If you can dream it - you can do it (art journal)

Honourable Mention
November 2019

This is a new page in my art journal notebook, for two challenges.
The 1st - More Than Words challenge - success plus a key:
When I look back, I realize that the most successful things in my life were things I dreamt about, and then made them happen. So for me 'if you can dream it, you can do it' is the key to success. I also adhered a small key next to the message, to make it stand as my say.
The 2nd challenge is the color challenge from Lindy's Gang blog, with this beautiful color palette:
Here're some close-ups on the details:

Lindy's products I've used:
Moon Shadow Mist: Buccaneer Bronze.
Flat Magical: Caribbean Cruise set (Luscious Lime)
Shakers: Gutten Tag Teal.

Other products:
Prima Finnabair art basics: gesso clear, gesso white, soft matte gel.
Prima Finnabair extravgance: patina effect paste blue.
Prima Finnabair Art Daily stamps: Dream without fear set.
Stampers Anonymous TH stamps: mini motivation set.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments very much.

Just Coffee

The falling leaves, the cooler days and nights, all are screaming for somthing warm and cozy, and drinking coffee with a good friend is so perfect.
I used my November Counterfeited kit for this layout.
I used 1st sketch from Sketches in Thyme:

I was inspired by several challenges:
13@rts, with this beautiful moodboard:
I was mainly inspired by the 2 photos on the right and left corner on the bottom - the beautiful blanket and the table.
13@rts products that I've used are:
Ayeeda mists - pearl brown light, chalk yeallow amber and pearl old gold;
Rainbow color - brown;
Alice in Cancyland stickers.
The 2nd challenge was Mixed Media Place, again with a beautiful autumnly moodboard:
I was inspired by the colors: different shades of brown and cream, orange, yellow and gold.
The 3rd challenge is the soft and suble moodboard from Creative Embellishments:
I was inspired by the colors of brown, cream, gray and yellow/gold. For the twist of wood, I used heart and arrow wood veneer.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

Another inspiration came from More Than Words mini challenge:

The last challenge was a local one, held by the talented Sharon Burla-Ziv, which is 'Under the Sea'.

Here're some close-ups:

Other materials I've used:
Prima/Finnabair - heave gesso white, 3D gloss gel, acrylic paint metallique light patina, patina effect paste blue, snowflake paste, mega art stones, mini art stones.

Summer 2019 - CSI case file no. 288 reveal

Warm July is already here, and we have a summer theme inspiration for you at CSI, with case file no. 288:
Isn't it just a yummy inspiration image?
I scrapped without a photo, only documenting our plans for this summer. it's the first time I scrap in real time and not about something that already happened.
I used all 5 colors and for the evidence I used: ice cream themed elements, circular elements, triangles, labels, sprinkle (embossing powder, sprays, sequins), bows and numbers.
I was inspired by the inspiration word 'Great", and placed my journaling on labels.
I used a mixed media tag I've made a while ago, and backed it with another tag, colored with brown mist and with a patterned paper with triangles.
For the background I stamped with 7 Dots Studio stamp and used Lindy's sprays in coordinating colors for the splatters.
The leaves and the doily were also colored with Lindy's spray in pink.
Thank you for visiting my blog and I appreciate your comments very much.

A golden purple mixed media tag

A winner at Lindy's Gang
for May challenge

Here's a mixed media tag I've made for May challenge at Lindy's Gang blog, with this majestic pallete:
I was also inspired by the April challenge at Mixedmedia Place blog, with this beautiful moodboard:

I started by cutting a tag from a thin chipboard, then covered it with a good layer of Finnabair white gesso.
Next I wet the tag with water and applied Magnolia Magenta Gold Magical shaker, and let it run all over the tag.
I used 49 and Market stamp 1787 with embossing ink and heat embossed with King Midas Gold ep.
Look how beautiful it looks:
I've made some embellies - for the flower I colored a watercolor paper with Summer Lovin Sun flat spray
Then I stampped a flower in layers, using embossing ink. I used Purely White ep on all of them, but tried several combinations with Sunrise Salmon Gold  ep and Caesar's Gold ep:
I colored watercolor paper one with Hi Maintenance Magenta spray, and the other one with a combination of Raspbery Lemonade flat spray with Oom Pah Pah Pink shaker and Alpine Ice Rose shaker:
On the purple one I stamped leaves and heat embossed them with Tannenbaum Green Gold ep:
From the pink one I die cut some leaves:
I also die cut more shapes of leaves, and colored some with Antique Gold shaker:
The others with Grab a Guy Gold spray and heat embossed them with Sunrise Salmon Gold:

I glued all the elements on the tag, using Finnabair Soft Matt Gel, added some sissal and gold glass beads:
For the final touch I brushed with white gesso and also sprinkled it here and there:
