Lovely Memory - CSI case file no. 336 November 1st

A new case file is up on CSI - case file no. 336, with beautiful photo inspiration and colors:

My inspiration came from the wall and the frames, and from this starting point I went on.

I used all 5 colors and from the evidence I used: stripes, wood plank background, floral pattern, frames, flowers, metal, something transparent (the black stickers) and cursive fonts.

The photo was taken on our last visit to Italy, we went to several countryside places, and this is one of them. I also framed my jouranaling.

For the love of shopping - CSI case file no. 310

Although it's not my turn of CSI blog, I really liked the inspiration photo and decided to join for case file no. 310:

The first thing that comes to mind seeing this photo is LOVE, usually associated to Valentine's Day, but the colors of the photo reminded me my photo from C&A at Nantes, take  on December 2018.
We hae a rainy morning so we decided to spend our time in shopping! The local C&A shop was very close to our hotel so after breakfast we went there and spent out time (and money...) in the shop.
My friend is a real shop-oholice kind of person and I'm not, but I was drifted in the mood and went out with huge red bags, full of clothes for me and for my boys. It was really a fun day :).
I've used Laura Whitaker's sketch for MCS:
I flipped the sketch on the side and used only one photo, but I think you can see the sketch pretty easily.
I used all 5 colors. From the clues: plaid, stripes, woodgrain, frames, hearts, houses, silver elements (the hearts on the big frame were heat embossed with a Lindy's Queen Sheba's Silver ep), word stickers, chipboard (the 'Love' title - Creative Embellishments', heat embossed with Lindy's Purely White ep), stamps and washi tape.

My journaling is framed by the small red frame on top.

Magic - case file no. 294 at CSI

Happy Sunday to all my crafty friends! after a very long summer vacation it's time to get back to routine.
And a new month means a new case file at CSI - case file no. 294. Here's the inspiration photo:
The color scheme reminded me of the colors of Mickey Mouse and Mini Mouse photos from our visit at Disneyland Paris, so I took one photo of me & the mouse and one of me & Mini...
I used Laura Whitaker's fab sketch for MCS:
I used Simple Stories papers and embellishments, mainly from Say Cheese II collection, and added some Echo Paper papers.
I used ALL the clues from the evidence: grid pattern, ledger pattern, papers with a graphic pattern (circles), school-themed elements (the pencil that holds the title), camera, metal (the brads and the eyelet on the tag), buttons, brads, layers stickers (handmade - the cloud), geometric shapes (circles and rectangles), dimensional letters (chipboards letters), a string, a clip, frames, used a pen to draw outlines.

I wrote my journaling on a lined paper and used the inspiration word 'Back to'... I wrote about going back to childhood memories and charcters.

Here are some close-ups on the details:

Inspiration - CSI case file no. 275

It's a new months and there's a new case file at CSI - case file no. 275, with this beautiful inspiration photo, with the guidelines to solve the case:
I was inpired by hanging prints on the wall. I used stripes, polka dots, leafy elements, washi tape, typewriter, hangers, frames and created a "shelf" for my journaling spot. I also adhered the journaling spot to the 'wall' with washi tape.
The title says, in Hebrew - Inspiration, and my journaling is about what gives me inspiraton in my crafting.
This layout is way far from my usual style. no mixed media, no multy-layers, quite CAS one. it feels a little 'empty' for me...
Here're some close-ups:
