This life is pretty amazing

The minute I saw the colors at TGIF, I thought of a beach scene:

I think this colors combo is so dreamy!

I used two distress inks (scattered straw and tumbled glass), and a ranger's archival ink (tea rose) to create the background. Then I die cut a stitched rectangle.

I'm not sure how, but in the end I didn't go on a beach scene, rather preferred to stay with a powerful statement (TH Stampers Anonymous stamp), inked with ranger's archival ink (jet black).

I added some butterlies (Kaisercraft stamps) as a whimsical element, again with the black ink.

I adhered the pannel to a folded vanilla cs basis, and that's it.

I would like to enter it to the 'Precious' challenge at Time Out challenge blog, as life is something very precious, and hence my inspiration for this card.

A row of autumn leaves, just for you

Never get tired of those beautiful autumn leaves, so when I saw the sketch chllenge at Paper Craft Crew, I immediately thought of a row of falling leaves:

For the colors, I took inspiration from The Color Throwdown #667, where Lori asked for orange, peach, pink and red:

I die cut the bigger leaves and colored them in the challenge colors, then I die cut some smaller leaves, and colored them with rust color, kind of brownish orange.

I aranged the leaves on a kraft cs, and adhered the assembling on a white cs.

I stamped the sentiment in red and die cut it with a stitched tag die, added a red twine, and attached it with dimmentionals.

As a final touch, I added some pink enmel dots, and my card is done!

Happy Birthdy card, in Christmas colors

The color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches, is very Christmasy:

I really love this color combo, but I don't celebrate Christmas, so I went for a birthday theme card.

I was also inspired by the colors of the card to CASE at Global Design Project:

I loved that crimson background, and used a Cart Bella paper from 'Home for Christmas' collection. I also loved the bi-colored leaves, so I did the same on my card.

Last, but not least, I was inspired by the 'Add Leaves' theme at The Flower Challenge:

I think my card came very ellegant. What do you think?

A cup of coffee with a friend....

What can be better than a cup of coffee with a (good) friend? truely happiness.

A card I've made for a friend at work, who knows to appreciate a good coffee together.

It's another card for the color challenge at The Color Throwdown (you can see my previous one HERE):

It also goes for the current challenge at CAS on Friday, which asked for 'Coffee':

You're Appreciated - CTD meets FMS

One of the FAV

A good friend of mine, who is also a co-worker, is leaving our department, so I made her an appreciation card.

I loved the colors offered this week by The Color Throwdown #666, and paired them with the lovely sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #509.

I wanted my card to be as CAS as possible, and it is almost a one layers card. I just felt the addition of the enamel dots are perfect.

I used Altenew's stamp set, both for the striped triangles and the sentiment.

The large triangles were stamped in Hero Arts' orange soda, and the small ones - in VersaFine toffee ink. The sentiment was stamped in Ranger's coffee archival ink.

Love with tags

I saw the current challenge at Colors Hues, and really loved it:

The color combo of red, kraft and white, just screams  'Christmas', but I don't celebrate this holiday, so I went on something completely different.

I didn't add any sentiment, as I have not decided yet for what occasion I'll be using this card....

Birthday wishes with autumn leaves

A winner at Just Add Ink

I hope you're not fed up with autumn leaves and colors... I really love autumn colors.

I was inspired by the challenge at Just Add Ink, with this beautiful photo:

The colors, the dewdrops, the leaves...

I stamped some leaves on the white cs basis, and then added some die cut leaves, that I colored with distress inks. I really loved the dewdrops on the leaves, so I added some on mine too.

Thanks for dropping by!

Always Amazing, in purple

One of the Top 3

Dark purple is a very dominant color, and a hard one to take photo, but it's soooo beautiful!

There are some purplish challenges, and I gave it a try.

I stamped the flower in Hero Arts Grape Juice ink, and the leaves in two shades of bright green. I then fussy cut them and adhered to a white cs basis, after stmping the sentiment, again in purple. I added some glittery enamel dots in silver, and my card is done!

As I said, it's very hard to take a photo of purple, and in the photo the flower and the sentiment look as if they're black, but it's purple!

I woud like to enter it to the following chalenges:

A birthday card in pastel colors - Color Throwdown

Here's a quick birthday card, in pastel colors, inspired by Color Throwdown #665:

I used strip tirangle stamp (Altenew) in pink, purple and aqua. The sentiment (again Altenew) was stamped in purple.

I also add some scoring lines, and my card is done!
