Love Life - last card for vintage love week @ 365 cards

This is my take for the final challenge at 365 cards, the one that ends the Vintage Love week. The challenge, a recipe one,  required to put on the card these 10 ingredients:
paper piecing - all around the dp, and around the sentiment.
stitching (real or faux) - all around the dp. Now, I'll let you guess is my stitching real of faux... (those of you who already know my work, knows I use them both, so give your best guess). Also the flower is sewed and so is the button on top - it counts also, isn't it?
button - gorgeous one, don't you think?
die cuts -the sentiment is a die cut from K&Co. (and so is the dp).
5 x 5 card - not my fav size, but I didn't cheat at all this week, so I've done this one exactly by the rules!
pins - two black, one white - on the flower.
stamp - the swirl heart (a Uninty stamp).
distressing - naturally... with knife and distress ink.
3-D sticker - the corners (this one is kind of scraplift of my dear blogy friend Rose Miller, she can't make a card without corners...).
lace - the flower (well, Pam didn't allow combining days or other challenge blogs, but she said nothing about combining ingredients within the recipe challenge... hahahahah... so this embellishment combining 4 ingredients)

That's it!

I'm so happy I could join the fun this week at 365 cards. Vingate is my no. 1 style and 365 cards is my no. 1 challenge blog - a perfect match!
So thank you very much, Pam and all the DT at 365 cards. It has been a great pleasure playing with you this week. I do have a feeling that as always I learned a few new things throughout the challenges, and I'm sure it'll improve my scrapping.

Pam did allow to combine each day with only one other blogs challenge, so I'm entering this card for the vintage hues, at gingersnap.

And what about my stitching? real of faux? please leave your guess at the comment section (right beside the pencil icon). I'd love to read your best guess...

Thank you for visiting me!

Here comes the Train - lo for Frosted Designs

It's Tueseday, and that means the time for the sketch challenge over Frosted Designs. This challenge will take every other Tuesday, so you have plenty of time to play with us.

The sketch this time was designed by our talented Debbie:

And look what you could win:

(Ohhhh, I wish I could play to win it...)

The minute I saw it, I said: "It's a train!".... (or a truck...), and I knew I'll be using my kids' photos on the train at the amuzement park,  2.5 years ago.
The title says: "Here Comes The Train".
I twisted the sketch, so it will go along with the photos (and with the title, written in Hebrew from right to left...).
I cut the photos into the train's shape, I used some BG die cuts with buttons on top for the wheels, and rolled red dp and blue cs for the steam. I also framed the train with journaling.

I'm entering it also for the following challenges:
wheels - raise the bar
buttons - ssd

Now it's your turn to play with this sketch. Remeber - you do not have to make a lo! It can be anything, as long as you use the sketch. It's amazing to see the very different inerpretaion for the same sketch. Don't forget to come back and show us what  you've done. We'd love to see it!
