My November Counterfeit Kit

I loved the inspiration kit for November at Counterfeit KIt Challenge blog, with a very beautiful color palette. 

The inspiration kit is from a Dutch club:

I used Lisa's tip to use Coolors.Co to play with the colors, and this is what I came up with:

And this is my kit, first papers side A (along with solid cardstock in coordinating colors):

I love the houses and the coffee cup to go images, and especially the watercolor strocks paper, so I counterfeited them. I played with Lindy's Gang products and made my a paper with strocks of the kit colors. I stamped a house stamp, and colored it with the same colors I already made, as for the coffee cups, I found this digital stamp, and then playes on my pc with the colors:

Finally - the embellishments:

Lots of buttons, some wood veneer embellies, stickers, alphas stickers, flair buttons and chipboards.

I didn't include flowers, stamps and enemal dots, as I will use them enyway as I make my projects.

I love my kit and hope to use it as much a posiibble!

Where the wild things are - a lo

This is my 2nd post today, for my take on the sketch challenge for  Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog, please see here.

This my take on case file no. 15 at CSI:

The photo is of my youngest, two years ago, wearing all his clothes upside down, making a wohle dramatic show :).

'Eveidence' - monsters (cute!!! they are freebies for CSI members); metal (the flower under the monster with the date was made from can lids. here's a tutorial I've made how to make it); chevrons; layers.

'Testimony' - the journaling tell about my boy's little adventure at home, making a whole show with his clothes upside down. Since I write in Hebrew, I couldn't start it with the 'testimony' suggested at CSI, but my journaling starts with the words (in Hebrew): 'And the show starts...", and I also wrote about his imagination.  He was really such a draling!

דף שונה מאד מהרגיל אצלי, שהכנתי לאתגר משולב של צבעים, אלמנטים וג'ורנלינג. אחד האלמנטים שנדרשו הוא מתכת, ולכן הכנתי פרח מלשוניות של פחיות, לפי ההדרכה שהעליתי כאן. המפלצות החמודות והדף עם הזיגזג הצבעוני הם קבצים חינמיים לחברי האתר. את הדגלים הכנתי עם קיסמי שיניים ושאריות של דפים מדוגמים.

Another Christmas card, with a recycle/repurpose twist

I've made a Christmas card with non traditional christmas colors, and it was made for #94 sketch at Tuesday Trio:

There was a twist on the challenge - use something recycled/repurposed. It was a perfect match with the challenge at BasicGrey, which asked to use a household item or something you found around the house. All dp are BG (Marjolaine 6x6 pad and Porcelain 6x6 pad).

I recycled two items - the first one is the 'ribbon', which is actually a left over from curtains. On the bow, I added the 2nd recycled item - the pale blue flower was made from a used dryer sheet, that I colored with distress ink and sewed into a flower.
The sentiement is a freebie from Desert Diva.

The sentiment is from Deseret Diva. The rhinestones are from a local craft store. I distressed all edges.

עוד כרטיס ברכה לחג המולד (יש מספיק חברים בחו"ל לשלוח להם...), עם צבעים שאינם מסורתיים של חג המולד. הכנתי את הכרטיס לאתגר סקיצה מס' 94 של שלוש בשלישי, וצריך היה גם להשתמש בפריט מיחזור ולתת לו שימוש אחר מהרגיל. טוויסט שכזה נוצר בשבילי :)), אני אוהבת מאד למחזר חומרים ולהשתמש בהם ביצירה (ע"ע המיני אלבומים שלי, שכמעט כולם עשויים על בסיס של קופסאות קורנפלקס/גלילי נייר טואלט/דיסקים ישנים/קרטון גלי של אריזות מהסופר).

השתמשתי בשני פריטים - ה'סרט' הוא שארית של וילון ועליו תפרתי פרח שהכנתי מדף משומש של מייבש כביסה. את הדף צבעתי עם דיו דיסטרס ותפרתי לפרח. 

ומה עוד על השולחן שלי בהכנות? שני דפי אלבום, בשני שילובי צבעים שונים לגמרי. אני מקווה להספיק לסיים את שניהם במהלך השבוע.
השמש שהייתה היום הייתה בבחינת 'אור של מקרר'.... מאד קר אצלנו בחוץ. צעיר הבנים אוהב למדוד את הטמפרטורות בתוך ומחוץ לבית, ובערב מדדנו בחוץ 8-9 מעלות... העיקר שבבית חמים ונעים.
תודה על תשומת הלב ושיהיה שבוע קל ונעים, ואם אפשר - קצת יותר חמים. גשם זה בסדר, אבל לא קור מקפיא שכזה...

