A 'pay it forward' thank you card

Along with my latest purchase, the dear shop owner gifted me with some 12x12 journaling cards pages.

I felt so grateful for this lovely gift, and decided to 'pay it forward'. The shop owner operates a 'happy cards' donation to a hospital. The cards can be with any sentiment, and they'll be given to both patients and staff. Isn't it just a lovely thing to do?

For the first card, I stamped some leaves in dark bluish gray (weathered wood distress oxied ink), and other with dried marigold distress oxide. I then stamped tiny leaves here and there, with aged mahogany distress ink, and used the same ink for the sentiment (Thanks in Hebrew).

I then distressed the edges with this redish ink and placed the panel on a white basis.

One of the Top Cup

Challenges:

Sunday Stamps - use at least 3 colors from the inspiration photo:

I used orange, apricot, dark red and dark bluish gray.

Retro Rubber Challenge #216 - tic tac toe:

I used the middle vertical row - patterned paper, leaves (as my choise) and circles. I have the sentiment stamp I think for more than 5 years, and the leaves stamps are about 2 years old.

Little Red Wagon #726 - fall colors.

It's time to celebrate you, with brush strokes

One of the Fav at

Today's card is a very CAS one, just stamping on one layer.

I stamped a few 'brush strokes' and some 'splatters', stamped the sentiment, and that's it!

This card can be used for a man, the colors, the design and let's face it - the lack of flowers and blings... LOL.

Butterfly birthday wishes, in merlot and navy

Today's card was inspired by 4 challenges - colors, sketch, theme and a tic tac toe game.

I really loved the colors from the current challenge at Color Hues, which are Merlot and Navy:

I followed the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, only instead of a small horizontal rectangle, I used s large sentiment:

I used Creative Expressions stencil with Hero Arts 'Raspebrry Jam' ink as the wide vertical panel, and matted it with a navy pp.

I adhered a 'Maja Design' pp in distressed dark blue on top.

For the butterfly I used My Favorite Things 'Brilliant Butterflies' stamps and dies set, with the Rasperry Jam ink and Hero Arts 'Navy' ink.

The sentiment is from Waffle Flower 'Happy Birthday Duo Sentiments' stamps and dies set, and I used the navy ink.

This color combo is very striking, don't you think?

AAA Birthday theme is Butterlies:

I also played with Tic Tac Toe challenge, and took the middle row - layers, CAS and stamping.

A scribbled dandelion birthday card

A CAS birthday card, inspired by some challenges.

I used Creative Exprssions Leafy Swirls stencis, with 4 different distress oxide inks (shabby shatters, twisted citron, mermaid lagoon and tumbled glass), to make the left panel.

I then stampd Creative Expressions Dotty Flowers stamps (the flower and the sentiment) in Versafine onyx black ink.

A very CAS one layerd card!

Challenges:

Festive Friday - I used blue, green and silhouette:

Just be YOU, with scribbled flowers

This card was inspired by the colors given at The Color Throwdown #747, which are aqua, yellow and red:

A year ago, CTD had a very simmilar color combo, and I was their featured stamper. Then I made two cards, and you can see them HERE and HERE.

This time I didn't want to make a 'Disney' themed card, and oftef for a floral one.

I used scraps for this one (my goal to reduce the ammount of scraps running around here!). I die cut several scribbled flowers in white, adhered them to scraps of cardstock in the challenge's colors, and aranged them on the white backgroun, adding some outlined leaves in blsck.

I run the background cs through my Big Shot with a dotted leaves plate, and before adhereing the flowers and the leaves, I stamped the sentiment.

The small black dots are also from scraps of cs.

It also goes for the SimonSays Wednesday challenge, which is 'Lots of Layers'.

Three flowers bouquet birthday card

Today I'm sharing with you a birthday card I made in lovely colors, one of my fav color combos - green, pink and gray.

The three flowers bouquet was made with stamps (first layer) and two die cuts, that I colored with inks in green and pink (the 2nd and 3rd layers). The sentiment was stamped with gray ink

The white panel with the bouquet was double matted with olive green cardstock and gray cardstock, and then adhered to the white basis.

I also added some gray enamel dots for more interest.
