A monochromatic blue birthday card

One of the Top 3

I came across a great video by Jennifer McGuire, where she domonstrate stamping on a dark cardstocks, and I wanted to give it a try (you can see the video HERE).

It's a great technique and I'm sure I'll be using it more in the future.

I used solid dark blue cardstock, but stamping with the white pigment ink gave it a pale bluish tone, and made the blue ink stand out.

For outlining the flowers and leaves, I traced the edges with an embossing brush, and so I did inside the flowers, and then heat embossed with white ep.

The white outlines, along with the white matting make the whole design just pop up.

I added some glitter silver enmael dots as an extra accent.

Here're some close ups to showcase the different blue tones:

Best Day Ever! - a cas card

Another CAS and monochromatic card, this time brown shades.

I was inspired by the color combination at Inspire Create Challenges:

I don't have the exact colors, so I dived into my stash and looked for colors as much as possible close to these colors.

The flower background in dark brown, and the flower from the same cs as the casis - a grayish beige.

I stamped the sentiment in caramel color,and added some glittery enamel dots in a matching color.

I hope it qualifies for the challenge. What do you think?

Just for you - Color Throwdown meets CAS(E) This Sketch

Red, gray, black & white color combo is a very elegant one. It can be very dramatic, but also can be used for a very delicate style.
Color Throwdown #589 has this wonderful colors for their challenge:
I combined it with a CAS and elegant sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch #368:
I find that the bold red  flowers against the white background and the gray vases - makes this card very elegant.

A masculine birthday card, with a triangle and stars

I had some leftovers cuts from THIS CARD, so I used them for another one!
I matted the blue triangle with white cardstock, adhered it to a kraft basis and added some die cut stars and a sentiment.
I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:

On A Winter's Day

Edit: Top 3 (4) at Scrap Africa!

I find monochromatic layouts very challenging, especially if it's 'White with a Pinch of Other color'  challenge, so when I saw the new challenge at Scrap Africa, I knew I just have to give it a try.
I used Nov sketch from Purple Pumpkin (and also used a PP flair button). Here's the sketch:
There are many ways to deal with 'white on white' projects, and I used some of them on my lo. I used different textures - builder tape, masking with modeling paste, layers, raising objects with 3-D foam adhesive, etc.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

It also goes for the following challenges:
tic-tac-tow 1~2~3 Get Scrappy (mask, circles, leaves)
winter - deep ocean;
use stencil - scrap it girl;
die cuts - stampavie and more;
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog. Your comments are much appreciated.
