Poomse - Nov. 15th at Stuck?!

Hi everyone :)

I wanted to share with you a layout I've made for Nov 15th reveal at Stuck?!, with this wonderful sketch designed by Laura:

This time Stuck?! teamed with Scrap Our Stash challenge, which asked to include some wood in you project. I used some wood veneer arrows and wood alphas, which were colored with distress stain, and a scrap of wood look dp.

I used papers from Carta Bella 'Rough&Tumble 6X6 pad, and a scrap of wood patterned paper from MME.

The photo is of my eldest, on his degree test of Tiquando.

דף חדש שהכנתי כחלק מצוות העיצוב ב-!?Stuck, עם תמונה של הבכור במבחן דרגה בטאיקוונדו. הפעם יש שיתוף פעולה עם בלוג אתגרים נוסף, Scrap Our Stash, שביקשו לשלב עץ בעבודה. מרבית השתמשתי בשארית דף מדוגם במראה של לוחות עץ, בחיצים מעץ ובאותיות עץ שנצבעו ב-distress stain. הדפים המדוגמים הנוספים הם מקולקציה נהדרת של Carta Bella-Rough&Tumble, קולקציה נהדרת לעיצובים עבור הבנים שבחבורה. עושה רושם שבעתיד תראו עוד כמה וכמה דפים עם הקולקציה הזאת...

Sweet moments - Simple Stories mini album

A spiral scrolled mini album I've made for a co-worker, who's celebrating her 50th birthday, so she can put her family's photo inside. I used this great tutorial. The whole mini album size is 6X4.

I used Simple Stories Sn@p cards/ I {heart} Summer collection. I've creaed pockets for journaling/photos and even a pocket to hold a mimi mini accordion album.

מיני אלבום ספירלי שהכנתי כמתנה לחברה בעבודה שחוגגת יום הולדת 50. הגודל שלו הוא 4X6 אינטש, והוא כולו מפד כרטיסים של Simple Stories, מקולקצית Sn@p I{heart} Summer.

את האלבום הכנתי לפי ההדרכה הזאת. הדרכה מאד פשוטה וקלילה, ובזמן קצר אפשר להכין מיני אלבום מקסים.

הוספתי כיסים שונים, כדי שאפשר יהיה להכניס תמונות וכיתובים, ובאחד מהכיסים גם הוספתי מיני מיני אלבום אקורדיון.

for case file #95 at CSI

This is my take on case file #95 at CSI, with a photo of me, at about 6 months old. I used lots of Prima Marketing products, from different collections - patterned papers, wood embellishments, light bulb, alphas, paper clips, stitches stamps, canvas resist, resin feathers , chipboard, sugar dots, say it in crystals, and of course - flowers and leaves.

I used gesso on the background paper and then colored it with white acrylic paint, so the original background is almost unseen. I added cheescloth and doily (a CheeryLynn die) I worked with distress stains (on the book pages and on the canvas resist embellies), and distress inks, and it all gave a vintage old look to my page. My mini book was tied with a baker's twine and I also tied the twine to the wood button on the bottom.

I would also like to enter this page to the current challenge at Inkido, which required to use thread/ string/ yarn (I used twine).

My clues to solve the case were:

Scheme - all 5 colors used.

Evidence - paint, distressing, wood, flowers, fabric, book pages, tie something, metal, tearing.

Testimony - I wrote my journaling  on an accordion folded paper, in a shape of a small book, and tacked it under the photo and the matting: "I was 6 months old and I was very ill, with an infection in my blood. I was burning with fever, so that my Mom got a burn on her skin, while she was holding me. I needed to get and injection and Mom asked our neighbour's help. He was a doctor, a children neurologist, but he refused to give me the injection. Luckily, another neighbour of us, a nurse, just returned home from abroad, after she lost her son, and she willingly helped us. I can only imagine how my Mom felt at that time."

