Bee Mine

The challenge for today on 365 cards was find a substitute - to substitute a ward with an image. So I took the bee image I just got from simple doodles, as part of their new release (on Jan. 7th!!!) and gathered it with the word "MINE", and now I have the whole sentiment...

I saw the color combo on Colour Q, and what can I say? this is such a gorgeous color combo! I think I'll play with them this week. I just {heart} this combo.

I guess I just fell in love with this color combo... LOL or maybe this colors are what I have on my table now...

It was quite a challenge for me doing the sketch from 365 cards this week. I couldn't make up my mind how to do it, but when I decided on the glittered swirls, all came out niec & easy, and quickly.

Yummy birthday card

This card I've made for a 6y girl, who celebrates her birthday in a few days. Her mother, a good friend of mine, invited us to the birthday party, so I wanted to make a special birthday card for her.

As Pam, at 365 cards, asked, I went to dig for some forgotten stash :), and what do you know, I looked very deep, as I was asked, and I've found two of them! one is the doily , and the other one is the corner chipboard. hip hip hooray! so thank you very much, Pam, for making me do so, 'cause there are a lot of those doilies so you all are going to see them around the coming cards...

I love this color combo! and some challenges took this combo. I inked the doily with blue & brown ink (and it looks as if I spillt some coffee over the doily LOL) The image is from simple doodles (don't forget to pop over there in a few days, as I start my GD for January! it'll be a lot of fun!), and I colored it with watercolor pencils, sakura metalic blue and added shiny pink stickles as toping of the cupcake, and it looks almost real :) very yummy. Imade the blue fan flower (it such a fun making them. maybe I'll get to post a turtorial about variant flower making techniques).

Wedding

My cousin is getting married it two weekd , so I made this wedding card for them. I saw the challenge at my time to craft about Z folds card. I never made this dhape of card,. so I decided to give it a try. that what came out.

The patched falling scarecrow

Well, it took my some time to come up with an idea what to do with this 'lets patch things up' challenge. Finally I remembered that I have this cute scarecrow image, with patches on his cloth, so I could wipe the cold sweat... haha.

I chose this colour combo, once again fall colours. I love them. they are so vivid. The orange patch on the scarecrow's pants is felt fabric. All the stiches are faux, the yellow patches and the red oval were distressed - cut with zigzag scissors and brushed with ink

Since lately I'm in love with self made flowers. it is quite odd that I didn't use any in this card... nor ribbons. brads, or rhinestones.
