A year in review - mini albums and altered projects

It is almost the end of 2012, and it's time to make some scrappy review. This time about mini albums and cards I've made this year (for more close-ups, you can click on the title of each photo, to see the full post about the specific project).

I've made only 4 mini albums this year, so I'll show you all of them:

 Our Vacation - Summer 2011

The basis of the album, as well as the binding, is selfmade :).

A weekend in the north (Cosmo Cricket products):

This lo was made on a pre-cut chipboards and the binding was done simply with a metal ring.

My inspiration mini notebok, made from envelopes (Jillibean Soup dp):

Once again, I've made by myself this album from start to end. It has many openings, tags, etc. I also did the binding by myself, and I think this mini is the best I've made ever, concerning the binding. I hope next year to improve my skills in binding mini albums.

Here's a little fun project I've made for myself - a box for all my tags, especially the journaling tags I'm makiing for my layouts:

קופסא מעוצבת שהכנתי לעצמי בשביל כל התגיות שלי, במיוחד תגיות הג'ורנלינג שאני מכינה בעצמי.

במקור זו הייתה קופסא של תיונים, שעברה עיצוב  מחדש. גם התגית עם הכותרת על המכסה היא מיחזור - תגית בגד שקושטה בדף מדוגם  וקישוטים.

This is a gift box I've made for a good friend, filled with some goodies.

It also goes for Day 264 at 365Cards, for the ravishing ribbon challenge; anything but a card (with a riboon) at really reasonable ribbon; use some texture (mine are the felt flower and the ribbon) - stampin for the weekend;

לקחתי קופסא שהביא אחד מהילדודס מקייטנת הקיץ והפכתי אותה לקופסת מתנה. ניירות מדוגמים, סרט ענקי בקשר מהודר, החתמה שנחתכה בעדינות עם הסכין של פרימה, ופרח מבד לבד שהוכן בעזרתו של ידידי החדש - הביג שוט. יצאה קופסא מאד נשית ומהודרת. עכשיו צריך למלא אותה בגודי'ס...

A round gift box

A round gift box that I've made from old cd's and corrugated sheet, so the basis of the box is all a recycle project. I've made it using this tutorial, only I didn't make the hole on the lid.

I painted the box with pale blue acrylic paint, and embellished it with ribbons, flowers and silver glittered stickers. The big blue flower on the top of the lid is handmade.

קופסת מתנה שהכנתי לפי ההדרכה הנפלאה הזאת של נגה (בשינוי קל - אצלי זו קופסת מתנה ולא לטישיו, אז השארת את המכסה שלם בלי חור במרכזו). את הקרטון הגלי צבעתי בצבע אקרילי תכלת ולכלכתי עם דיו דיסטרס. מסביב הוספתי תחרה רחבה, ועליה סרט סאטן ועליו סרט פרחים. על המכס הדבקתי פרחים שונים וסטיקרים כסופים מנצנצים. מסביב למכסה הדבקתי גם כן תחרה ומעליה סרט פרחים.

הקופסאות הללו מאד שימושיות ואני בטוחה שאכין עוד כמה וכמה כאלו.

An Altered box and a card

I've made this altered box and card for good friends for the Jewish New Year.

I took this chocolate box I got from hotel we were staing at on one of our vacations (so good I kept it...LOL), this is how it looked in the begining:

I covered it with DCWV printed cs, added a lovely flower button and a tag, and that's it. And the final look (filled again with yummy chocolate :)..):

I would like to enter this altered box to the 'trinket box' challenge at LESSology.

I also made a card to go along with the box:

I made it using sketch #134 at CardPatterns:

I'm also entering this card to the 2nd day challenge at  Artful Delight, which is tic-tac-toe. I went on the diagonal row: make a card, include at least one button (I used 4 - the flower buttons)  and use a border punch.

I'm also entering this card to #4 challenge at Scraptastic, which is an easy peasy one - make a card :).

קופסת שוקולד שקיבלנו במלון בו התאכסנו באחת מחופשותינו, קיבלה שדרוג חגיגי ואלגנטי לכבוד השנה החדשה, כדי למסור אותה לחברים טובים (מלאה, כמובן, מחדש בשוקולדים...). את הקופסא המקורית ציפיתי בנייר מדוגם של DCWV, הוספתי תגית וכפתור פרח והקופסא מוכנה. צרפתי לקופסא כרטיס תואם.

On my desk - some scrappy items

The ending of the summer vacation, and the beginging of year at school, got me into a 'school' mood, so I made these boxes. The two round boxes are altered - oat cans that were covered with dp (Summer Seeds kit). The box was made by this tutorial, and I've put some of my alphas stickers there.

Here are the boxes filled:

Tomorrow the kids are back to school, and my youngest starts 1st grade!! I'm so excited about it, and I will probably have tears in my eyes on the cermony...

סוף חופשת הקיץ ותחילת שנת הלימודים שבפתח, הכניסו אותי למצב רוח של הכנה ללימודים... אז הכנתי לי שלוש קופסאות לאחסון חומרים סקראפיים. שתיים מהן הן מיחזור - קופסאות קוואקר שצופו בניירות מדוגמים (מהקיט הנפלא 'זרעי קיץ' של צרויה אילן), והשלישית הוכנה לפי ההדרכה הזאת.

כחלק מחופשת הקיץ שלנו, ביקרנו חברה שלי, שם הילדים בצרו ענבים ואח"כ צעיר הבנים נהנה עד לב שמיים לדרוך את הענבים. קשה היה לנתק אותו מהפעילות הזאת.

ומחר, חוזרים ללימודים, וצעיר הבנים עולה לכתה א'!!! אני מאד מתרגשת ומן הסתם אוריד לא מעט דמעות מחר בטקס.
