Hey Kiddo

Our #1 mini challenge at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog is to be inspired by a stamp. one stamp only. and you need to use it on your project (you can use more stamps, but the one that inspired you must be used).

For my lo, I took the lace border stamp from MME Miss Caroline/Fiddlesticks/"Story" stamps. 
It inspired me to go on a lacy look, and so I stamped a border on the bottom of the white cs and partly covered it with a diagonal stripes pp:

Furtheremore, I took a doily and stamped another stamp from that set, this time a half doily stamp:

Then I took a grayish lace and put it from both sides of the photo:

The hidden journaling is on the tag behind the photo, and it states 4 things about my youngest: super sweet; funny; very assertive; so loved.

My 'clues' to solve the case were:
Evidence: stripes, swirls, transparent elemnt (the transparent sheet under the photo), doily pattern, something that rolls up (some of the pp).
Testimony: my journaling tag has a frame and I wrote 4 things about my son.

האתגר הראשון לחודש זה בבלוג של קיט החיקוי הוא לקבל השראה מחותמת. חותמת אחת בלבד, ולהשתמש בה בדף (אפשר להשתמש בעוד חותמות).

ההשראה שלי הייתה מחותמת של בורדר תחרה, והיא הכתיבה שימוש באלמנטים של תחרה בדף. החתמתי את החותמת בתחתית הקארדסטוק הלבן, והסתרתי אותה חלקית עם רצועה של דף מדוגם עם פסים אלכסוניים. בנוסף, לקחתי מפית תחרה והחתמתי עליה חותמת תחרה נוספת מאותו סט, הפעם של חצי עיגול תחרה. הטאץ' האחרון של תחרה היה עם תחרה אפרפרה עדינה שהדבקתי משני צידי התמונה, בהתאמה לפס העדין שבסקיצה.

הענף הפרחוני שבסקיצה תורגם אצלי למסיכה עם סלסולים, וכדי לאזן אותה, הוספתי בפינה הנגדית של התמונה קצת גאזה שנצבעה באפור בעזרתו האדיבה של Mr. Huey's, בתוספת פרח עם בראד במרכזו.

Comfortable

I really loved the new case file at CSI, with it subtle palatte:

This lo is about my youngest, who suffers from hyper sensetivity, and as a baby/young kid had many difficulties coping with verious stimulations. On the hidden tag I documented some things that he felt "comfortable" with, and some that just made him totally carzy.

My clues to solve the case were:

Theme - I used all 5 colors.

Evidence - woodgrain (the background paper has a light woodgrain pattern, which is better seen on the close-ups), a button (on the jouranling tag), silver metal accent (the frame of the brownd dotted brad on one of the flowers).

Testimony - my hidden jouranling tag has a button on it.

I used November's sketch from Once Upon A...Sketch, with the open theme plus jouranling:

I would like to enter this lo to Frosted Designs blog hop. I used the following ingredients: embossing (dry, swiss dots on the off white banner); a button, die cut (the chickenwire - Cheery Lynn; the frame - bought die-cut); spray mist (gray spllaters and the chickenwire mask with brown chalkboard mist); alphas stickers; flowers; lace.

דף מעוצב שהכנתי לאתגרים של CSI, OUAS ו-Frosted Design.

הדף הוא על רגישות היתר של צעיר הבנים, ממנה סבל מאד כתינוק וכילד קטן (וכמה טוב שיש שיפור והטבה עם חלוף השנים). המצב הכל כך טבעי עבור תינוקות, של נינוחות ותחושת נעם בזרועותיה של אמא, בכלל לא הייתה מובנת מאליו אצלו. בתגית הכיתוב הנסתרת, מאחורי התמונה, תיעדתי כמה מהדברים שגרמו לו להרגיש "בנוח", וכמה דברים שפשוט הטריפו אותו.

רשת הלולים מככבת כאן בשני אופנים - גם כחיתוך בביג שוט וגם מסיכה עם התזת מיסט. וכמובן שלא יכולתי שלא להשתמש שימוש מסיבי במכשיר ההשחתה של אינגוילד :). וכפי שאני אוהבת -גם הכנתי פרחים מעשה ידי (הגדולים, עם הבראדים כמרכזי פרחים).

Special Memories

This is my #1 lo made with my November Counterfeit Kit, plus some scraps from previous CKC kits and projects.

I used #223 sketch from Creative Scrappers:

I loved the chevron pattern on this sketch!