Teeth

September's inspiration at Screen2Scrap is the movie poster of Rio:

The extra bonus demands are:

One word title; use blue, yellow and red cs; add a bird. All of these are in my lo.

At first I thought I won't play with this challenge. The combination of blue/yellow/red cs was too difficult for me. I'm used to think about this color combo as something very bold, strong colors, and I wasn't in the right mood for that. 

But then I decided to take the challenge, and still make it my own, and so I went on the subtle shades of those colors - soft yellow, almost cream; pale blue; reddish. I really love what came out.

I used #99 sketch from Let's Capture These Sketches:

The photo is of my youngest, when he was 9 months old. Then he had only two teeth, and so the title says, in Hebrew: "Teeth". 

 vintage flourish frame is a digi from The Graphics Fairy; I've made two different kinds of rolled flowers:

The swirls and the bird were stamped with Ranger distress ink. I love the different effect of stamping with distress ink.

דף נוסף לאלבום של צעיר הבנים, הפעם עם תמונה שלו כשהיה כבן 9 חודשים. היו לו אז רק שתי שיניים, והחיוך שלו - שובה לב.

השתמשתי בשילוב צבעים מאתגר שביקש שימוש בקארדסטוקים בצבעים כחול, צהוב ואדום. בד"כ זה נתפס אצלי כשילוב מאד צבעוני, מאד חזק ובולט, וזה לא התאים לי עכשיו. אלא שאז החלטתי בכל זאת להיענות לאתגר, תוך שעדיין הדף יהיה עדין ורך כפי שרציתי.

לכן בחרתי ללכת על גוונים רכים ועדינים של שלושת הצבעים הללו - צהוב רק ועדין, כמעט על גבול הקרם; תכלת; אדמדם. התוצאה מאד מצאה חן בעיני.

המסגרת הוינטאג'ית היא חותמת דיגיטלית שמצאתי באתר The Graphics Fairy; את המערבולות והציפור החתמתי בדיו דיסטרס; הכנתי שני סוגים של פרחים מגולגלים והוספתי עלים מפאנץ'.

מאד מצא חן בעיני שילוב הצבעים מ-The Color Room, שהוא שילוב לא שגרתי עבורי. השתמשתי בו שוב לדף הזה, עם תמונה של צעיר הבנים כשהיה כבן 3.5 חודשים.

כרטיס שהכנתי לאתגר בבלוג שבו אני אחת מצוות המעצבות (Simple Doodles, האתגר מתחיל מחר - שישי 24.9). האתגר היה השראה מתמונה, ומה שקפץ לי זה שילוב הצבעים המאד מתוק (ורוד וירוק) והאווירה האוריינטלית.

לקח לי מעט זמן להכין את הכרטיס (עיקר ההתעסקות היה עם הפייפר פיסינג) והוא יצא מתוק וחמוד.

Huggable - lo and a very happy mail :)

This lo is for the challenge over Artastic, which asked to be inspired by this painting of Frida Kahlo:

The added criteria were: a photo of me or family member with pet, shades of brown & orange, a single tropical flower.

I used this sketch from Scrap and Stamp:

And the stamps I used are the paws (rubber stamp), and the little puppy (digi stamp), which I did with paper piecing.

What she didn't post is about the most beautiful necklace she gave me!!! It's that silver flower you can see on the photo above. How on earth did she know that I'm a 'silver kind of gal'????

Let me tell you that all those goodies are even more beautiful IRL!

I'm so thrilled!!!! Thank you so much, girl friend. You've certainly made me very very happy! And as you can see, I already used the signo white pen.... LOL (but I thing I'll just hoard the rest of the goodies...)

דף שהכנתי לאתגר של השראה  מציור - Artastic (תמונה של הציור - למעלה). היה צריך להשתמש בתמונה עם חיית מחמד, צבעי כתום וחום ולהוסיף פרח אקזוטי.

לפסים שמתחת התמונה לקחתי דפים מדוגמים וגלגלתי אותם. ראיתי את זה בכמה וכמה בלוגים לאחרונה, והרעיון מאד מצא חן בעיני.

