Three vases for a 'Mazal Tov' card

Happy Saturday dear crafty friends!

Today's card is in rather cool colors, inspired by the challenge at Color Throwdown, which asked for light blue, gray and brown:

I partially embossed a white panel, and grounded the vases on a brown cs stripe, which was also embossed in a woodgrain look, so the vases are standing on a wooden shelf.

From a light gray cs I die cut 3 vases, in different shapes (Sizzix Bigs Crockery), and partially distressed them with Distress Oxide 'tumbled glass'.

The vases were adhered on the woodgrain shelf with foam dots, and I added some pre-cut leaves in two brown hues and light blue.

The sentimen, 'Mazal Tov', is from some old letter stickers, in dark brown.

For the layout, I followed a sketch given in a local FB group:

Thanks for being you - a thanks card

One of the Top 3

Another Thanks card, with fall collrs.

I used distress oxide inks (festive berries, mustard seed and brushed corduroy) for the slplashes and the hollow leaves.

The splashes are SU and the sentiments are Duddlebug. The leaves dies are unbranded.

For the final touch, I added some glittery dots in coordinate colors.

The white panel was mounted with thin foam tapes on the kraft basis.

A BIG birthday wishes

A very BIG birthday wishes, in hues of blue and purple.

I used Concord and 9th dies - Perfect Pairing Birthday.

I blended some disress oxide inks to get the ombre effect - chipped sapphire, faded Jeans, tumbled glass, milled lavender, witted violet and dusty concord.

A vase full of orange blooms - a thank you card

One of the Top 3 for cards

I made the Cut Above

Today's card was inspired by some challenges:

First, the November challenge at PinkFresh Studio, with multi colors inspiration and lots of leaves, and the theme of 'Thanks':

I used PinkFresh Studio 'Floral Vase' stencils and dies set.

The vase was colored with some distress oxide inks in shades of light blue (speckled egg; tumbled glass; salty ocean). The leaves were also colored with distress oxide inks (shabby shutters; peeled paint). The floral bouquet was colored with PinkFresh ink cubes (clementine; persimmon).

After ink blending through the stencils, I die cut the vase and the bouquet with the coordinate dies, and adhered to the card base, where the bouquet was adhered using some foam dots.

The sentiment is from another PinkFresh Studio set, 'Seamless Starburst Circles'.

For the final touch, I added some clear dots on the vase, and some green glittery dots.

The other challenges are also about thanks and gratitude:

A Thank You card with seamless starburst circles

Since the terrible massacre that took place in south Israel on Oct. 7th, I had a creavite block. I just couldn't. Now, as the war is still going on, and the kidnapped children, women, men and elderly are still held by Hamas/ISIS, I'm trying slowly to find some comfort in crafting.

The current challenge at The Color Throwdown was a great way to help me getting over this creative block. So I'm very thankful for CTD's ladies for the inspiration.

The bright and cheerful colors inspired me to make a happy and cheerful 'Thank You' card. I was also inspired by the shape of the pillows in the inspiration photo.

I used Pinkfresh Studio Seamless Starburst Circles stamps and stencil set, with some distress oxide inks (kitsch flamingo, mustard seed, bundled sage and rusty hinge).

I also stamped and stenciled another circle, die cut the circle and backed it with more layers of circles, and then adhered it on top, for some dimension. On top of this circle I adhered a glittery enamel dot in rust hues.

A butterfly on a branch - birthday wishes

One of the weekly fav

Happy Saturday and Shanna Tova everybody!

We had a lovely family gathering yesterday evening, and I spent the morning making a new card, a birthday wishes card. I used scraps of cs, both for the die cuts and for the stamping, reducing the scraps pile!

I die cut the background blue branch, using SSS Clustered Leaves die, and then I die cut from a navy blue cs with SSS Detailed Clustered die, and layered it on the blue branch. I adhered the double branch to the white basis.

I stamped and die cut the butterfly, using MFT More Brilliant Butterflies stamps and dies set (on of my FAV!), with distress oxide inks (mutard seeds, squeezed lemonade and chipped sapphire).

I die cut a small flower and small circles from a yellow cs, adhered it to the branch and above all - adhered the butterfly with foam tape.

The sentiment (SU) was stamped over a yellow cs and adhered to the basis with foam tape.
