6 Weeks - lo

This photo was taken when my younges was 6 weeks. He was and still so cutie! He is one of the most assertive kids I've ever known, and he was just like that since he was born, only it took some time when he was a baby to understand what exactly does he want...
Today is Independence Day  here in Israel. Last evening we looked at the fireworks and we had such a fun! Ever since I was a little girl, I loved the fireworks on Independence Day. My late dad used to take me over each year to watch it, and I'm passing this love to the young generation... Today we celebrated the day with good friends, in eating of course... LOL It looks as if this is the national ritual for this day.
And by coincidence or not, the colors of this layout are mostly the colors of the Israeli flag - blue & white.

I used a table runner for the golden square. The light green flower was made out from an old cloth that I was about to throw. The blue felt flower is from a local craft store and the bashful blue butterfly is from a table decorating store.

The hand stitched frame of the center square was made with two different colors of threads. I drew faux stitches as a frame for the photo and the entire white cs.

Under the main dp square I used a strip from BG kit - lilykate, and on the dp and behind the photo there is a dark blue ribbon from a local sewing store. The baby foots stamp is from 1$ store, where I also got the shiny letters stickers.

Did you notice that super cute coupon stamp? I just got it as a Rak. I think it's adorable!

Now, I would say that on this layout I used all Pam's requests of digging deep on day 50 at 365 crads - The green flower was made of and old cloth, I used that table runner I forgot I had, and the coupon stamp is something I was given and I have never used. The only rebel act here is that it is not a card.... LOL
I'm sure Gloria & Rose will back me this time... Not to mention Tesa, who is to "blame" for me doing mostly layouts and not cards... LOL

So as for the challenges:

Thank you for stooping by and taking the time to look at my new layout.
Have a lovely day!
