Three vases for a 'Mazal Tov' card

Happy Saturday dear crafty friends!

Today's card is in rather cool colors, inspired by the challenge at Color Throwdown, which asked for light blue, gray and brown:

I partially embossed a white panel, and grounded the vases on a brown cs stripe, which was also embossed in a woodgrain look, so the vases are standing on a wooden shelf.

From a light gray cs I die cut 3 vases, in different shapes (Sizzix Bigs Crockery), and partially distressed them with Distress Oxide 'tumbled glass'.

The vases were adhered on the woodgrain shelf with foam dots, and I added some pre-cut leaves in two brown hues and light blue.

The sentimen, 'Mazal Tov', is from some old letter stickers, in dark brown.

For the layout, I followed a sketch given in a local FB group:

Hello Sunshine, with double umbrellas

One of the Cut Above

One of the Fav at The Color Throwdown

It has been ages since I last posted here, but it feels
so good to be back again :).

Today's CAS card was inspired by some of my fav challenge blogs, and I also decided to challenge myself to make this card using only solid cardstocks.

Color Throwdown #783, with the beautiful color combo of peach, sage green and cream:

Freshly Made Sketches #626 with a fantastic sketch by Cecil:

As soon as I saw this sketch I knew I will use the still not used dies set by Sizzix called 'Flowers in Umbrella'.

CAS on Friday #278, which asked for 'Hello.

I also used for the first time the mini die by Xcut for the sentiment.

A floral crescent moon birthday card

I purchesed Sizzix die set on a sale, called Floral Moon Crescent Frame, and used it in this card.

I was inspired by the pastel colors from Global Design Porject challenge - lemon, green and pink:

I die cut the moon crescent from gold cs, the main flower in pink, the small flowers from a yeallow cs and the leaves from a green one.

The die set comes with a tiny dots die, and I used it to the flowers center and as decorative dots here and there.

The sentiment is from Waffle Flower 'Elegant Sentiments' set, and I stamped it with Ranger's archival ink 'vivid chartreuse'.

It also goes for the following challenges:

Addicted to stamaps and more - any occasion:

Gadgets

This is my take on August challenge at Scrap The Boys, which asked to profile our boys. I used a photo of my oldest, playing with his smartphone, else what?....LOL
Like many other boys at his age, he just loves all tech things - pc, smartphones, tablets, any gadgets, and the title says, in Hebrew - Gadgets.
Going along with the masculine tech theme, I made a mixed media background, with lots of mists (13@arts Ayeeda chalk blue light and chalk turquoise, Lindy's Stamp Gang moon shadow mist treasure iland aqua, Ranger's Perfect Pearls mist copper), and Tim Holtz distress stain antiqued bronze. I worked with TCW stencils (stacked triangles and quatrefoil reversed),  and with several dies (Sizzix TH weathered clock and gadget gears; Memory Box tessatina border). I also used some fab gears chipboards from Creative Embellishments.
Here are some close-ups on the details:
