A steampunk birthday card

The minute I saw the new challenge at Just Us Girls, I loved the colors:

I used simmilar colors a few times lately - HERE and HERE.

I thought these colors can be perfect for a masculine card. After all, masculine cards are always in need.

I also took inspiration from the sketch at Just Add Ink:

My take is a little loose one, but I think you can still see it in my card.

I die cut the gears frame and colored it with TH's distress inks (vintage photo, peacock feathers and spiced marmalade).

I also die cut the sentiment and colored it with TH's distress ink vintage photo, to match the frame.

It also goes for Little Red Wagon, which asked for Masculine.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comments are much appreciated.

Libeeti... this is an incredibly fun card! Such a creative way to use the colors... would be such a great "male" card. Thanks so much for joining us and sharing your card at Just Us Girls.

Such a fun way to use the sketch Libeeti. The inky gears are a great effect in those colours. Thanks for sharing at Just Add Ink.
