plus kfrat), so I made a birthday wishes card.

I die cut the background outline image twice - one from a dotted kraft dp, and the second from a dark red cs. I used the flower and leaves die also twice - from white cs and from pink cs. I really love how it turned out!

For the lighter shade of red, I stamped the sentiment with Hero Arts Pale Tomato ink on t a pink cs, that I first kind of embossed with dotted leaves die.

I matted the pink cs with dark red cs, and mounted it on a kraft cs basis.

Since I was left with some die cut left overs, I made a very similar card, playing differently with the colors. I will share with you the 2nd card later.

It goes for the following challenges:

The Color Throwdown - pink, red, cranberry and kraft:

Tic Tac Toe - I chose cas, pink and flowers:

AAA Birthday - pattern:
