Stained Glass Vellum Butterflies card

One of the Fav at

One of the Princesses

A card I made, using the stained glass on vellum technique.

After heat embossing the butterflies with a white ep, I colored them with pink and orange inks and adhered it to a white cs panel, matted with a green cs. The main  white cs panel was also matted, this time with a pink cs, and adhered to a white cs basis.

I heat embossed the sentiment with white ep on the same green cs as the matting, and adhered it to the center panel.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #532:

For the colors, I followed the beautiful color palette from Color Throwdown #689 - using pink, orange and green:

It also goes for the 'Spring' challenge at Time Out #212:

And the 'Signs of Spring' challenge at Seize the Birthday #236:

White on white cas card

A Top Cup at Sunday Stamps

Happy Saturday dear crafty friends!

Making a 'white on white' project can be very challenging, isn't it? embossing (cold or heated), dies, vellum, twine, enamel dots and dimentionals helped me make this 'white on white' card.

I'm not sure yet to what occasion I'll be using this card, wedding/ birthday/ anniversary, so I left it without a sentiment.

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:

Open Skies - CSI case file 325 July 15th

I'm not an American, so I don't celebrate July 4th, but still the colors of the inspiration photo for Case File 325 at CSI, cought my eyes:

The photo was taken on October 2015, when me and my youngest were on a vacation in London. Yet my journaling is 'Here & Now' - how Covid-19 abolished all our vacation plans since the skies are no longer open.
All papers I used are Piatek13, except the grayish woodgrain one, from the 'Off  Shore' collection. I love their papers - so beautiful and also heavy whieght.
How I solved this case file:
I used all 5 colors of the scheme. For the evidence I used: stripes, stars, woodgrain pattern, vintage/retro style elements (the alphas, the black stamped lace border), flowers, a banner, distressing, something transparent (vellum leaves) and melt something (I heat embossed the flowers and the hidden London stamp on the blue paper).
For my journaling I used the inspiration words free/ freedom and added stars to my journaling spot.

I used PageDraft sketch from Challenge YOUrself:

Happy Dreams - a beach inspired card

Happy Saturday dear crafty friends,
Today I'd like to share with you a beach inspired card, all full with summer vibes, I've made using beautiful Lemoncraft's papers.
I love to add more and more layers to my projects, and this card is no exception:
I had some stamped and heat embossed seashells from a previous project (you can see it HERE), and I used them in this card:
I really love the one that is stamped and heat embossed on a vellum (Lindy's Gang Orange Creamsicle embossing powder)!
The sentiment is also stamped and heat embossed (Lindy's Gang Desert Moon Turquoise).
I used pieces of gauze, a twine and Finnabair's mini art stones, all adhered with Finnabair's soft gel medium:

I would like to enter this card to 2 challenges:

13 assignments - Kraft Plus challenge

Happy Sunday dear crafty friends!
I really loved the current challenge at Kraft Plus, and I'm so happy I finally managed to play along with this challenge.
Here's the challenge's moodboard:
As part of his Bar Mitzva year, my youngest had 13 assignments at school, all around the theme of the Bar Mitzva and getting into adulthood.
He was asked to bring a decorative folder, to hold all the written assignments, so Mummy was so so pleased :).
I took a folder one of the kids' folders, with Spiderman on it (something borrowed), and coverd it with a blue paper to frame the kraft layout.
I used lots of mediums on this layout - first I primed it with clear gesso, then worked with a modeling paste over a stencil.
Next thing was adding color - Lindy's Gang sprays (Danny Zuko's Denim flat fabio, Sassy Sapphire shimmer, Delphinium Turqouise shimmer and Afternoon Delight Denim shimmer).
Stampping with 7 Dots Studio stamps here and there, splatters of white gesso and Lindy's Gang sprays.
I used Altair Art papers to mat the photo and the big hotair balloon die-cut (a new die - something new), from the Dream Come True 6x6 pad.
For the embellishments I added a piece of vellum, after I stamped with a text stamp, and some die-cut gears (Memory Box die). I also used some vellum diamond shape stickers, Sudio Calico's, that I've been hoarding for years (something old, well pretty old - I think I have them over 6 years..).
As for the blue - I guess I have plenty of blue on this layout, LOL.
Here are some close-ups on the details (just look at all the shimmer on it! love it):

Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments very much.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Made of Scraps - Guest Designer for Counterfeit Kit Challenge - March reveal

Hello dear craft freinds,
I was honored to be invited to be a Guest Designet at Counterfeit Kit Challenge for March. I love the concept of CKC, as it makes me use all the beautiful supplies I hoard.
This month CKC is doing it a little different from their usual way. We don't have a formal kit to counterfiet, and instead we have Susan's kit, that she made according to Jill Sprott's formula.
I took inspiration from Susan's kit and followed Jill's formula very closely. Here's a photo of Susan's inspiration kit:
I named my kit "Made of Scraps", and here are all the phtos and details:
* 8 pieces of pp scraps (Glitz, Simple Stories, My Mind's Eye, Fancy Pants, Echo Park, DCWV).
* 3 (not 4) specialty papers - 1 scrap of vellum paper with gold print, 2 embossed vellum papers (I run vellum papers with embossing folders through the BigShot).
* 2 complete sheets of pp (Simple Stories and Fancy Pants).
* A pre-2015 alphabet set (Echo Park Beautiful Life)

Embellishments:
* 1 sticker sheet, with at least one piece missing (Basic Grey)
* 1 yard of ribbon - green/white baker's twine.
* 1 opned package of scrappy products- Prima's sugar dots.
* 1 unopened package of scrappy products - Love 2 Scrap swirl bling.
* 1 roll of tape - washi tape.
* 1 item or package of product from a company that no longer makes scrappy products - left overs from a 6x6 paper pad by Cosmo Cricket.
Up to 10 journaling and/or Project Life cards/tags - some of them are from collections plus white and kraft tags I cut with a die.
2"wild card" items - the flower strip and the hotair balloon die cut.
A nearby item - I'm Roses flowers.
I've also added some die-cut clouds, labels, tabs and stars.

A card - Birthday Wishes

My cards box got quite empty, so I decided to make some cards to re-fill it.
This is one of the cards I've made, using Maja Design papers (Vintage Romance + Vintage Autumn collections).
I don't use purple very often, as a matter of fact - I hardly use it, but I was so inspired by the current moodboard at Maja Design, so I had to give it a try. Here's the Maja Design moodboard:
I've added some velum, on one of the layers of pp and wrapped the sentiment with the vellum, which made it muted a little.
The I am Roses flowers were colored with Lindy's Gang spray - Pop Rock Purple, and so was the stars chipboard (Scrapiniec). After I colored the chipboard with the spray, I heat embossed it with Lindy's embossing powder - Silver Moon Sapphire. I love how it turned out.
I've layered the flowers on some lace leaves and then added some splatters with Lindy's purple spray and with the Creme Brulee Cream spray.
The final touches were adding purploe glitter to the lady's hat, to the flowers and here and there on the pp, then some Robin's Nest purple mini Dew Drops, and my card is done!
Here're some close-ups:

I'm entering this card to the following challenges:
Maja Designs - January moodboard
More Than Words - mini challenge - 'wish'

January IAR challenge - anything goes
I was attracted to the celebration theme on this moodboard.