גם המעטפות הטרנדיות  מוצאות חן בעיני, והכנתי לי מלאי שלהן, בעיצובים שונים. זה כל כך פשוט להכין אותן - שלושה קיפולים, עיצוב הסגירה, יישון עם דיו והוספת קישוטים (סיכות מתפצלות, תחרה, כפתורים וכיוצ"ב).

לחותמת הדיגיטלית של הכלב עשיתי פייפרפיסינג והוספתי גם חותמת גומי של טביעות כף רגל של כלב...

התמונה הנוספת היא של מתנה מדהימה שקיבלתי מהחברה הבלוגית שלי, Tesa, ששלחה לי את הכרטיס המדהים הזה, עם קופסת מתנה מטופלת יפהפיה ובתוכה סרטי תחרה מקסימים. וגולת הכותרת - שרשרת כסופה עם פרח. מדהים!

This one goes to the ONE I LOVE עבור מישהו אהוב מאד....

This card was made for a very very special kid, MY OLDEST!

He turned 8 years about 3 weeks ago, and this card is a big surprize for him, cause he'll get it with his big present from me - a new bike.

I just can't believe he is 8 years old already! He's my baby... It seems as if only yesterday he was snuggling in my arms, and suddenly he is a big boy. And a handsome one, take my word for it!

I'm working for the past days on a lo about his birth, so just stay tuned...

He LOVES transformers, and Trish from Simple Doodles kindly made this adorable digi stamp by me request (Thank you, Trish!). I paper pieced it (okay, I don't like paper piecing, as I said in the title of this post - this one goes to the one I love...). I used Fiskars border punch. The ribbon form my stash and so are the stary rhinestones. The sentiment is a freebie from Wendymade & all things crafty. The turquoise corrugated paper is from a package I got and recycled it.

את הכרטיס הזה הכנתי לילד מאד מאד מיוחד, הבן הבכור שלי! יום ההולדת השמיני שלו היה לפני שלושה שבועות, והכרטיס הזה הוא הפתעה עבורו, ויקבל אותו ביחד עם המתנה הגדולה שהוא עתיד לקבל - אופניים חדשים.

אני פשוט  לא מאמינה שהוא כבר בן 8.... נדמה כאילו רק אתמול הוא התכרבל כתינוק בזרועותי, והנה הוא כבר ילד גדול. והוא פשוט נאה ומקסים בטירוף, תאמינו לי...

בימים האחרונים אני עובדת על דף אלבום מעוצב שקשור ללידה שלו, אז יש למה לחכות...

הוא מאד מאד אוהב טרנספורמים, ו-Trish, מ-simple doodles, הכינה לי בנדיבותה הרבה את החותמת הדיגיטלית הזאת לפי בקשתי. עשיתי לה  פייפר פיסינג (אני לא ממש מתלהבת מהטכניקה הזאת, אבל כמו שאמרתי בכותרת - זה למישהו אהוב מאד...).

הקרטון הגלי היה חלק מאריזה שקיבלתי, אז ישר הוא עבר מיחזור. החותמת היא דיגיטלית חינמית מ- wendymade & all things crafty והסרט והכוכבים הם מהאוסף המתרחב שלי...

A Vintage Pink Family

A relative of mine gave birth to a baby girl a few weeks ago, so I've made this card for her.

I recycled a package of something I got, I even don't remember what, and that is the wavy craft cs. Also I used Pink music notes cs (also for the butterfly), pink lace ribbon, green leaves ribbon, silk riboon tiny flowers, flowers with tulle, 3 small buttons, 3 black pearls for the butterfly's body, 3 pink pearls, and I used gold stickles on the big pink flowers and on the butterfly. The image is a freebie from Pollycraft (you should really go and grab them, Paula has lovely digis, and she gives one freebie every friday).

I teared almost every edge on this one and inked it to get the old look...you can't see it, but the edges under the image and the lace ribbon, are also torn. also i drew some faux stitching around the image with glitter brown gel pen.

I just love this color combo of pink, green/olive & brown/craft.

I didn't do much vintage cards, but I think I'm starting to fall in love with this style...

את הכרטיס הזה הכנתי לקרובת משפחה שלי שילדה לפני כמה שבועות בת.

