A Circle of Love - Nov 1st at Stuck?!

This is my 1st layout as a DT member at Stuck?!, with this fab sketch by Laura:

I had so much fun working with this sktech. I used two photos of my sons at the seaside, on 2012 summer. I went on a monochromatic design, with a touch of teal with Lindys Stamp Gang starburst. I alos did some heat embossing and used rub-ons and a twine.

דף ראשון שהכנתי כחלק מצוות המעצבות ב-!?Stuck. השתמשתי בשתי תמונות של הילדודס נהנים בחוף הים בקיץ 2012. העיצוב הפעם הוא כמעט לחלוטין מונוכרומטי, עם נגיעה של כחול במיסט. עשיתי גם אמבוסינג עם חותמת רקע נפלאה ואבקת אמבוסינג לבנה.

נתתי גם הצצה קטנטנה לדף שאותו אעלה מחר, עם הפתעה קטנה, אז אתן מוזמנות לשוב ולבקר כאן מחר.

Family - The Sweetest Thing

March 2nd challenge at About A Boy is Scraps - use only scraps for your boyish layout. Everything in my lo is from my March counterfeit kit, and all the dp are scraps. I didn't cut any new dp for this lo, and some of the embellishments are made from scraps too (the paper straw - here's a tutorial I've made; the sub title, the small banners).
I used March sketch from Purple Pumpkin (and also used some of their buttons):

I used Mr Huey's mist and white gel pen for the faux stitching. I also used a homemade paper envelope (and here the tutorial how I've made them).

האתגר השני לחודש מרץ בבלוג של About A Boy הוא להשתמש בשאריות בלבד. כל החומרים בדף הזה הם מקיט החיקוי של חודש מרץ, ולמעשה אף נייר מדוגם בו השתמשתי כאן לא נחתך במיוחד לדף הזה, כולם שאריות מפרוייקטים קודמים. גם 'קש' הנייר עשוי משארית (לפי ההדרכה שכאן), ואפילו כותרת המשנה היא בעצם הפס שיש בתחתית כל דף מדוגם (במקרה הזה של MME). ממש דף חסכוני. השתמשתי גם בשקיות הנייר המדוגמות (הדרכה להכנתן), בכפתורי בד מנוקדים ומדליקים. השפרצתי קצת Mr Huey's, והוספתי תיפורים בעט לבן. שלושת הינשופים, בשלושה גדלים שונים, התאימו לי מאד לתמונה :)).

We finaly got some winter here... it's cold and rainy outside, which means great time for scrapping, and what's better than a warm feeling, vintage look layout?

The photo is of my youngest, 4 years ago. I printed the photos in sepia, and it made my youngest think that it's his grandpa and not himself.. LOL

I used #182 sketch from Creative Scrappers:

I was inspired by #84 palette from The Color Room:

I did mix and match here, with different companies of dp and embellies. Stitching, distressing, masking, rub-ons, chipoards. tags, homemade bling, flowers and lace. Lots of layers and gold stickles. A rich and warm layout.

עם החורף שבחוץ, חמים ונעים בבית וזה זמן אידיאלי ליצירה, ואין כמו דף וינטאג'י, עם גוונים חמים של קרם/חום/זהב....

התמונה היא של צעיר הבנים. הדפסתי 3 עותקים בגווני ספיה, מה שגרם לצעיר הבנים לחשוב שזה סבא שלו בתמונה... מסביב לתמונות מרחתי קצת צבע אקרילי, להדגשת המראה הוינטאג'י.

הדף הזה עשיר בחומרים ובטכניקות - הרבה שכבות, דיסטרסינג, תפירה, צ'יפבורד, תחרה, ראב-אונים, בלינג שהכנתי בעצמי, מסיכה עם מפית תחרה, תגיות ופרחים.

