Autumn colors card

One of the Top Picks

As soon as I saw the current challenge at Color Throwdown, I knew I just can't resist those colors! So so beautiful.

I used several distress inks and distress oxide inks - aged mahogany, spiced marmalade, dried marigold and festive berries, with leaves stencil (Creative Impression).

I cut the leaf steam (SSS) from a golden cardstock, and put some of the cut leaves back inside, adhering it to the colored panel.

I die cut a small tag for the sticker sentiment, and added a red twine, and adhered it to the panel.

I then matted the panel with an orange cardstock and adhered it to the maroon basis.

I loved the colors and the autumn leaves on the street.

Shana Tova cards for charity

Rosh Hashanah is 3 months ahead, and I've started making greeting cards. There's a great initiative on a local FB group to make charity greeting cards for an elderly people, holocaust survivers, and I decided to join the project.
I've used my June Counterfeit Kit, and this project is 'a killing kit' project :).

I've already made 14 cards, and I intend to make more in the next 2 months (till the project reaches it's dead line).
It feels so good to know that these cards will make people happy.
Actually, I've used most of my kit and it makes me so happy! There's another layout I've made using this kit, but you'll have to wait till July 1st to see it. Meanwhile I can share a sneak peek:

A card for Rosh Hashanah - Altair Art

Tody it's my turn on Altair Art blog, and since this week we celebrated the Jewish New Year, I needed a greeting card as we were invited to friends, so what can be better than beautiful Altair Art papers, full of gorgeous flowers?
I used papers from different collections. I really love how Altair Art collection can be combined together so well.
Here're some close-ups on the flowers fussy cutting:

I've used the following papers:

A trio cards for the Jewish New Year - for The Robin's Nest

Hello dear crafty friends,

Today it's my last post for The Robin's Nest, so it's a little bitter-sweet post.

Although the Jewish new year will be 3 months away, I started making my New Year cards.
This time I've made a trio cards - all the same design, only different colors.
For each card I took dew drops in matching colors and placed them on the bottom of the mason jar die cut, as if there's sweets in the jar. One of the common blessing for the Jewish new year is 'A sweet year', so I thought it would be nice to place those 'sweets' in the jar.

Here're the cards, separately:

For all the cards' basis I've used a shimmer cardstock, and all the dp are Altair. I've decorated the 'mason jars' with coordinating dew drops and tied a baker's twine around the cups.