I cut circles from the background dp (which is more orange than yellow IRL), backed the holes with some dp scraps and popped the circles with pop-up dots. Some Mr. Huey's spllatters to give some intrest and doodling for the frame:

I painted the chipboard title (Imaginarium Designs) with gesso and then with Ranger distress cracle paint:

דף מעוצב ראשון עם קיט החיקוי לחודש נובמבר. מצאה חן בעיני הסקיצה עם הזיגזגים ברקע, ומשם הדף זרם. תמונה של הילדודס בגן גרוטאות באגם חי ביראון, לפני 5 שנים. האחד רציני, השני עם חיוך ממזרי.

אני מאד אוהבת את הצבעוניות העליזה של דפי ה-sn@p שקניתי ב-Xmix. הם משתלבים נהדר גם עם דפים מדוגמים צבעוניים ועליזים של חברות אחרות. בדף הזה הזיגזגים המנוקדים (תכלת ואדום) הם sn@p,  ואילו שני הזיגזגים האחרים הם של Jillibean Soup (הירוק המשובץ) ושל Crate Paper (הפרחוני).

העיגולים נחתכו מדף הבסיס, מאחורי החורים שנוצרו הדבקתי ניירות מדוגמים (ע"ע ניצול שאריות...), ואת העיגולים שנחתכו הדבקתי עם דבק תלת מימד, בהטיה שתחשוף את הרקע. התזתי עם Mr Huey's במיקבצים של העיגולים, והוספתי מסגרת משורבטת עם עט שחור.

הכותרת היא צ'יפבורד (Imaginarium Designs) אותה צבעתי עם ג'סו ואח"כ עם distress crackle paint.

Falling Leaves - November's Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog hop

Welcome to November's Counterfeit Kit Challange Blog hop!

This month we have a very talented lady as our Guest Designer - Julie. You should really hop to her blog - full of beautiful and inspiring creations. 

This time we were asked to choose our fav collection, from 2012, anc counterfeit this collection with our own stash. 

Oh, my! that was a toughie one! with so many gorgeous collection, I had hard time to decide which collection I would counterfeit. And then it was hard to counterfeit it. I must say, it's easier to counterfiet a kit from one of the clubs :).

Eventually I went for Simple Stories - Harvest Lane:

And here's a collage of my "Falling Leaves" kit:

To make my kit I first wrote down the colors (green, brown, pale blue, orange, red, yellow and cream). Then I wrote down the patterns (plaid, woodgrain, flowery, strips, dots and checkered). The last stage was to write down some significant elements (trees, journaling cards, leaves, scalopped circles with banners.

I started with patterned papers:

1st row - Jillibean Soup (Coconut Lime Soup), Simple Stories (Sn@p), Fancy Pants (Be You), Fancy Pants (Childish Thing) Echo Park (This & That Charming).

2nd row - Fancy Pants (Summer's End), Echo Park (Dots & Stripes), lilybee design (9 to 5), Simple Stories (Sn@p), My Mind's Eye (On The Sunny Side).

Then I took some cs in coordinating colors (Cosmo Cricket, Bazzill and American Crafts).

Finally, I added embellies - journaling cards from Jillibean Soup; some jornaling tags I've made from scraps; 

More embellies: plastic, foam and fabric leaves, foam stars, felt flowers and felt birds, washi tapes, ribbons, Thickers and Hebrew letters (that's why in every CKC kit of mine I have so many alphas... I need to put alphas in two langauges).

Now for what I plan to do with this kit.... I have an idea to make a mini album "2012 in review", and I want to use this kit for it. I guess I will make some layouts with this kit, and I just might make an add-on kit and add-on embellishments kit.

חודש חדש, עם קיט חיקוי חדש :).

הפעם יש טוויסט בקיט החיקוי. אפשר לבחור את הקולקציה המועדפת עלינו מאלו שיצאו במהלך שנת 2012, ולחקות אותה עם החומרים שיש לנו בבית.

יד על הלב? הפעם היה לי קשה להכין את הקיט, ולו רק בגלל שהיו כל כך הרבה קולקציות יפות שמצאו חן בעיני. החלטתי ללכת על הקולקציות הסתוויות, ואז התחיל הקושי הגדול, כי בדיוק הגיעה ל-Xmix הקולקציה של Jillibean Soup עליה פינטזתי. ברור שהיא כבר אצלי.... הפיתוי היה גדול, פשוט לקחת אותה ולהשתמש בה, אבל עמדתי בפיתוי הזה בגבורה ובכל זאת ניגשתי למלאכת הרכבת הקיט מהחומרים שכבר היו לי.