לא הכנתי הרבה כרטיסי וינטאג', למרות שתמיד התפעלתי מכרטיסים שכאלו. לאחרונה יצא לי להכין שניים-שלושה בסגנון זה ופשוט התאהבתי. אז ניצלתי את ההזדמנות להכין כרטיס בסגנון הזה.

השתמשתי בקרטון גלי שהיה בעבר אריזה של משהו שאפילו אינני זוכרת מה :). בנוסף השתמשתי בנייר ורוד מדוגם של תווי נגינה, ממנו גם הכנתי את הפרפר שבפינה הימנית העליונה. שני דפים אלו עברו 'התעללות' בקצוותיהם (גם אלה שמתחת לדמות ולסרט התחרה, רק שלא רואים זאת), עם מגבון לח והרבה מעיכה וגלגול עם האצבעות. אח"כ יישנתי אותם עם דיו חום. סרט התחרה הוא בגוון ורוד עתיק, כך שהוא השתלב יפה עם כל המכלול.

להחתמה הזאת (חינמית באתר של pollycraft) יצרתי מסגרת מסולסלת והוספתי תיפורים בעט ג'ל בצבע חום נוצץ. את הכל הדבקתי על נייר חום משרדי וגם הוא עבר טיפול של קריעת הקצוות ודיו (הפעם אדום).

על הקרטון הגלי הדבקתי סרט של עלים בצבע זית והוספתי בקצוות פרחים ורודים על מצע של טול, ועל גבי העלים הדבקתי פרחים קטנים עשויים מסרטי משי, וכפתורים. לגוף הפרפר הדבקתי 3 פנינים שחורות קטנטנות והוספתי גם 3 פנינים ורודות.

הוספתי קצת סטיקלס זהוב על הפרחים הורודים הגדולים ובקצוות של הפרפר. הכיתוב הוא אותיות ראב-און.

שילוב הצבעים הזה - ורוד, ירוק/זית, חום/קראפט - מאד מאד מוצא חן בעיני ואני חושבת שאני מתחילה להיות מכורה לסגנון הוינטאג'... במזג האוויר הסוער מאד ששורר פה בימים האחרונים, זה היה כיף מאד להכין את הכרטיס הזה, במיוחד אחרי תקופה די ממושכת שלא יצא לי להתפנות לכך.

CAS, just to let you know how much I care

I didn't do much crafting lately, 'cause all of my energy is to our family, need to give lot of attention to strength all of us.

A good friend of mine is away from home now, and it is very hard for her and for her family (she has three little kids at home...), so I made this card for her, to show her how much I care and maybe to cheer her a little bit.

I used fancy leaf stamp from simple doodles on a white cs, colored it with watercolor pencils, sentiment is computer generated, lavender glittered pp, and grosgrain cream ribbon. some green ink on the edges and green glitter for the leaves.

I used #77 clean & simple ftl sketch, it's a great sketch! and the card goes also for day 333 on 365 cards (green, glitter & grosgrain), and color combo #126 no time to stamp (green & purple)

On Sunday, Feb 14th, we are having the 'family day' here in Israel, and now I'm going to the 'family party' at my youngest's kindergarden. the weather here is lovely and so it supposed to be all weekend, so we'll be going outside to see some blossom tomorrow.

ישנה אמירה שכשהתותחים רועמים, המוזות שותקות... אז בתקופה האחרונה "התותחים קצת רועמים", והרבה תשומת לב ואנרגיה שלי מושקעת פנימה ולמשפחה, והרבה פחות ליצירה.

חברה טובה שלי נמצאת בימים אלה בקורס, הרחק מהבית, וזה מקשה מאד עליה ועל המשפחה שלה (יש לה 3 ילדים קטנים בבית...). הכנתי את הכרטיס הזה בשבילה, להראות לה שאכפת ושאני חושבת עליה ואולי קצת לעודד את רוחה.

השתמשתי בחותמת של העלה מ-simple doodles (חינמית) על בריסטול לבן, צבעתי עם עפרונות של צבעי מים, 'לכלכתי' את הקצוות בדיו ירוק, הוספתי גליטר ירוק על העלים, דף מדוגם בצבע סגלגל וסרט בצבע קרם. וזהו.

ביום ראשון יש את 'יום המשפחה', והיום יש חגיגה בגן. מזג האוויר נהדר היום וכך צפוי גם מחר. מן הסתם נלך לראות קצת פריחה בחוץ.
