My November Counterfeit Kit

I loved the inspiration kit for November at Counterfeit KIt Challenge blog, with a very beautiful color palette.
The inspiration kit is from a Dutch club:
I used Lisa's tip to use Coolors.Co to play with the colors, and this is what I came up with:
And this is my kit, first papers side A (along with solid cardstock in coordinating colors):
Papers side B:
I love the houses and the coffee cup to go images, and especially the watercolor strocks paper, so I counterfeited them. I played with Lindy's Gang products and made my a paper with strocks of the kit colors. I stamped a house stamp, and colored it with the same colors I already made, as for the coffee cups, I found this digital stamp, and then playes on my pc with the colors:
Finally - the embellishments:

Lots of buttons, some wood veneer embellies, stickers, alphas stickers, flair buttons and chipboards.
I didn't include flowers, stamps and enemal dots, as I will use them enyway as I make my projects.
I love my kit and hope to use it as much a posiibble!

Not old but vintage - CSI case file no. 300

Case file no. 300 at CSI is up, with a very special moodboard:
I have to admit - following the colors was challenging for me this time, but the theme was fab - inspiration quotes on the wall.
From the clues I've used: polka dots, stripes, text pattern, light bulb, flowers, brush font, clips, metal and quote stickers.
For the inspiration I used one of the quote on the wall - "You Got It" - as my inspiration.
I followed Page Maps sketch that was the challenge at Challenge YOUrself blog:

Chess - Scrap The Boys

This is my take on October challenge at Scrap The Boys. Well, one can not resist a sketch by Laura Whitaker, right?
Here's the sketch:
I used my October counterfeit kit, and along with me being happy how this layout turn out, I'm also very happy that I've used my old stash, and my DIY embellishments.
Here're some close-ups on the details:

October Counterfeit kit

This month I joined (again) to the challenge at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog, which had Studio Calico's 'Summer of '69 kit' as inspiration:

With the color scheme and patterns in mind, along with some of the embellishments, I decided that it's time to finally use some of the oldest items in my stash.
Yes, like most of us, I'm an addicted hoarder! So I took a decision that all the papers that I will include in my counterfeited kit, as well as some of the embellishments - will be at least 6 years old!
Here's the full kit:

Papers:

It has Fancy Pants, DCWV, My Mind's Eye, Echo Park, Carta Bella, Studio Calico, October Afternoon and Glitz. The only exception are 2 pp by Mintay Papers, but all the papers are 2013 and even before!
As for the mbellishments, again, a mixture of oldies with some new ones. Lots of enamel dots, in many colors, as I wanted all the colors that match my papers, doilies, DIY embellies ('chipboard' banners and buttons, large and small tabs, pp circles, 3D 'stickers', pp hexagons), washi tapes, stickers and alphas. I also added some embellishments from September countefeit kit, hoping to use them this month.
Finally, I also gathered some scraps of pp, with coordinating colors. It's time to destash the scraps box too:
And here're some close-ups on the counterfeited embellishments - I'm really proud of them:

I already have the 1st project to share with you, using this kit, in my next post.

Fly Away - September's Counterfeit Kit

Once again I'm playing with Counterfeit Kit, which have a special kit for this month, designed just for the blog, by Secret Not Secret Kit Club. Here's the inspiration kit:
I really loved it! finally a masculine kit :).
As usuall, I started by the colors, then the patterns and other items that my eyes were drawn to (like the white doodled ellipses on a gray paper, and the paper with the pine trees).
I decided that I MUST include some old papers and items in my kit in order to de-stash, along with more new papers/ items.
So here's my 'Fly Away' kit:
Papers side A:
Papers side B:
Add on papers side A:
Add on papers side B:
Embellishments:

I counterfeited the trees paper using Deep Red rubber stamp with different inks, I made a 7X5 kraft paper with cameras, using a Jillibean's stamp and embossing it with Lindy's ep.
Next I die cut some words from foam, and 2 others from a heavy wheight black cs, and then heat embossed it with a dark blue shiny Lindy's ep.  I also made my own doodled ellipses:

I also die cut some stars, tags, arrows, and made some 'tickets'.

I didn't include cs, stamps, mixed media products and stencils, as I will use them anyway along the way.

I already have some project in mind to use with my kit, so stay tuned....

Together Forever - CSI case file no. 270

Hello dear friends and welcome to my blog.
I'm sharing my DT layout for case file no. 270 at CSI, with this beautiful photo inspiration:
Once again I've used my January Counterfeit Kit, but added some diy embellishments.
I was very inspired by the color scheme, and used a photo of myboys playing. The photo was taken on our vacations, 4.5 years ago. So much happened since that photo was taken...
My clues were: woodgrain, branches, flowers, clock and brush lettering.
I started by stamping here & there with 49 & Market Pascale's writhing stamp with gray ink and a MME stamp with brown ink. Then I used Lindy's Tainted Love Teal spray, and some splatters with Lindy's Steampunk Sepia spray.
The flowers were stamped with anoter MME stamp on a heavy whiegh watercolor paper, using a Ranger's ink (Yeallo Chrome), then I fussy cut them and added an enamel dots in brown.
The leaves were made in two versions. the bigger ones I die cut with my Big shot, and then embossed with Lindy's Spring Leaf Chartreuse ep. For the smaller leaves I stamped on a watercolor paper, fussy cut and colored with Lindy's Aloha Avocado spray.
For the branches I die cut a watercolor paper and colored with Lindy's Steampunk Sepia spray. I really love the shimmer look on the branches!
I also stamped a Kaisercraft's clock stamp on a gray cs with Ranger's ink (cornflower blue, which has a grayish blue color).
As for the title, I used Creative Embellishment chipboard, first covered with Finnabair white gesso and the heat embossed with two Lindy's ep - Twilight Blue Slate and Byzantine Bronze. I love the two colored effect on the chippboard:
The sub title was stamped and mounted on a woodgrain pp, embellished with a stamped arrow, a flower, leaves and branches.
for the final touch I added some enamel dots in coordinating colors.

And here's the full layout once again:
