Stacked rectangles - a get well card

A masculine 'Get Well' card I made, using stacked triangels dies set.

I die cut 3 different sizes of triangels, from 6 solid cardstocks - 3 in blue tones and 3 in brown/earthly tones.

I then stacked the triangles one on the other, to one of the angles, mixing the colors.

I adhered the stacked triangles in a hexagon shape on a very pale blue cardstock, and added two layers of cardstock behind, so it will be raised a little.

The sentiment says in Hebrew: 'Feel better and a quick recovery'.

I made a simple knot from a twine and adhered it between the sentiment and the hexagon. It looks to me as it it's kind of mustache :).

The whole panel was adhered to a kraft basis.

It goes for these challenges:

A 'Get Well Soon' card, in warm colors

Honorable Mention at Fusion

On a local FB group, we make and donate cards for a hospital. Usually, there's no limitaion on the sentiment, but this time we were asked to make 'Get Well' cards.

I used the sketch, only the sketch, from Fusion Card Challenges:

I wanted my card to be with a warm scene, so I stamped the brush strokes in an orange palette. I then stamped over the brush strokes a sketched flower, tied a twine and added a few golden sequins. The sentiment is a sticker.

I was also inspired by the orange/brown cupcakes photo at Cupcake Inspiration:

Love you CAS card

Today I'd like to share with you a CAS Love You card I made, inspired by some challenges.

The white cardstock was scored with some vertical lines, then I die cut the heart shap, and mounted the gap with another white cs, that I first stamped with a distresed triangles stamp (49 and Market).

I die cut 3 hearts on a string, and colored the hearts in red, light pink and dark pink. The hearts were grouped and adhered to the panel. I added a bow from red twine, and in the middle I adhered sticky dot in grey.

Adding a stamped sentiment (Stampin' Up) and then matting the panel on a red cs, and adhering the white cs basis.

This card goes for the following challenges:

White on white cas card

A Top Cup at Sunday Stamps

Happy Saturday dear crafty friends!

Making a 'white on white' project can be very challenging, isn't it? embossing (cold or heated), dies, vellum, twine, enamel dots and dimentionals helped me make this 'white on white' card.

I'm not sure yet to what occasion I'll be using this card, wedding/ birthday/ anniversary, so I left it without a sentiment.

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:

Another leafy Birthday Wishes card

Honorable Mention

The rain finaly came to Israel... so it means we're having a little bit of autumn! I love autumn colors, and this card is no exception.

I started with a dark green cs, and die cut in with a stitched woodgrain pattern. The same die I used for the white cs in the middle.

My sentiment was stamped directly on the white cs, with crimson ink.

I matted the white square with a dp in moss/sage color, and die cut along thin leaf from this dp.

I die cut two big leaves, one in crimson and one in yellow. I then adhered the 3 leaves on the white cs, and add a bow with tripple dark green twine.

The whole panel was adhered to a white cs basis.

I would like to enter it to the challenge at The Card Concept:

I was inspired by the colors of green and red, with a hint of yellow, to create my clean and layerd card.

It also goes for the 'Birthday' theme at Addicted to Stamp and More:

Thanks - a recipe for neutrals

One of the FAV

On one hand, making cards in neutrals colors can be very challenging. On the other hand, these colors make a very elegant combination. And who doesn't love a card in neutrals colors?!

So I took inspiration from the challenge at As You See It challenge blog, whith a recipe for a neutrals card: to use an embossing folder, a ribbon or a twine, a die or a punch, one sentiment - and all that with neutrals:

I chose to work with the neutrals colors white, vanilla and kraft - for my cs, and brown ink for the sentiment.

I followed the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches #631:

The banners, the feathers and the tag - where cut with dies. The white stitched banner was embossed using dots embossing folder.

I tied a bow around all the feathers with a jute twine, which also was used to tie a knot on the tag.

A one sentiment 'thanks' was stamped on the tag, and I adhered it beneath the feathers.

It goes also for the 'thanks' challenges at SimonSays Monday challenge, and SimonSays Wednesday challenge.

Love with tags

I saw the current challenge at Colors Hues, and really loved it:

The color combo of red, kraft and white, just screams  'Christmas', but I don't celebrate this holiday, so I went on something completely different.

I didn't add any sentiment, as I have not decided yet for what occasion I'll be using this card....

One of the FAV at

Hello crafty friends and thank you for popping up at my blog.

Today I'm sharing a pile of autumn leaves for a 'thanks' card.

I really love the rich colors of this one!

I was inspired by the current challenge at Color Throwdown #663, where Broni asked for orange, brown and gray:

I started with a pale gray woodgrain dp, and made some splatters with brown, gold and orange Lindy's sprays.

I die cut 3 different leaves patterns from 4 different dp, and aranged them in a pile, overlapping each other.

I die cut 2 stitched tags, in 2 different sizes, one from gold cs and one from darker gray cs, stampped the setiment on the smaller tag, and tied a bow with both tags. I also adhered a brown leaf under the smaller tag.

Then I adhered the tags to the gray pannel with foam dots.

I matted the pannel with orange cs, and adhered to a dark gray card basis.

For the final touch, I added some golden sequins.

It alos goes for Tic Tac Toe challenge #134:

I took the middle row - leaves, Thanks and shades of brown.

A nautical masculine card

Masculine cards are a little challenging for me, but I'm very happy with this one. It's a CAS card, yet dramatic somehow.
I made it for a male colleague for his birthday.
It goes for the following challenges:
CASology - Tall:
I took the colors from the inspiration photo (red, blue and cream/kraft), and used them in their mute shadows. It's also a birthday card :).
AAA Cards game 159 - one corner with the twist of old supplies:
I used Piatek13's papers which I hoard for a very long time.
Simonsays Stamp Wednesday challenge - Add a sentiment. I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it with Lindy's Gang ep Gilded Burgundy Brass.

I made another project with these beautiful papers, which I will share with you in a day or two, so stay tuned....

Just for You - a mixed media card

A mixed media card, in a way CAS.

I used the Fussy Navel Peach spray with a sponge over a TCW feathers stencil, fussy cut the feathers and tied them with a twine. The pale pink flower's petals were colored with the Rasperry Lemonade spray. I added splatters of the Raspberry Lemonade spray and Opal Sea Oats spray.
The sentiment (Dovcrafts) was stamped with VersaFine Toffee ink.
Than I adhered the pannel on a kraft cardstock basis.
This card also goes for the current challenge at Mixed Media Place, with this beautiful mood board:
I was inspired by the warm colors of pink, coral and brown/kraft  and by the big letters on the  love tag and flowers.
Another challenge I would like to enter this card is at Less is More blog, which asked for 'More (but still CAS).
I added lots of splatters here :).

Be Yourself

Hello crafty friends, today I'm sharing a mixed media card I've made, inspired by two moodboards:
I was inspired by the dark shades against the crystal blue, and by the snow.
I was inspired by the sketch, the snow, and by the touch of purple.
I've used many 13@rts beautiful products - papers, stencil, clear gesso, violet mist, microsphere beeds and a sticker.
I also used Lindy's Gang Pure White embossing powder and some Finnabair's mini art stones.
Here're some close-ups on the details:
