Summer 2019 - CSI case file no. 288 reveal

Warm July is already here, and we have a summer theme inspiration for you at CSI, with case file no. 288:
Isn't it just a yummy inspiration image?
I scrapped without a photo, only documenting our plans for this summer. it's the first time I scrap in real time and not about something that already happened.
I used all 5 colors and for the evidence I used: ice cream themed elements, circular elements, triangles, labels, sprinkle (embossing powder, sprays, sequins), bows and numbers.
I was inspired by the inspiration word 'Great", and placed my journaling on labels.
I used a mixed media tag I've made a while ago, and backed it with another tag, colored with brown mist and with a patterned paper with triangles.
For the background I stamped with 7 Dots Studio stamp and used Lindy's sprays in coordinating colors for the splatters.
The leaves and the doily were also colored with Lindy's spray in pink.
Thank you for visiting my blog and I appreciate your comments very much.

A golden purple mixed media tag

A winner at Lindy's Gang
for May challenge

Here's a mixed media tag I've made for May challenge at Lindy's Gang blog, with this majestic pallete:
I was also inspired by the April challenge at Mixedmedia Place blog, with this beautiful moodboard:

I started by cutting a tag from a thin chipboard, then covered it with a good layer of Finnabair white gesso.
Next I wet the tag with water and applied Magnolia Magenta Gold Magical shaker, and let it run all over the tag.
I used 49 and Market stamp 1787 with embossing ink and heat embossed with King Midas Gold ep.
Look how beautiful it looks:
I've made some embellies - for the flower I colored a watercolor paper with Summer Lovin Sun flat spray
Then I stampped a flower in layers, using embossing ink. I used Purely White ep on all of them, but tried several combinations with Sunrise Salmon Gold  ep and Caesar's Gold ep:
I colored watercolor paper one with Hi Maintenance Magenta spray, and the other one with a combination of Raspbery Lemonade flat spray with Oom Pah Pah Pink shaker and Alpine Ice Rose shaker:
On the purple one I stamped leaves and heat embossed them with Tannenbaum Green Gold ep:
From the pink one I die cut some leaves:
I also die cut more shapes of leaves, and colored some with Antique Gold shaker:
The others with Grab a Guy Gold spray and heat embossed them with Sunrise Salmon Gold:

I glued all the elements on the tag, using Finnabair Soft Matt Gel, added some sissal and gold glass beads:
For the final touch I brushed with white gesso and also sprinkled it here and there:

Nothing Fancy

Happy Saturday, dear crafty friends!
I'm working on a project for the new case file reveal at CSI, and while working on it, I took a little break to make this tag for two challenges.
The first is the mini challenge at More Than Words, which asked to use the word "Fancy":
The 2nd is a stunning moodboard at Scrap Matrix - this color combo of purple and teal is simply gorgeous!
My friend, Helen Wallace, encouraged me to join, so here it is...
Lately I love making flat embellishments by stamping in verious colors and/or coloring it with Lindy's sprays.
This time the stamping is in layers, and it's my new LOVE!
I've used Ranger's archival inks in shades of purple (for the flowers) and different shades of teal (for the leaves).
As for the big flower, after stamping it, I stamped the upper layer once again, this time with embossing clear ink, and heat embossed it once with Lindy's Desert Moon Turquoise ep, and then with Purely White ep. I really love the way it turned up!
I built the layers, using the stamped flowers and leaves, and adding some die-cut I've already had from previous projects.
In 3 weeks it will be Passover, and I alreay have at least one tag for the holiday...
Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comments are much appreciated!
As for the CSI case file, here's the sneak peek image:
Stay tuned... the reveal is on April's fool LOL

Keep Smiling - a tag for Robin's Nest

Hello dear crafty friends!
Today it's my turn on the Robin's Nest blog, and I'm sharing a tag I've made, mixed media style, with the gorgeous Dew Drops as a beautiful decoration.
Robin's Nest Dew Drops that I've used:

I was inspired by the fabulous moodboard at Mixed Media & Art:
All those turqouise and violet colors are so so beautiful.

Another two challenges I would like to enter this tag are:
Lindy's products I've used on this tag:
Shimmer sprays:
Flat Fabio sprays:
Embossing powder:

It also goes for the mini challenge at More Than Words, wich asked for the word "Keep".

Another beautiful moodboard I was inspired by, is the May challenge at Mixed Media World:
The purple and teal different shades, the flowers - all are so inspiring!
I also used some Prima/Finnabair products:
Gesso clear, Gesso white, Acrylic paint metallique light patina, Soft Gell Medium, Zeala Teal paper and flowers.
Other products: TH stencil, TH mini distress ink Wild Violet,  13@rts silver microbeads,WRMK  eyelet, gauze.
The purple flowers are handmade, using Lindy's sprays to get the right color I wantd.
Here are some close-ups on the details:
