As an opposite to my two previous layouts (this one and this one), which were of a snowy theme, here's a lo with a super summer theme - My Beach Boys. I've made this lo for the new challenge at Frosted Designs, which required to use at least 3 photos (or images, etc.). We have a wonderful sponsor for this week, One Stop Card Crafts.
For this lo, I took 2 photos of each of my boys, and one larger photo with both of them. I used the Helen Croft's sketch, #40 Scrap a Little:
I only turned it to work with my photo's direction. Again I used printed cs from DCWV "The Guy" stack that I just got (new scrappy goodies...), and the brown strips are leftovers. The big ribbon flower in the middle was made according to Helen's Croft's tutorial, only I topped it with a button. The hearts, the xo and arrow are rub-ons, and I also used some seashells. The ric-rac strip is a die-cut. Here are some close-ups:
I distressed the printed cs' edges and also all the journaling page's edges.
It looks as if I'm back to brown/cream/blue colors...
I'm also entering this lo to the following challenges: really reasonable ribbon (the printed cs are new); gingerloft; secret crafter; creative cottage; pio; crafty sentiments; catch the bug; if the shoe fits; flourishes; craft your passion; paper issues; papertake weekly; creative inspirations; crafts and me

את הדף הזה הכנתי לאתגר ב- Frosted Designs, והפעם - להשתמש לפחות ב-3 תמונות (או חותמות וכיוצ"ב). השתמשתי בסקיצה מאתר של סקיצות מאד מוצלחות (קישור בטקסט באנגלית), ובאותו אתר גם ישנה הדרכה לפרח שעשוי מסרטים. שוב עבדתי עם ניירות מדוגמים של DCWV - חבילת The Guy (מאד מוצלחת! במיוחד אם צריכים צבעים של "בנים"). קצת רבאונים, כפתורים וצדפים מחוף הים. הרצועות החומות הן השאריות מחיתוך קארדסטוקים כדי שיתאימו בגודל לשמרדפים.