ראשית - רשמתי לי את הצבעים שמככבים בקולקציה (ירוק, חום, תכלת, כתום, אדום, צהוב וקרם). אח"כ מיפיתי את הדוגמאות (משבצות, עץ, פרחוני, פסים, נקודות ו-plaid). בהתאם בחרתי דפים מדוגמים והוספתי להם קארדסטוקים בצבעים תואמים. בסוף התהליך אספתי קישוטים תואמים, וחלקם הכנתי בעצמי.

יש לי רעיון להשתמש בקיט הזה כדי להכין מיני אלבום סיכום לשנת 2012, אבל מן הסתם אשתמש בו גם להכנת דפי 30X30 מעוצבים. יתכן שגם אכין קיט משלים ועוד קישוטים, הכל בהתאם לקצב השימוש במה שכבר יש. 

יצא לי קיט שאני מאד אוהבת. מה דעתכן? בחודש שעבר היו שתיים שנדלקו על הרעיון של קיט החיקוי וגם הכינו והשתמשו בו. אני מקווה שהן נהנו ושהן יצטרפו גם החודש. יש עוד מצטרפות? הפעם הבחירה של החיקוי היא לגמרי שלכן....

Days of innocence

This is my take on two challenges - a sketch challenge and a color combo challenge.

I was very inspired by a very tallented lady - Janna Werner, especially by this lo.

I used dp from Simple Stories, Fancy Pants and Pink Paislee; cs - AC and Bazzill; rub-ons: EK Success; alphas: Ep (the big ones) and My Little Shoebox (the tiny ones); pom pom riboon: October Afternoon; stickers: Cosmo Cricket, EP; chipboard buttons: WP; mist: Mr. Huey's; baker's twine: Q&Co.; misc.: homemade crochet doily, staples, strip ribbon, gauze and office paperclip - from my stash.

The photo is of my youngest, when he was about 14 months.

לא להיבהל מהדף בצבעי כריסטמס... נדלקתי על פלטת הצבעים שהייתה ב-The color room וגם על הסקיצה המאד מעניינת. משם כבר הכל התגלגל,  ואפילו די מהר.

קיבלתי השראה רבה להכנת הדף שלי מיוצרת גרמניה מאד מוכשרת, Janna Werner, ובמיוחד מהדף וההדרכה הללו (ותודה לחברותי ששלחו אותי להסתכל על הבלוג של הגברת הזאת).

בדף הזה השתמשתי בחומרים מחברות שונות (פירוט יש בטקסט באנגלית), ובמגוון של טכניקות. אני אוהבת את האפקט של הנזילות של Mr. Huey's ונהנית כל פעם למצוא דרך אחרת להשפריץ ולשחק איתו.

התמונה היא של צעיר הבנים, כשהיה בן שנה וקצת, במסיבת הסיום של כיתת התינוקות במעון. הפרצוף שלו בתמונה, עם המוצץ בפה, משדר לי המון תום. ומייד הייתה האסוציאציה של "ימי התום". הכותרת היא בעלת משמעות כפולה, כי אלו ימי התום של תינוק על סף פעוט, ואלו ימי התום, השקט והשלווה של טרום מלחמת לבנון השניה. ממש זמן קצר לפני שנאלצנו לברוח מפני ההפגזות והיינו מעין פליטים.

אחת הסיבות בגללן אני מאד אוהבת אתגרים, היא כי הם גורמים לי לצאת מהקופסא, להשתמש בחומרים/שילובי צבעים/טכניקות וכיוצ"ב שלא הייתי משתמשת אלמלא האתגר.

לכן כשראיתי את האתגר החדש ב"יוצאות מהקווים", עם שילוב צבעים שאין מצב שהייתי משתמשת בו, ידעתי שזו הזדמנות מצויינת לצאת מאזור הנוחות שלי.

צבעים של ורוד/אדום/כתום הם ממש לא הצבעים הרגילים בהם אני משתמשת. כאן באה לעזרתי קופסת השאריות (הבלתי נגמרת, יש לומר את האמת), ולא סתם שאריות, אלא של חברה שאני מאד אוהבת - Jillibean Soup. גם פרוייקט השאריות בקומונה 'המפתח ליצירה' שימש תמריץ הולם לשימוש בשאריות.

אבל אין ישן בלי חדש, נכון? אז המדבקה העגולה, בכרטיס השני, היא מקולקציה סתווית של אותה חברה, שפינטזתי עליה זמן רב, והנה התמזל מזלי ו-Mrs. G הואילה ברוב טובה להביאה לחנות Xmix. וכמובן, שאי אפשר בלי הביג שוס החדש, שאף הוא נרכש לאחרונה באותה חנות קטנה ומטריפה. הבסיס בשני הכרטיסים עבר הבלטה של נקודות, ובכרטיס הראשון גם השתמשתי בתבנית חיתוך של רשת לולים/כוורת של חב' Cheery Lynn.