דף חדש שהכנתי, כמעט בדקה האחרונה, לאתגר ב-CSI. זה דף פרימה מובהק, עם תמונה שלי בגיל בערך חצי שנה. באותה תקופה חליתי מאד והיה לי זיהום בדם. היה צורך לתת לי זריקת אנטיביוטיקה, ואמי פנתה בבקשת עזרה לשכן שלנו, שהיה נוירולוג ילדים, אלא שהוא סירב. למזלנו, שכנה אחרת שלנו, אחות במקצועה, בדיוק חזרה מחו"ל, וברצון רב עזרה לנו. 

השתמשתי בדפים מדוגמים שונים של פרימה, מקולקציות שונות, בקישוטי קנבס רסיסט, בלינגים, sugar dots, פרחים, קליפסים, נוצות resin, וקישוטי עץ. דף הבסיס נצבע בג'סו ואח"כ בצבע אקרילי לבן, כך שההדפסה המקורית עליו נראית מאד במעורפל, מה שמוסיף למראה הוינטאג'י. בשוליים החתמתי בחותמת תיפורים של פרימה והחתמתי גם עם חותמת של TH בצורת קיר לבנים במקומות שונים בדף. הוספתי גם חיתוך של דוילי (צ'ירי לין). את מרבית החומרים בהם השתמשתי ניתן למצוא בחנות של איקס מיקס (אם נשאר עוד משהו מהחומרים הללו...).

Watch You Grow - Special Agent at CSI case file #97

This is my 2nd page as Special Agent at CSI this month. In opposite to last week's pallete, this week's one is a soft and airy one.

Here's case file #97 at CSI:

My clues to solve the case were:

Scheme - all colors are used here. the background paper stripes are in velvet blue color, but no matter how many times I took the photos again and again, it still looks white/gray, so you'll just have to believe me on this.

Sketch by Emma Stafrace -used.

Evidence - patterned paper for background, leaves, frames, dry emboosing (the white frames of the photos and the teal cs), chevron pattern, fabric (jute flowers as matiing for the ribbon flowers), transparent accents (the due drops).

Testimony - framed the journaling spot, IW-grow.  I wrote: "It's a great delight to watch you grow by the years, turning from a baby who can hardly contain all the stimulation around you, into a growing up boy, who learns how to regulate himself."

I took two photos of my youngest, one when he was about 7 months old, and the other when he was about 7Y, to showcase the growing up.
I would like to enter this lo, reflecting my boy's growing, to the 'Change is beautiful' challenge at Berry71bleu.

דף שני שהכנתי כמעצבת אורחת ב-CSI. השבוע, בניגוד לשבוע שעבר, פלטת הצבעים מאד רכה ואוורירית.  השתמשתי בשתי תמונות של צעיר הבנים, האחת כשהיה כבן 7 חודשים והשניה כשהיה כבן 7 שנים, כדי להמחיש את גדילתו לאורך השנים, בהתאמה לג'ורנלינג.

ברוח תמונת ההשראה והצבעים האווריריים, הפעם זה דף בלי הרבה טכניקות ואפילו עם מעט שכבות (יחסית). מדף מדוגם חתכתי את העלים הירוקים הגדולים, הוספתי באנרים של קארדסטוק שעבר הבלטה ודף מדוגם, פרחי יוטה שנצבעו עם גלימר מיסט חום כדי להעמיק את הגוון החום, ומשמשים מצע לפרחים עשויים מסרטים. להעצמת התחושה האוורירית, הוספתי גם כמה dew drops ופאייטים. הכותרת נעשתה בעמל רב של תפירה. כתב היד לא מדהים, אבל הוא שלי...

I was very honored when Debbi,  from CSI asked me to be a Special Agent (i.e. Guest Designer) for November.

Here's case file #96:

My 'clues' to solve the case were: 

Scheme - all 5 colors.

Evidence - mesh, typewriter font, clocks, something transparent (vellum), flowers, rhinestones, gold metal (gold gliiter on the embossed wheathered clock), frames and paint.

