An elegant birthday card

The current challenge at Color Throwdown brings a very elegant combination - white, black and gold/silver:

This card was made only with dies. I used the spiral die with gold cardstock, and again with a black one. The gold die cut was matted with the black one, in a way that creates kind of a shaddow.

The same wad done with the 'happy birthday' die, only this time I die cut the sentiment 3 times in gold, and matted it with one layer of the black one.

I added 3 gold sequins for more sparkle, and it also goes for the 'sparkle' challenge at The Paper Players:

The 3rd challenge I would like to enter this card is from Inspire.Create.challenges, with the theme of  'Birthday':

It was brought to my attention, by a virtual friend, that it can also go for the January challenge at Archi-Scraps:
The color combo, along with the motif on the door, wouldn't you say it fits?
Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments very much!

A clean and elegant beauty, Libeeti! I love the spiral die cuts. The foil is so shiny and the sequins are so sparkly...it's a perfect card for my challenge at The Paper Players this week. Thank you so much for sharing!

Leebti, I just love those gorgeous swirls and the way you shadowed the spiral and sentiment elements with black. It really grounds them and makes the gold sparkle and shine even brighter.
So glad you joined us at the Paper Players this week