תודה רבה ל'יוצאות', שגרמו לי באמת לצאת מהקווים שלי.

Warriors

This is my take on case file #43 at CSI:

My clues to solve the case were:
For the evidence: damask; something transparent (one of the flourishes is from vellum); flourishes, b/w patterned papers.
For the testimony: the jornaling is on a framed journal spot.
I used October's sketch from ScrapFriends:

I really enjoyed playing with the Mr. Huey's mists. they have such a wonderfl effect.
I alos played with my new toy, the Big Shot, and cut the flourishes(Sizzix Bigz) and the chickenwire (Cheery Lynn). I embossed gears (TH) on a plain white cs, and worked with distress inks and TA chalkboard mist. I love how it turned out.
I used 13 buttons (one of them is for the "O" in the title), and placed one of them on a bottle cup (for the challenge at ScrapItGirl)

הפעם קצת השתגעתי, לא? השפעות סביבתיות מובילות אותי, אט אט אך בבטחה, אל עבר מחוזות המיקס(ד) מדיה. בקיצור - יש לי על מי להטיל את האחריות: אש קטנה (וגם Mrs. G האגדתית מ-Xmix).

נהניתי מאד לשחק עם כמה וכמה מהרכישות החדשות שלי אצל Xmix - ספריי של Mr. Huey's, שבעיני הוא מוצלח יותר מאשר הגלימר מיסטים (אלא אם כן אתן לא יכולות בלי הניצנוץ). ההשפרצה שלו יפה יותר בעיני, וגם יותר נשלטת. תראו איזו התפוצצות של צבע ירוק יש בדף הזה... גם הצעצוע החדש, ביג שוט, עבד יפה על הדף הזה... הסלסולים (סיזיקס) ורשת הלולים (צ'ירי לין) נחתכו בעליזות, גם על דף וולום צהוב. קארדסטוק לבן עבר התעללות מסיבית כדי לשמש מאטינג: הבלטה של גלגלי שיניים, יישון עם שני צבעים שונים של דיו דיסטרס, שיוף (אח, אינגוילד, אינגוילד, מה היינו עושים בלעדי מכשירי ההשחתה שלך...), וריסוס בגלימר מיסט צהבהב, שנוגב עם מגבון לח. רק אז הייתי מרוצה ממה שיצא. תהליך יישון דומה, רק בלי ההבלטה, עברו גם שולי הדף.

האם העתיד טומן בחובו עבורי קנבסים עם נערות אנורקטיות וצבעים פסיכודליים? לא בטוח. אבל אין ספק שאני רק בתחילת הדרך בהתנסות עם המיקס(ד) מדיה, ועוד נכונו לי עלילות רבות....

Summer 2012

We finally got some rain over here... so it's a good reason to scrap a summery photo, right? LOL. The photo was taken last August, at the end of our summer vactaion. The boys chased each other, falling into the water, and running again.

I used Glitz Design products (dp from Dance in the sunshine & Beautiful Dreamer; stkickers from Kismet collection);  I aslo used my new Big Shot with TH alternations to make the sign for the title. I painted it with gesso and then used TA glimmer mist, chalkboard mist and Ranger TH distress inks.  All papers were distressed with Prima distress tool.
I painted the rope with white acrylic paint and then rolled it into a circle under the photo.

הסוף סוף גשם (הקצרצר, יש לומר) הספיק כדי לעורר געגוע לקיץ... אז עבדתי עם תמונה שצולמה בשלהי אוגוסט האחרון, בסוף חופשת הקיץ שלנו. אחד הדברים שהילדים נהנים ממנו מאד זה לשחק תופסת בתוך הים. נופלים, בולעים מים מלוחים, משתעלים, בוכים, ומייד קמים וממשיכים לרוץ ולברוח.

מעבר לשימוש במכשיר ההשחתה של פרימה/אינגוילד בולם שרכשתי לאחרונה באיקס מיקס, השתמשתי גם בצעצוע החדש והמלהיב שקניתי שם - הביג שוט ובד היוטה. השלט עבר טיפול בגלימר מיסט משני סוגים ודיו דיסטרס בכמה גוונים, אחרי שנצבע בג'סו. העיגולים הוחתמו עם גלגל הפלסטיק של הדבק התלת-מימד, בשלולית שנוצרה מהתזת הגלימר מיסט על מחזיק השלט. החבל נצבע עם אקרילי לבן וליפפתי אותו לעיגול מתחת לתמונה.
