Together Forever - CSI case file no. 297

Happy October to you all, and a Happy New Year to all my Jewish friends - Shanah Tova!
CSI did it again, with an amazing case file:
I really loved the colors and the inspiration photo.
Can you feel the autumn atmosphere?
I scrapped a photo of me and my youngest, on our autumn vacation in London, a few years ago.
I used all 5 colors and from the evidence I took: stripes, chevrons, arrows, flowers, leaves, twigs, triangles, metal dies, a wreath design, woodgrain, architectural elements (well, the Tower of London is just behind us in the photo) and stamps.
As for the testimony - my journaling is on a circular spot and I wrote about how much fun we had on our autumn vacation.

I started by applying Finnabair clear gesso to the background, and then made splatters all over with several Lindy's sprays (Cape Cod CoralFuzzy Navel Peach, Milk Chocolate Brown, Clam Bake Beige and Frosty Forest Green).
Next I stamped here and there, using 49 and Market Pascale's writings stamp, with  Ranger's Library Green archival ink.

All the chipboards I've used are from Creative Embellishments, and I gave them a good coat of Finnabair's white gesso.
I colored the  large leaves with Lindy's Ponderosa Pines Olive, and then heat embossed here and there with Lindy's Oakleaf Olive ep. I just love the goldish touch it gave to the leaves!
The small leaves were colored with Lindy's Lederhosen Laurel shaker.
The wreath was heat embossed with two Lindy's ep -Brutwurst Brown  and Byzantine Bronze. I gave 3 coats of the ep.
The title was heat embossed with Lindy's Orange Creamsicle ep, again with 3 coats.

I backed the photo with pp from a beautiful 6X6 pad 'Bornt to Be Free' by WhiteRus. The patterns have arrows, chevrons and stripes. I distressed all adges.
I felt something is missing in the lower part of the design, so I addes a large piece of lace, and I love the softness it gives to the whole page.
I die cut some twigs and colored them with Lindy's Ponderosa Pine Olive spray.
I adhered some flowers and blooms and two tiny arrows.

For the final touch - splatters of dilluted white gesso.
I'm all up for autumn!
I would like to enter this layout for the October challenge at Creative Embellishments, with this beautiful moodboard, and the twist of adding some lace:
I was inspired by the autumn feeling, especially the two right photos on the buttom, and by the beautiful lace photo.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comments are highly appreciated.
