A fluttery birthday card, with a matching envelope

It has been a while since I made cards with butterflies, and I'm not sure  why....

I used MFT 'More Brilliant Butterflies' stamps, with pale blue and dark blue inks. I added an oragne glitter enmal dot in the middle of the butterfly.

For the background I die cut a stitched square and inked an embossing folder with orange ink, and embossed the square, and matted it with another stitched sqaure, using dark blue cs.

The butterfly was adhered using foam tape, and so was the blue square.

A sentiment stamped in dark blue ink on the kraft background.

I also made a matching envelope. On the front I stamped the sketched butterfly in dark blue, and the back was embossed with the same embossing folder I used for the orange background.

What a clever idea to emboss that little square! I love that! Your card is so pretty and the envelope looks special stamped and embossed to match! Thanks for playing with Just Us Girls!