Testimony - document a favorite room in your home. journaling on the hidden tag behind the photo and I wrote: "Satureday morning and after breakfast and playing with me, you set on the soffa in the living room and read together the 1st book of Harry Potter's series. Magical moments to cherish and to remember."

I used papers from Echo Park, Simple Stories & Fancy Pants; homemade chalkboard tags, TH die, ChheryLynn Designs die, flowers from my stash, rhinestones (KaiserCraft), baker's twine, Mr. Huey's mist and sequins.
I would like to enter it to the tag it challenge at Frosted Designs.

הוזמנתי להיות מעצבת אורחת לחודש נובמבר ב-CSI ומאד הוחמאתי. יש שם מעצבות מוכשרות ביותר, וזה לא סוד שהאתר הזה הוא אחד החביבים עלי ביותר. האתגרים שם, עם שילוב של צבעים, נושאי השראה ואלמנטים - מאד ממריצים את היצירתיות ו'מאלצים' אותי לחשוב מחוץ לקופסא, וכך להתנסות בעיצובים שאינם בדרך השגרה שלי.

כל החודש הנושא המוביל הוא "בית", אבל כמובן שאין הכרח להיצמד דווקא לנושא הזה, כל עוד עונים על מרכיבי האתגר.

התמונה שבדף צולמה באחת משבתות החורף שעבר, לפני שנה. אחרי ארוחת הבוקר וטורניר השש-בש המסורתי שלנו, הבנים התיישבו על הספה בסלון, והבכור הקריא לצעיר הבנים מהספר הראשון בסדרת הארי פוטר. אלו היו רגעים מקסימים, לנצור ולזכור.

כהרגלי - הדף הוא עתיר שכבות. גם כשאני חושבת שהנחתי כמות מספקת של שכבות, כמעט תמיד מתגנבת לה עוד חתיכת נייר מדוגם לשכבה נוספת.

פלטת הצבעים פשוט צעקה לי "24/7" של Simple Stories, הוספתי לדפי הסטאק גם דפים בדיגום של נקודות ופסי אלכסון של Echo Park וגם מסגרת צהובה, אף היא של Echo Park מקולקציה שהתלהבתי ממנה מאד בזמנו (ועדיין נותרו לי דפים מהקולקציה הזו).

חתכתי עם הביג שוט שעון גדול, והוא נצבע בג'סו ואח"כ עבר אמבוסינג עם אבקת אמבוסינג קראקל. כדי לתת אפקט מנצנץ, מרחתי אח"כ גם קצת גליטר זהוב. שעון הכיס הוא חותמת וכך גם הכותרת. פרחים (הפעם קנויים ולא תוצרת עצמית), סלסולי עלים בביג שוט, אבני חן והקישוט הטרנדי המתבקש - פאייטים.

אני אוהבת את השימוש בוולום. הוא מעמעם צבעים ודגמים חזקים, ומרכך את העיצוב.

ובנוסף, גם השפרצתי קצת ממר יואי אדום. ככה בקטנה, בשביל האפקט הדרמטי.

A Circle of Love - Nov 1st at Stuck?!

This is my 1st layout as a DT member at Stuck?!, with this fab sketch by Laura:

I had so much fun working with this sktech. I used two photos of my sons at the seaside, on 2012 summer. I went on a monochromatic design, with a touch of teal with Lindys Stamp Gang starburst. I alos did some heat embossing and used rub-ons and a twine.

דף ראשון שהכנתי כחלק מצוות המעצבות ב-!?Stuck. השתמשתי בשתי תמונות של הילדודס נהנים בחוף הים בקיץ 2012. העיצוב הפעם הוא כמעט לחלוטין מונוכרומטי, עם נגיעה של כחול במיסט. עשיתי גם אמבוסינג עם חותמת רקע נפלאה ואבקת אמבוסינג לבנה.

נתתי גם הצצה קטנטנה לדף שאותו אעלה מחר, עם הפתעה קטנה, אז אתן מוזמנות לשוב ולבקר כאן מחר.