יש לי עוד שני פרוייקטים על השולחן, מחכים שאסיים אותם - אחד הוא מיני אלבום מחופשת הקיץ האחרונה שלנו, והשני דף נוסף, הפעם עם גוונים כחולים/ירוקים/כסופים. נראה מה יתבשל בהמשך השבת...

First Grade - lo

סקיצה נקיה ופשוטה שקסמה לי והתאימה מאד לתמונות היום הראשון של צעיר הבנים בכתה א'.

דף הרקע הוא מהקיט 'זרעי קיץ' של צרויה אילן, אבל את הדודלינג המתוק שבצד הדף, של ילדון עם גלגל ים, הסתרתי עם דוילי, שעליה גרדתי מסגרת של ראב-און והוספתי שני סטיקרים של תפו"ע.

הוספתי גם קצת דף מדוגם נוסף מהקיט, עם רקע כחול ואותיות, למרכז הדוילי הגדולה. מתחת תפרתי פסים בזיגזג ובאיקסים.  קצת התזה של גלימר מיסט, ועוד 2 סטיקרים על הבורדר המסולסל. האותיות הן 'תוצרת הארץ' של רחלי גזית ומסטיקים, ועברתי מסביב להן עם עט ג'ל לבן להדגשה.

איזה כיף, הגיע כבר הגשם! מי יתן והשנה הזאת תהיה עם גשמי ברכה.

After I made this lo, I used some leftover scraps to make a card for the Jewish New Year, which is just around the corner. I entered the lo for the Scrapbookers Anonymous challenge, and they have an extra challenge each month to make a card from the leftovers of your lo, I just didn't see the Inlinkz there for the cards, so I'm waiting for it to appear...

I followed the white space challenge - day 184 at 365 cards.

Dream - lo

Another lo for 'The 1st Year' album for my eldest. The photo was taken when he was almost 4 months old. It's the only photo of him with a pacifire, he didn't like it at all.

I wanted to give the lo the dreamy look, so I used pale blue, white and cream. I also lightly  painted the edges with white acrylic paint and so I did to the photo and the matting. For the title I used rub-ons (Doodlebug Designs), with a thin alphas, so the airy look was kept.

The pale blue scallop strip is Bazzill; doily cuts are from October Afternoon dp; the doily, lace ribbon and satin ribbon are from my stash; the definition jouranling are from an old dictionary.

דף נוסף באלבום השנה הראשונה של הבכור. תמונה מגיל כמעט 4 חודשים, כשהוא נם בשלווה בלול. זו התמונה היחידה (כך נדמה לי) שלו עם מוצץ, כי הוא לא אהב את הקונספט.

כדי לשמור על  מראה חלומי, הלכתי על גוונים מאד רכים של תכלת ולבן, עם נגיעה קלה מאד של קראפט. נגיעות קלות של צבע אקרילי לבן מעורבב עם תכלת על שולי דף הבסיס ועל התמונה והמאטינג, גם כן כדי להוסיף למראה החלומי האוורירי. השתמשתי בדוילי ובחיתוך של דוילי'ס מדף מדוגם, בחיתוך עם שוליים מסולסלים (ממסטיקים). הכיתוב הוא מראב-און של דודלבאג, בפונט מאד דקיק. ההגדרות המילוניות הן ממילון ישן.

דף מעוצב שהכנתי כחלק מצוות המעצבות ב-Frosted Designs. האתגר השבוע הוא פסים ונקודות. אתגר קליל ופשוט, עם פרס מאד שווה שאפשר לזכות בו.

שני הפרחים הם שימוש בשאריות עד תום. את הפרח הגדול הכנתי בטכניקה שלמדתי ממש לאחרונה, ואני מאד אוהבת את המראה שלו. הפרח הקטן, עם הג'ורנלינג, הוא שימוש במה שנשאר כשמוציאים חיתוכים מדף שלם, כשהדבקתי ב"חור" שנוצר דף מדוגם וגזרתי מסביב. הוספתי גם קצת אבקת נצנצים מסביב.
האותיות הן של "תוצרת הארץ".
