Parisian Chic - CSI case file no. 265

I'm a little late with my lo for the new case file at CSI - case file no. 265, which has this beautiful inspiration photo:
This time I went free style, and not 'old school' as usual.
I was inspired by the colors in the inspiration photo and fashionable look on the whole, so I decided to use a photo (one of many) of a street lamp on one of the bridges over the Seinne in Paris.
Street lamps are one of my fav things, and I can take hundreds of photos of a single one LOL.
I did use some to the clues from the case file: checker pattern, frames, text print (hardly can be seen, but it is on the pale gray pp under the photo), arrows, metal, triangles, something ahiny and gold/silver accents.

All pp are Lemoncraft's from the Heart Painted collection.
I used Lindy's Gang products:
Chipboards are Creative Embellishments and Scrapiniec. I also used a Creative Embellishments' flair button (the other one is from StudioFourteen40).
For the final touch I splatter some mists and added enamel dots

Adventure - Kraft Plus Challenge

Hello dear friends! Today I want to share with you a lo I've made for November's challenge at Kraft Plus. The challenge was to 'Think Big'.
For my layout I've used my November Counterfeit Kit. Actually, I've used only one pp from the kit, the 'Border Stripes' from Echo Park 'Go, See, Explore' collection. The BIG title is one of the border stripes and the paper underneath my photos is the other side of the same paper.
For me, using multi-photos is a BIG thing. I hardly use more than 2 photos, and usually I use only one. This time I've used 4 photos, so showcase the movement of the scene.
I also used BIG amount of embellishments, I think I used more than half of the embellishment in my kit. I'm very proud of myself for that! some of the embellishments are handmade by me (the cork circles, the blue label, the two-colors hearts and the enamel dots). Using my stash means I will HAVE to buy some more LOL.
Here're some close-ups on the details:

And Here's a little sneak peek to a lo I will be posting in a cupple of days:

Me and you, and you and me, so happy together

My clues to solve the case were:
Sketch - done. I changed the place of the title, and made my journaling hidden, on the tag behind the layers.
Scheme- I've used all 5 colors.
Evidence - solid background, floral print (on the tags under the photo), flowers, string (baker's twine), wood, circles, washi tape.
Testimony - I've used the lyrics from 'So Happy Together' by the Turtles for my title, and my journaling is handwritten, and it says: "We've had a tremendous 5.5 days at London, just the two of us. I could be totally devoted to you, and make it up for you after such a complicated year we've been through."
I've used my Oct. counterfeit kit for making this lo.
I'm entering this lo also for the tic-tac-toe challenge at Scrap Our Stash. I've used the lower horizontal line: mini alphas, American Crafts (the solid cs), and die-cuts.

Family! that's the whole story - CSI case file no. 231

After a very long period of absence, it is so good to join again with CSI! Love, love, love the case files and the ton of inspiration by the DT and the special investigators.

The clues I used to solve this case were:
Scheme - I've used all 5 colors
Evidence - solid white cardstock, stripes, twine, panctuation marks, stars, hearts.
Testimony - my journaling tells what was (and still is) my source of power, which helped me go through when my boy was diagnosed with cancer and got the chymotherapy.
This is what I wrote: "The family support, the legacy we inherited from our parents, these are the things that helped us to deal with your cancer disease. The way they stood by us, the love and comfort they gave me, were the source of my power to go through that rough period we had."

Thank you for stopping by. Your comments ar much appreciated.

You Rock! - Stuck?! Dec 1st reveal

Hello everyone :), this is my 2nd post today (for my Scrap Africa reveal post, please click HERE), with my take on Stuck?! Sketches Dec 1st reveal.
Here's the sketch:
Usually, I don't scrap more than 2 photos at the most. this time I decided to challenge myself and used 4 photos of my oldest:
This time I decided to go on a more clean design, no messy mixed media style :).
For my lo I used some DCWV pp, some scraps from Echo Park, Simple Stories and Webster's Pages. I also used StudioFourteen40' flair buttons.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

We would LOVE to see your takes on this sketch, and don't forget Stuck?! is having a GDT call, so if you're interested, put GDT after your name :).

Warm and cosy

We have a new sketch for you at Scrap Africa, sketch #40:
Isn't it just an awesome sketch?
Here's my take on this sketch:
I used products from 7 Dots, Thoughts Keeper collection by the talented Olda Heldwein, that I got as a giveaway, thank you Tusia Lech for your generousity!
I used 12x12 pp no. 2, and papers from the 6x6 pad, stamps and stickers - all from that fab collection. and I would like to enter it to 7 Dots' challenge, which is 'Warm and Cosy, just like my youngest's photo, taken when he was just a baby. Here's the inspiration circle from the challenge:

I also used modeling paste with some Perfect Pearls over The Crafter's Workshop stencil, and some modeling paste over a doily stencil.
To go along with the warm and cosy theme, I also adhered felt flowers, made with Die-Namics dies. StudioFourteen40' flairs, splatters of mists, dew drops, micro beads, large rhinestones, sequins and die-cut doily - and my lo is finished.
There's a lot of 3-D in this lo, so it also goes fot the 3-D challenge, exercise #2 at the Mixed Media Place.
